I’ve been wanting to take a closer look at this new Battle Cat from Mattel’s 2026 movie line, and now that I’ve got him out of the box and next to some other figures, there’s a lot to talk about. At 11 inches long and 4.8 inches tall, he’s scaled to work with the 5.5-inch core figures, which puts him right in that sweet spot reminiscent of the vintage Battle Cat’s relationship to the original He-Man. The green striping on the tiger body is present and accounted for, though the pattern and overall color palette lean into what we’re seeing from the live action film’s design language rather than strictly pulling from the cartoon or Classics aesthetic. The saddle and armor are sculpted as part of the figure rather than being truly removable, which is worth noting if you were hoping to display him as Cringer. Articulation sits at six points, so we’re in kid-friendly territory here, not Chonciles levels of posability, but the joints feel solid enough and the jaw has a chomping action paired with five different roar sounds, which adds a play feature layer that younger collectors or display folks might have mixed feelings about. The sculpt work on the face carries a nice sense of aggression without going full snarl, and the proportions feel well balanced for this scale class. For what’s essentially a $22 figure with electronic features, there’s a decent amount to appreciate here. Huge thanks to Big Bad Toy Store for sending this Battle Cat MOTU Core Figure over for review, and if he has been on your must have list, you can still grab him now at Big Bad Toy Store.

Packaging

I love this open-style packaging, which lets you try out the chomp feature right there on the shelf before committing. The artwork on the front features a great illustration of He-Man riding Battle Cat into action, and the warm orange and red color palette across the box really pops.

Battle Cat MOTU Core Figure Review 1

The side panel features a really cool illustration of Castle Grayskull, rendered in that same warm orange tone that carries across the rest of the box. You can see how the skull-faced fortress looms large on the panel, giving the packaging a great sense of Eternia’s world beyond just the character inside.

Battle Cat MOTU Core Figure Review 2

The back of the packaging ties everything together nicely, with a callout showing off the chomp feature complete with sound effects, plus a cross-sell section featuring He-Man, Teela, and Beast Man from the same line. You also get a stylized illustration of He-Man riding Battle Cat across a fiery Eternian landscape, which carries that same warm orange palette from the rest of the box.

Figure Details

Here’s a great side view that really shows off Battle Cat’s full body sculpt, with that dense, layered fur texture running from the thick neck all the way through the muscular haunches and down to those individually sculpted claws. The saddle and armor sit cleanly across the back, with spiked ridges along the shoulder piece and a sculpted swirl pattern etched into the saddle that you don’t catch from other angles.

Battle Cat MOTU Core Figure Review 4

From this side, you can see how the armor’s helmet wraps around Battle Cat’s jaw with those deep chin guards framing the open mouth, and the chest plate connects seamlessly to the saddle with a sculpted ring clasp at the throat. The orange stripes on this flank follow a slightly different pattern than the opposite side, which is a nice touch that keeps the fur texture feeling organic rather than mirrored.

Battle Cat MOTU Core Figure Review 5

Up close, you can really appreciate the sculpt work on Battle Cat’s open mouth, with those sharp white fangs and smaller teeth along the lower jaw creating a fierce, detailed snarl. The helmet is molded on as a permanent piece, and I love how those yellow-orange eyes peer through the openings with a ton of personality.

Battle Cat MOTU Core Figure Review 6

Here’s where the saddle really shines. The entire surface is covered in an intricate floral and scroll pattern that’s been deeply etched into the sculpt, giving it the look of hand-tooled leather you’d see on real equestrian tack. The buckle straps and riveted cinch around the belly are just as detailed, with individual stitch holes and a looped ring connector that make the whole saddle feel like a functional piece of gear.

Battle Cat MOTU Core Figure Review 7

He-Man looks right at home atop Battle Cat, with that silver chest armor and red cross emblem standing out sharply against all the green fur and deep red armor below. The contrast between his bare, muscular arms and the heavily armored steed creates a nice visual balance where neither figure overwhelms the other.

Battle Cat MOTU Core Figure Review 8

From the front, you get a full sense of how He-Man and Battle Cat pair together, with the silver chest armor and red cross emblem sitting right above the deep red helmet and saddle, creating a clean color story from top to bottom. Battle Cat’s wide, muscular front legs and splayed claws give him a solid, planted stance, and those individually sculpted toes really sell the weight of the creature.

Battle Cat MOTU Core Figure Review 9

From the back, you can see the great detail on He-Man’s leather harness and belt, with all those sculpted buckles and rivets wrapping around his torso and waist. Battle Cat’s fur texture is really impressive from this angle too, with that shaggy sculpt running all the way down through the curling tail, and those orange tiger stripes cutting across the haunches add a nice contrast against the green.

I finally got Nemesis Prime C-01N in hand and the Missing Link line has been doing something really special by reimagining what the original G1 toy line could have been with modern engineering, and seeing that concept applied to Nemesis Prime is awesome. Built on the C-01 Optimus Prime mold, everything here has been reworked to reflect that dark mirror identity. The black and teal deco is sharp, the Decepticon branded sticker sheet is a nice touch, and the inclusion of a new character card gives this release some real weight as its own thing rather than just a palette swap. What I love about the Missing Link figures is how they preserve that classic G1 silhouette and the satisfying heft of diecast while giving you the articulation that the originals never had. Nemesis Prime carries all of that forward, and the accessory count is generous with the trailer, axe, fusion cannon, Heart of Cybertron, and even Giza (aka Roller) is there is a teal paint app. It all comes together really well, and having a Decepticon entry in this line opens the door for so much more. I am really happy with this one. Huge thanks to Big Bad Toy Store for sending this Nemesis Prime C-01N over for review, and if he has been on your must have list, you can still grab him now at Big Bad Toy Store.

Packaging

The outer box for Nemesis Prime keeps things stripped down and utilitarian, with a stark black finish and bold white typography. It’s a no-frills protective sleeve designed purely to keep the inner box safe, and I appreciate that clean, minimalist approach.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 2

The back of the outer sleeve is exactly what you’d expect, just a clean black panel with the product designation and multilingual text. No artwork, no photography, just a straightforward protective layer doing its job before you get to the real presentation inside.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 4

The inner box is a gorgeous throwback to classic G1 Takara packaging, with that purple grid background and detailed character artwork showing both robot and vehicle modes. I love seeing Optimus Prime’s iconic silhouette reimagined in that dark Decepticon color scheme, and the purple and black palette across the entire box just screams villain energy in the best way.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 3

The back of the box is pure 80s magic, with that sprawling G1 battle artwork showing Nemesis Prime and other Decepticons clashing in a cosmic warzone full of laser blasts and explosions. The right panel breaks down four different formation configurations for the trailer, and the bottom section features the classic Japanese tech spec stat bars that were such a staple of vintage Takara packaging.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 1

It’s cool to see the sides of the inner box showcasing Nemesis Prime in two distinct poses, one with that classic mid-action leap alongside the trailer and another with the axe raised high. The purple grid background ties both panels together beautifully, and you really get a sense of how the dark Decepticon deco transforms the familiar Optimus Prime silhouette into something completely different.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 17

Here’s everything laid out in that classic styrofoam tray, which is such a nostalgic touch that takes you right back to the G1 era of cracking open a brand new Transformer. Nemesis Prime sits in vehicle mode alongside all the included paperwork: the instruction sheet, a collectible character card, a sticker sheet loaded with Decepticon emblems and console details, and that red decoder card, which is a fun little bonus you don’t see packed in with figures anymore.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 5

Here’s all the accessories Nemesis Prime comes with, and I love that several of them are still on their sprues, giving it that old-school model kit feel you just don’t get with most figures today. You’ve got the axe, fusion cannon, missiles on a sprue, Giza and the giza tires on their own sprue, the Heart of Cybertron, the energy supply pump and hose, so there’s a lot to clip and assemble here.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 7

Figure Details

Nemesis Prime fresh out of the box in vehicle mode, and I have to say the black and teal color scheme really works here. The cab’s deep black finish paired with those teal racing stripes running along the gray trailer creates a sinister take on the classic Optimus flatnose semi that feels distinctly Decepticon without losing any of that iconic G1 style.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 8

From the back, you can see the trailer’s rear panel has nice sculpted line details running horizontally across it, with a clean hinged door section and that sturdy rear bumper sitting just above the dual axle wheels. The cab’s dark finish contrasts sharply with the gray trailer when viewed from this angle, and those chrome exhaust stacks flanking the cab really pop.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 9

I love this left-side view of the cab in vehicle mode, where you get a great look at that Decepticon emblem stamped right on the side panel and the purple cab windows that give the whole truck an ominous personality. The chrome exhaust stack, fuel tank cylinder, and those textured rubber tires all add layers of detail that make this Prime one of the most iconic characters of all time and no wonder they have used this mold in so many different ways in this line.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 10

The right side of the cab mirrors the left perfectly, with the same Decepticon emblem placement, purple cab windows, chrome exhaust stack, and fuel tank cylinder all matching up symmetrically.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 11

The front and rear views of Nemesis Prime in robot mode really let you appreciate how that deep black deco works across the whole figure, with the fusion cannon mounted on one arm and that gorgeous axe. I love the axe especially, its pinkish-red coloring makes it pop dramatically against all that dark armor, giving Nemesis Prime a classic weapon that pops!

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 16

The cab section folds down to reveal the Heart of Cyberton (aka Matrix of Leadership) seated in Nemesis Prime’s chest, and it looks absolutely awesome. The gunmetal finish on the Matrix with that purple center gem is a perfect complement to the overall dark deco, making it one of my favorite details on the entire figure.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 6

Here’s the repair drone removed from the trailer and set up on its own, and you can see how it sits on that articulated scissor-lift arm that lets you adjust the height and angle of the turret assembly. The dual-barrel cannon module with its red dome housing has some great mechanical detail packed into a compact little piece.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 12

Here’s a look at the underside of the repair drone, and you can see the four small wheels molded into the chassis that let it roll along flat surfaces. They’re simple but cleanly sculpted with nice gear-tooth ridging around each one, keeping that mechanical feel consistent with the rest of the piece.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 13

Here is Nemesis Prime’s version of Roller, but in this alternate universe he is called Giza. You can see both front and rear views of the compact little scout vehicle, with its chunky six-wheeled chassis, and you can mount the fusion cannon on him, and that small red dome perched on the rear turret section looks like a light the way it was designed and you can simply flip it over as it is on a hinge for a different look.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 15

Here is Nemesis Prime with his trailer standing up and opened behind him, revealing the colorful tech-detail sticker panels applied to the interior walls alongside the mounted weapons and connector clips. The teal Roller vehicle and the black laser cannon companion sit flanking him on either side, and I love how the full spread of accessories really shows off the scope of what you get with this set.

Bringing back a renaissance of the knock off 5.5″ figure, the team at Formo Toys is expanding the universe of Legends of Dragonore with their related line of Warriors of the Galaxy! Beautiful homages of the 1980’s Sungold originals, this new line of 5.5″ figures is an exciting addition to the Formo Toys line of action figures. Ugg and Spikes from the Warriors of the Galaxy Wave 2 of Legends of Dragonore have been high on my radar ever since Formo Toys first teased this expansion, and now that they’re here on my desk, I can say the wait was absolutely worth it. Legends of Dragonore has been doing something really special for collectors who grew up loving those classic 5.5 inch action figure lines. There’s a reverence for that vintage feel baked into every release, from the blister card packaging to the pop-apart modular joints that let you mix and match parts across the entire line. It’s the kind of thing that makes your inner kid light up the second you crack open a new wave. Spikes in particular has such an incredible presence. Described as a dark spirit of the Galaxy Hole, he’s a mysterious general leading the Forces of Chaos on Planet Ferror, and that lore really comes through in the design. He comes loaded with a sword, shield, removable armor, removable belt, and a removable cape, giving you plenty of display options. And then there’s Ugg, who rounds out this pair perfectly with his own savage charm. Together they add so much personality to the growing roster of Ferror’s warriors. What I love about this line is that with six points of articulation and up to ten modular joints that are fully compatible with similar vintage modular figures, the play and display possibilities just keep growing with every new release. The plastic feels solid in hand, and the sculpts across both figures have that perfect balance of retro styling and fresh detail. So let’s take a look at our Ugg and Spikes in hand review!

Warriors of the Galaxy Spikes IH 1

Spikes and Ygg make a great pair side by side, and you can really appreciate how different their color palettes are, with Spikes’ black and green contrasting sharply against Ygg’s deep red-brown skin and crimson skirt. Each figure has their faction shield, and I love how those shields are a throwback to their vintage original! The panther crest on Ygg’s and the eagle heraldry on Spikes’ adding a layer of world-building you don’t always get at this scale.

Warriors of the Galaxy Spikes IH 2

Where to Buy

You can preorder the Warriors of the Galaxy NOW at BBTS & Formo Toys.com.

Spikes Packaging

The packaging really nails that retro blister card format, with a clear plastic bubble cradling Spikes and his accessories snugly against the illustrated backer. You can see how the figure’s dark brown body, green helmet, and purple accents create a color combination that feels distinctly alien and villain-coded, even while still sealed on the card.

Warriors of the Galaxy Spikes IH 3

Here’s a closer look at the back of Spikes’ card, which features a detailed bio section framed by a stone tablet border, complete with a circular inset illustration of his spiked helmet in black and white. The lower half showcases the full “Collect Them All” lineup, with black-and-white illustrations of Magnon, Baltard, Huk, Ygg, and Spikes himself, all rendered in a style that feels like it was pulled straight from a vintage toy catalog.

Warriors of the Galaxy Spikes IH 4

Spikes Figure Details

Spikes comes equipped with a solid spread of extras, including a silver sword, a green fabric cape, a faction shield sticker, and a mini comic. I like how they handled the accessories here, each one bagged separately, which is a nice touch for anyone who wants to keep things organized or preserve parts for customizing.

Warriors of the Galaxy Spikes IH 5

Armed with a silver sword and that bold faction eagle shield, Spikes cuts a striking figure with his green Spartan-style helmet, complete with a sculpted crest on top and a narrow T-shaped visor that gives his face an impenetrable look. The removable chest armor features a green face motif over silver plating, and the purple belt and green skirt break up the dark body with just enough color to keep things interesting.

Warriors of the Galaxy Spikes IH 6

You can see how the green fabric cape lifts away from the back, revealing the figure’s black torso and the underside of the removable chest armor where it clips into place. The cape has a nice weight and drape to it, with a slightly textured weave that feels like actual softgoods rather than stiff plastic.

Warriors of the Galaxy Spikes IH 7

From this side profile, the green fabric cape drapes all the way down to the surface, with a clean hang that follows the figure’s silhouette without bunching up around the shoulders. I noticed that the purple forearms and boots peek out just enough from beneath the cape’s edge to keep that color contrast alive even when most of the figure is covered.

Warriors of the Galaxy Spikes IH 8

Here’s a closer look at the back of Spikes, and the silver harness system across his torso is really well sculpted, with individual buckle details and raised rivets at each connection point. The green skirt wraps fully around the figure with individually sculpted pleats, and the purple belt sits cleanly above it with a small rectangular clasp holding everything together.

Warriors of the Galaxy Spikes IH 9

From the rear, Spikes’ helmet crest really steals the show, with that dense, textured ridge running from front to back in a deep green that matches the cape perfectly. The cape itself completely envelops the figure from the neck down, and its soft fabric drape gives him a real sense of weight and silhouette that you don’t often get with figures at the 5.5-inch scale.

Warriors of the Galaxy Spikes IH 10

From this profile view, Spikes’ silver sword has a nice tapered blade with a crossguard that flares out at each end, and the faction shield shows off its squared-off shape with a clean geometric border framing the eagle crest. I like the way the green helmet, cape, and skirt all share that same rich green, tying the whole figure together even when you’re looking at him from the side with his full loadout.

Warriors of the Galaxy Spikes IH 11

Spikes’ faction shield is a real showpiece up close, with a bold eagle crest split across yellow, red, and black fields, all framed by a thick silver border that gives it a proper heraldic weight. The purple gauntlets and boots add a pop of color against the dark body that I think works even better in hand than it does on the card art.

Warriors of the Galaxy Spikes IH 12

Here’s a closer look at the full cross-sell insert that comes tucked inside the packaging, and it’s a treat for anyone building out this line. The center spread features full-color photos of the entire roster, including warriors like Magnon, Baltard, Huk, and Ygg alongside creatures like Ignytor, Scorchwing, and Pyrant, while the left panel lays out Spikes’ modular parts list with line art showing every swappable piece from helmet to boots.

Warriors of the Galaxy Spikes IH 13

Here’s a closer look at the fold-out story booklet that comes packed in with Spikes, and I love that they included something like this. It unfolds into four illustrated panels that tell his origin, from a conquering military leader, to his capture and banishment into the Galaxy Hole, through his transformation into the dark being known as Spikes, and finally his emergence alongside a new army of warriors.

Warriors of the Galaxy Spikes IH 14

Vintage Spikes from Sungold Galaxy Warriors

The Sungold Galaxy Warriors Spikes action figure was part of the Galaxy Warriors line, which features a variety of action figures inspired by sci-fi and fantasy themes.

Spikes Galaxy Warriors Carded

He was themed after a dark Trojan Warrior with a cool helmet with green fezz on the top. This is a vintage figure is quite rare and fetches a pretty penny on the aftermarket!

Spikes Galaxy Warriors

Ugg Packaging

The card art leans hard into that classic ’80s action figure aesthetic, with a painted rocky alien landscape stretching behind two warriors locked in battle. Ygg’s illustration on the left shows him as a purple-skinned brute swinging an axe, squaring off against a barbarian hero on the right who sports a jeweled chest harness and Roman-style skirt.

Warriors of the Galaxy Ugg IH 1

Here’s a closer look at the back of Ygg’s card, which tells a great story through its bio text and cross-sell artwork. The bio describes Ygg as a fallen deity from a subterranean realm, once worshipped by followers beneath fiery skies, now reduced to an enforcer on the forsaken planet of Ferror after being pulled through something called the Galaxy Hole. The cross-sell section shows off the full wave in clean black-and-white line art, featuring Magnon, Baltard, Huk, Spikes, and Ygg himself, each illustrated with their respective weapons and gear. I like how the packaging design leans into that hand-drawn, almost storybook quality with its stone-framed borders and crossed axes flanking the text, really committing to that sword-and-sorcery aesthetic throughout.

Warriors of the Galaxy Ugg IH 2

Ugg Figure Details

Ygg comes with a solid spread of accessories laid out alongside him here, including a silver modular axe, an orange shield with a snarling black panther emblem, and a bagged mini comic titled “Warriors of the Galaxy.” His reddish-brown skin pairs with burgandy accents on the horns, wrist gauntlets, belt, and boots, while the silver chest armor features a skull-like insignia and riveted straps that sit flush against his torso.

Warriors of the Galaxy Ugg IH 3

You can see how the back of Ygg reveals a clean, uninterrupted expanse of that reddish-brown skin tone, with the silver chest armor’s straps wrapping around and connecting at the spine in a simple but effective cross pattern. His burgandy boots have a nice chunky sculpt with rolled cuffs at the top, and the red pleated skirt has a layered texture that holds up well from every angle.

Warriors of the Galaxy Ugg IH 4

From this side view, the modular axe really shows off its heft, with a double-sided silver blade that tapers to a sharp spike at the top and sits on a long cylindrical handle. I like how the burgundy wrist gauntlet has a segmented, almost ribbed texture that contrasts nicely against the smooth reddish-brown skin of his forearm.

Warriors of the Galaxy Ugg IH 5

Here’s a closer look at the back of the figure, and you can see how the silver chest armor straps create a clean X-pattern where they meet between the shoulder blades, secured by a central rivet. The red pleated skirt fans out naturally from the burgundy belt, and its individual strips maintain their separation all the way around the back.

Warriors of the Galaxy Ugg IH 6

From this profile view, the silver shield has a tall, angular design with notched edges at the top and a raised central ridge running its full length, giving it a distinctly brutish, medieval feel. Ygg’s head sculpt is full of character from this angle, with those sharp, jagged teeth lining an open snarl and a deeply textured, almost reptilian skin covering the snout and brow ridge beneath those sweeping purple horns.

Warriors of the Galaxy Ugg IH 7

Outfitted with his full gear loadout, Ygg looks absolutely fierce here, and the shield is the real showpiece, with that snarling black panther emblem popping against the orange field in bold, flat graphic color that feels pulled straight from the mini comic’s art style. I’m really digging how the silver chest armor’s panther-skull insignia mirrors the shield’s motif in miniature, tying his whole warrior kit together thematically.

Warriors of the Galaxy Ugg IH 8

Armed with his full kit, Ygg looks like he’s about to charge straight out of the pages of that included mini comic, and it’s easy to imagine this exact moment illustrated in one of those lush painted panels showing his arrival on Ferror. The shield’s bold, graphic panther emblem has that flat, storybook color sensibility that ties the figure directly back to the comic’s art style, making him feel less like a standalone toy and more like a character ripped from a specific narrative moment.

Warriors of the Galaxy Ugg IH 9

Here’s a look at the included mini catalog unfolded, and the left panel is what I want to focus on. It lays out Ygg’s full modular parts list in clean line art, showing every swappable piece individually, from the axe and shield to the removable armor, belt, and each pop-apart limb that makes up his ten modular joints.

Warriors of the Galaxy Ugg IH 10

Here’s a closer look at the full mini catalog spread out, and the artwork across these panels is gorgeous. The right half tells Ygg’s story through richly painted illustrations that progress from his reign as a subterranean deity surrounded by candle-lit worshippers, through his brutal conquest of enemies, to his emergence from the Galaxy Hole onto Ferror’s surface, and finally his alliance with a ragtag band of warriors called Spikes’ Legion, all rendered in a lush, saturated palette that shifts from warm golds and earth tones to deep crimson and moody grays.

Warriors of the Galaxy Ugg IH 11

Vintage Ygg from Sungold Galaxy Warriors

Ygg was released in 1987 as part of the Galaxy Warriors line from Sungold. He was a molded after some of the creeper warriors in Frank Frazetta paintings! He has an animal like face with a 3 horned head.

Ygg from Sungold Galaxy Warriors carded

The knock off line of Galaxy Warriors were an obscure but cool part of the 1980’s toy history and hold a dear place in our hearts! It’s so cool to see that Formo Toys are bringing them back in an awesome way! You can see his shield with the panther face on it, which I love that Formo Toys are recreating it. If you want to track down a vintage one, search HERE.

Fresh in from Mr. Home Arcade on YouTube, we’re getting a fantastic look at the Tri-Klops figure from the upcoming 2026 Masters of the Universe Origins movie line. If you haven’t already checked out his full video review, it’s well worth your time for the complete breakdown. From what these images show, Mattel has done some interesting work translating Tri-Klops into the movie aesthetic while keeping him grounded in the Origins format collectors know and love. The three-eyed visor is the centerpiece here, and the movie-inspired redesign gives it a more tactical, armored feel compared to the vintage look. The overall sculpt leans into the film’s grittier tone with layered armor detailing across the torso and limbs that adds real visual depth to the figure. His sniper rifle is included and looks to carry the design that fits the movie universe’s style language and his MOTU Chronicles counterpart. The color palette stays faithful to the classic green we associate with Tri-Klops, but with more of a military tone to it, which I appreciate as someone who wants these movie figures to still feel like they belong on a MOTU shelf. It’s encouraging to see how Mattel is handling these movie designs within the Origins scale and construction. Scroll through the images below and see for yourself how this one is shaping up ahead of the film’s release.

Packaging

The front card art features Tri Klops bursting through a fiery explosion with Skeletor’s skull looming behind him, while the back showcases stunning artwork by @fetch.franciscoetchart depicting him armed and battle-worn alongside a snarling dragon creature. Mr. Home Arcade gives a great look at both sides of the packaging, letting you appreciate how the illustration style shifts between the dramatic front composition and the more detailed, cinematic back panel.

Tri Klops MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 20

Mr. Home Arcade grabbed a close-up of the UPC on the bottom of the box, so you can pull it up on your phone and scan for Tri Klops at your local store. The barcode reads 194735 350827, which should make tracking this one down a lot easier if you’re hunting in person.

Tri Klops MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 1

The included instruction sheet maps out every removable part on Tri Klops, with arrows pointing to the helmet, shoulder armor, gauntlets, belt, and boots as swappable pieces. You can see the figure diagram is detailed enough to give you a clear sense of how modular the design really is.

Figure Details

The front and rear views together show how the armor wraps around the full figure, with the shoulder plates and ribbed copper tubing connecting seamlessly from chest to back, and the studded skirt panels providing consistent coverage on both sides. From behind, you can see the spine of the chest armor running vertically between the shoulder blades and the way the camouflage patterning on the pants continues uninterrupted around the legs.

Tri Klops MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 21

The side profile gives you a clean look at the tech detailing built into the arms, with a small silver rivet punched into the bicep that breaks up the sculpted musculature with a mechanical accent. The helmet’s visor housing, the ribbed tubing feeding into the shoulder armor, and the orange gauntlet holster all layer up nicely from this angle, reinforcing that blend of organic muscle and embedded tech throughout the limbs.

Tri Klops MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 22

The rotating visor feature from the classic design is fully intact here, and as it cycles through each lens position you get a clear look at the different eye sculpts underneath. Mr. Home Arcade captured all three rotations side by side, so you can see the visor shifting from a pointed triangular lens to a rounded dome to a squared-off shape.

Tri Klops MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 23

The up-close shot of the legs reveals just how intricate that hexagonal camouflage pattern is, with layered geometric shapes printed across every surface of the pants in a way that mirrors the tactical camo seen on the MOTU Chronicles version of the character. You can see the pattern wraps consistently from thigh to calf, maintaining tight registration even over the sculpted muscle contours and joint seams.

Tri Klops MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 5

The sniper rifle stretched out flat gives you the best sense of its full proportions, with that extended barrel making up nearly two-thirds of the total length. The folding bipod tucked underneath the stock is a nice detail that’s easy to miss when the rifle is posed in hand.

Tri Klops MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 11

Tri Klops looks great posed up with the sniper rifle, and you can really take in the sculpted scale-like texture running across the arms and legs. The copper gauntlets and belt pop against the darker tones of the body suit, giving the whole outfit a layered, military-tech feel.

Tri Klops MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 3

From this angle you get a much better sense of just how long that sniper rifle is, with the barrel extending well past the knee.

Tri Klops MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 4

Here’s a great look at Tri Klops stripped down without his chest armor, alongside every removable piece laid out, the helmet, shoulder armor with its ribbed tubing, the studded skirt, and the sniper rifle. Even without the bulky chest plate, he holds up well on his own, with the tight dark bodysuit and camouflage pants carrying plenty of visual interest.

Tri Klops MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 7

The sniper rifle’s sculpt is packed with mechanical detail, from the ribbed barrel to the blocky scope and stock, and it’s easily the longest accessory in the set. The chest armor shows off its copper-toned ribbed tubing looping over the top, while the studded skirt piece sits alongside its copper buckle clasp, giving you a clear look at the texture and construction of each removable part.

Tri Klops MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 8

The scope on the sniper rifle has tiny icons sculpted into it that mirror the different eye shapes found on the rotating visor, a clever Easter egg tying the weapon directly back to the character’s signature feature. Mr. Home Arcade got close enough to let you pick out those engraved lens shapes, which are easy to overlook but add a whole layer of intentional design connectivity between the rifle and the helmet.

Tri Klops MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 25

The front view without armor reveals the sculpted bodysuit’s full torso detailing, with sharp chevron-shaped panel lines tapering from the shoulders down through the midsection and a pronounced collar ring around the neck peg. Flipping to the back, you can see a matching set of angular grooves carved into the shoulder blades and upper back, proving the sculpt work holds up just as well underneath all that removable gear.

Tri Klops MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 24

Comparisons

All five versions of Tri-Klops lined up, from the Cartoon Collection on the far left through Origins, the 2026 movie figure, the mini comic exclusive, and the 200x on the right, really lets you appreciate how each iteration interprets the same character across wildly different design eras. The movie version anchors the center with his heavy tactical build, while the flanking figures range from bright green and pink to muted earth tones, showing just how much visual ground the character has covered over the years.

Tri Klops MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 19

Mr. Home Arcade set up a fun comparison between the classic MOTU Origins Tri-Klops and the 2026 movie version, and you can immediately see how different the design philosophies are, from the vintage bare-chested warrior look to the fully armored tactical build.

Tri Klops MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 9

The Cartoon Collection Tri-Klops brings a completely different vibe with his bright green helmet, exposed muscular build, and studded Roman-style skirt, and swapping his green chest shield onto the movie body creates a striking hybrid that blends classic fantasy with tactical armor. You can see how the Cartoon Collection’s broader color palette and vintage proportions contrast sharply with the movie version’s darker, more grounded camouflage pants and segmented limb armor.

Tri Klops MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 12

Placed side by side, the 200x Cartoon Collection version and the movie Tri Klops really highlight how much bulkier and more heavily armored the film design is, with its layered shoulder plates and ribbed tubing versus the 200x figure’s sleeker, more exposed physique. The 200x version’s gray and copper armor sits cleanly on the movie body, and you can see the wider belt buckle and studded skirt panels integrate surprisingly well with the darker lower half.

Tri Klops MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 13

The mini comic Tri-Klops exclusive pairs well here with the movie version, and swapping over that gray chest armor with its silver center buckle and coiled tubing creates yet another clean hybrid that leans into a more muted, mercenary aesthetic. Mr. Home Arcade keeps finding new parts swap combinations that work, and the mini comic figure’s yellow headband and bare skin tone make for a stark contrast against the movie build’s fully covered, tactical silhouette.

Tri Klops MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 14

Wundar’s armor swapped onto the movie Tri Klops body sells the marksman look perfectly, with the gray shoulder plates and studded skirt pairing naturally with that long sniper rifle. The shaggy brown hair and gritted expression complete the rugged soldier aesthetic, making this one of the most convincing parts swap combos Mr. Home Arcade has put together.

Tri Klops MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 15

Tri Klops teams up with Beast Man for a good old-fashioned ambush on He-Man, with that fuzzy red mane and fanged snarl making Beast Man an imposing partner in crime. The sword tucked at Beast Man’s hip and the whip trailing along the ground add nice detail to the scene, while He-Man squares up with fists raised, ready to take them both on…or is he surrendering?

Tri Klops MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 2

Tri Klops fits right in alongside Spikor and Beast Man as part of the Evil Warriors lineup, with each figure bringing a completely different silhouette, from Spikor’s spiked crystalline body to Beast Man’s fur collar and bare-chested brute frame. I love the way Mr. Home Arcade grouped them to show how the movie designs maintain distinct visual identities while still feeling like they belong on the same team.

I picked up this MOTU Origins Movie Roboto a little while back after he surfaced on eBay with zero announcement I couldn’t pass him up. The figure showed up completely unannounced, no solicitation, no press images, nothing, so when listings started popping up, I jumped on one even knowing the markup was steep. Getting him in hand, the first thing I noticed is how the sculpt balances the classic Roboto design cues with what appears to be a movie-influenced aesthetic. The chest cavity still has that signature transparent torso element that’s been a hallmark of the character since the vintage line, but the overall proportions and surface detailing lean into something more cinematic. He comes with removable hands and a swappable blaster attachment for the arm, which is a nice nod to his original action feature without overcomplicating things at this scale. For a figure that technically doesn’t officially exist yet in Mattel’s marketing, the paint apps and plastic quality feel consistent with what we’ve been seeing from the Origins Movie line so far. Roboto has always been one of those characters who gets overlooked in roster discussions, but he’s had a solid presence across Classics and Origins already, so seeing him get a movie treatment is a welcome surprise. If you’re hunting for him, listings are still floating around on eBay if you want to grab one before any official release details surface.

Packaging

The front of the packaging shows just how massive Roboto is, filling the entire blister window from edge to edge with barely any room to spare. On the back, the artwork by Francisco Etchart is absolutely stellar, depicting Roboto in a dramatic battle scene with rich reds and deep blues that really sell the sci-fi tone of the 2026 movie design.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 17

The side panel artwork is what really gets me excited here, because it features the Skel-Knights, these armored skeletal warriors that look absolutely menacing and would make incredible MOTU Origins movie figures if they ever get produced. The front card art carries that same dark, moody sci-fi aesthetic with a close-up of Roboto’s helmet and torso rendered in deep purples and cool blues.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 18

The bottom of the box gives you the UPC barcode so you can scan it in stores if you’re hunting this one down, since Roboto showed up without any official announcement and has only been spotted through secondary market sellers so far. You can also see it lists the contents as one figure and one accessory, which lines up with that swappable blaster attachment.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 1

The collectible card front features a gorgeous close-up of Roboto’s helmet and blue shoulder armor set against a fiery orange and purple backdrop, while the back shows a towering mechanical figure amid castle ruins with the bio reading: “Roboto thought her battling days were over, but the heroic mechanical warrior has another shot at adventure when Prince Adam returns to Eternia with the Power Sword. Roboto’s epic skills are unleashed, blasting through Skeletor’s evil forces!” It’s a nice inclusion, but honestly, this is yet another missed opportunity to include a mini comic with the figure, for shame Mattel!

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 21

Here’s the included instruction sheet showing exactly which parts on Roboto are removable and swappable, with each one clearly called out by a dot indicator pointing to the shoulders, forearms, hands, and that blaster attachment. I love that they went this detailed with the diagram, because you can see just how many pieces are designed to pop off and interchange, giving you a lot of options to customize the look.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 2

Figure Details

Here’s a full front and back look at Roboto, and I love how the red mouthguard on the helmet pays homage to the vintage Roboto design, sitting just below that narrow blue visor and giving the head sculpt a familiar nod that longtime fans will immediately recognize. From the back, you can see the large, angular armor plating on the upper back with those faceted, geometric shapes that flow into the shoulder joints, plus the clear chest panel revealing the mechanical internals from the rear as well.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 19

From the side, you can really appreciate how the blue forearm armor has a smooth, rounded profile that tapers down toward the wrist, contrasting with the angular, faceted shapes on the upper shoulder pads. The knee area shows off those segmented gray guard plates wrapping around the joint, and you can see how the dark inner framework of the legs is visible between the armored sections, giving the whole build a layered, mechanical depth.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 20

Here is the blaster arm attachment that comes packed with Roboto, and you can really appreciate the compact, stocky proportions of the weapon with its squared-off barrel section and the wraparound blue housing that locks it into the forearm socket. The sculpted panel lines and recessed geometric shapes running along the barrel give it a utilitarian, no-nonsense military feel that fits right in with the rest of the armored design.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 12

You can see how swapping between the standard hand and the blaster attachment completely changes Roboto’s proportions, with the bare hand giving a more balanced, symmetrical look while the blaster adds serious asymmetrical bulk to one side. I like that both configurations work equally well, because the forearm sockets accept either piece cleanly, so you’re free to mix things up depending on whether you want a stripped-down or heavily armed display.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 23

Here’s an up close look at the inner workings of Roboto, and you can really appreciate the intricate sculpted gears, pistons, and mechanical details packed inside the torso beneath that clear chest armor. The blue shoulder armor and upper arms frame the whole assembly nicely, with rivets and panel lines molded into the surrounding pieces to keep everything feeling cohesive.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 5

The blaster attachment has a great chunky, multi-barreled design with deep sculpted recesses that give it real mechanical weight, and it integrates seamlessly into the forearm socket. I love how the narrow blue visor on the helmet pops against all that black and red framing, giving Roboto such a rad, intimidating look up close.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 11

You can see the open sockets on the shoulders where the rocket launchers normally plug in, and those connection points are clean and well-integrated into the surrounding blue armor. The chest panel reveals all those sculpted gears and mechanical innards underneath, with tiny pistons, circular housings, and layered machinery filling every square inch of the torso cavity.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 14

Here’s a great front and back comparison of Roboto’s legs, and you can see how the thigh armor has these layered, segmented panels with horizontal vent-like grooves sculpted into the kneecaps. The feet have a really cool split-toe, almost claw-like design in dark gray, and I love how the red accents peek through at the knee joints from the back view, breaking up that deep blue and black color scheme just enough to add visual interest.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 22

The claw arm attachment has a really cool pincer design with two curved prongs that taper to sharp points, and the sculpted at the base gives it a believable, functional look. You can see how the gray tone on the claw contrasts nicely against all that blue armor, making it feel like a distinct tool rather than just another piece of the suit.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 3

Here’s a closer look at what’s underneath once you remove that back blue armor piece where the rocket launchers attach, and the mechanical detailing on the inner torso is seriously impressive, with sculpted circular housings, recessed panel lines, and layered machinery covering the entire back section. The contrast between the matte black mechanical internals and the clear lower chest panel really lets you appreciate how much work went into engineering parts of Roboto you’d normally never even see.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 4

Here’s a great up close shot of the shoulder-mounted rocket launchers, and I love how each one has a rectangular, multi-port face with four sculpted barrel openings that give them a serious industrial look. The lower jaw section on the helmet is such a nice homage to the vintage Roboto design, with that jagged, segmented edge along the red chin guard that echoes the original toy’s open-jaw aesthetic.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 6

You can see how the clear armor wraps all the way from the front around to the back of the torso, forming one continuous shell that encases the entire midsection and lets those sculpted mechanical internals stay visible from every angle. The segmented ribbing molded into the lower section adds a nice structural texture, and I love how the blue chest plate sits right on top, locking the whole assembly together where it meets the shoulder joints.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 7

Here’s a close look at the removable rocket launchers from underneath, and you can see the hollow, recessed interiors with small peg ports sculpted inside each housing that lock them into those open shoulder sockets we saw earlier. The angled, wedge-shaped profile of each launcher is much more apparent once they’re off the figure, with flat faceted surfaces and sharp geometric edges that give them a real industrial, modular feel.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 13

The blaster arm attachment has a real heft to it when you look at it from this angle, with that cylindrical mid-section feeding into the squared-off barrel housing up top.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 15

I love how all of the MOTU Origins Movie figures look together, and you can really see how each one has its own distinct visual identity, from Roboto’s massive blue and silver armored frame to the wild purple spikes on Spikor and the furry red collar on Beast Man. He-Man’s classic tan and brown look grounds the whole group, and the sheer size difference between Roboto and the rest of the crew is something you don’t fully appreciate until you see them side by side like this.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 10

Here’s a great size comparison between Roboto and He-Man that really shows off just how much larger that movie design is, towering over him with those thick, heavily armored legs and massive shoulder pads. The blaster arm attachment that comes packed with the figure has a broad, angular shape with multiple sculpted barrel openings, and you can see how it replaces the standard forearm to give a completely different silhouette on that side.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 8

The size difference between Roboto and Spikor is wild when you see them next to each other, and with the shoulder-mounted rocket launchers removed, you get a much cleaner look at those open shoulder sockets and how the blue armor panels sit on the upper body without the extra bulk. That spiked flail accessory on Spikor is a nasty piece of work, with a chain linking the handle to a heavily textured wrecking ball covered in sharp, tapered spikes.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 9

Here’s how Roboto compares to Beast Man, and I love how flexible the claw attachment is, because you can manipulate it around his arm easily, bending and repositioning those curved prongs without any resistance. The contrast between Beast Man’s organic, muscular sculpt with that furry red collar and Roboto’s full mechanical armor really highlights how much variety Mattel packed into this movie line.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 16

MOTU Core Comparison

Roboto’s size difference really jumps out here, with the MOTU Origins movie version towering over the MOTU Core Combat Ready Roboto while carrying a much bulkier frame through the shoulders, forearms, and lower legs. The Core figure on the left keeps a more compact build and shows off the action feature gimmick with the oversized cannon arm and clear chest panel, while the larger Origins release expands on that same design language with wider armor plating, clawed hands, larger feet, and a more detailed transparent torso section exposing the internal mechanical sculpt. I like seeing both styles side by side because it really highlights how the movie-inspired line is scaling these characters up while still keeping recognizable design elements between the two versions.

Roboto MOTU Origins 2026 Movie Figure Review 24

The rear comparison gives a much better look at how differently these two Roboto figures are engineered, especially through the back panels and torso construction. The MOTU Origins movie version uses layered translucent panels wrapping around the torso to show off more internal tubing and mechanical detailing underneath the armor shell. The larger figure also carries much heavier shoulder armor, segmented back plating, and a more complex leg design with thicker joints and larger clawed feet. I really like how the movie version feels almost exo-suit inspired from behind, while the smaller Core figure leans harder into the classic toy gimmick look.

Fresh in from Mr. Home Arcade, who has come through once again providing the best detailed view of this figure! Check out his YouTube review as it will give us an excellent look at the Man-At-Arms MOTU Origins movie figure, and there’s a lot to unpack here for collectors following the Masters of the Universe movie line. The sculpt work on Duncan carries a distinct cinematic design language that separates him from his vintage and Classics counterparts, with armor detailing and proportions that lean into the film’s aesthetic. From what I can see in these images pulled from his coverage, the headsculpt does a solid job capturing that grizzled warrior look, and the armor has some nice layered texturing that photographs well. The accessories appear to round out the package nicely, giving collectors some solid display options right out of the box. I appreciate how Mr. Home Arcade always takes the time to show every angle and give us a thorough breakdown, because with movie figures like this, the details in the paint apps and sculpt accuracy really matter when you’re deciding whether to pull the trigger. Whether you’ve been all in on the Origins movie figures or you’re still on the fence about this wave, these images should help you make that call. Scroll through below and see what you think of Duncan’s big screen look for yourself.

Packaging

The front card artwork shows a fiery explosion of red and orange behind the classic Masters of the Universe logo, while the back features stunning painted art by the talented @fetch.franciscoetchart depicting Man-At-Arms in heavy armor with his mace raised against a volcanic Eternian landscape. Mr. Home Arcade gives a great look at both sides of the packaging here, letting you appreciate how that back panel illustration really sells the character’s rugged, battle-worn design.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 28

You don’t usually see this on figures in the States, but Australian Targets place security stickers right on the back of the card. At least it landed on the legal fine print instead of over that gorgeous back panel artwork, so that’s a win.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 1

Mr. Home Arcade grabbed a close-up of the UPC barcode for you, so if you’re hunting for Man-At-Arms at retail, the number to look for is 194735350858. The assortment code JKJ35 and individual item number JKJ38 are also visible just above, which can help when checking store inventory systems.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 2

The included instruction sheet maps out all the removable and swappable parts on Man-At-Arms, with dots marking the helmet, shoulder armor, gauntlets, belt, and knee guards as separate pieces. It’s a nice confirmation of just how modular the design is, giving you a clear breakdown of every component you can pop off and interchange.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 3

Figure Details

The front view gives you a full read on how those layered armor pieces stack up, with the oversized gauntlet on one forearm sitting noticeably bulkier than the slimmer wrist guard on the other, creating an asymmetrical loadout that keeps the design from feeling too uniform. From the back, the copper plate covers the torso almost completely with only the green bodysuit peeking through at the joints and waist, and you can spot the mace clipped snugly to the thigh holster on the rear view as well.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 29

These side-by-side profile views really drive home how asymmetrical the armor design is, with the left side showing a smooth, rounded shoulder cap and a flush thigh plate while the right side features a bulkier shoulder piece with a sculpted circular port and a much larger, boxier hip guard that juts outward. Mr. Home Arcade nailed the framing here, letting you compare both profiles at a glance so the deliberate mismatch in armor coverage and shape between each side is impossible to miss.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 30

You get two alternate angles on those painted-on gloves here, and the fist grip really emphasizes how the darker shading pools into the valleys between each knuckle while the raised areas stay lighter, creating a convincing worn-leather effect through paint alone. The sculpted finger joints are tight and clean on both views, with each digit curling naturally into the palm.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 33

The helmet’s angular geometry really comes through from this profile view, with flat faceted planes meeting at sharp edges rather than following a smooth dome shape. You can also pick up the small rectangular vents and ports sculpted into the side panels, functional little details that reinforce that military-tech design language.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 4

Man-At-Arms leads a squad of Eternian Palace Guards, and the difference in armor tone immediately sets him apart, his copper-gold plating running noticeably darker than the bright orange worn by the troops flanking him. I love the way Mr. Home Arcade staged this formation to highlight that visual hierarchy, making it instantly clear who’s in command without needing a single word of context.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 11

Here’s the full parts breakdown laid out piece by piece: the chest armor, helmet, two gauntlets, a shield-shaped knee guard, the ammo belt, the mace, and the blaster, all removable and spread out so you can see every sculpted ridge and contour on each component. The mace features a ribbed shaft capped with a bulbous head, while the compact blaster has a boxy look that keeps it proportional to the figure’s grip.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 15

The mace’s spherical head has a visible seam line wrapping around its equator and circular rivets pressed into the surface, while the grip section features stacked, segmented rings that taper down to a flared pommel. Mr. Home Arcade pulled in tight on the blaster too, revealing carved groove lines running along its barrel and a post rising from the top.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 16

Stripped of every piece of armor, Man-At-Arms reveals the lean olive green bodysuit underneath, and you can see how the bare buck still carries sculpted muscle definition across the chest, abs, and thighs without any of the copper plating doing the heavy lifting. The brown boots and dark skin tone on the exposed forearms and hands are all that break up the green, giving you a clear sense of just how much visual weight those removable components were adding to the overall silhouette.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 34

Love the way Mr. Home Arcade posed Man-At-Arms here, fist clenched forward and mace raised high, pure “come get some” energy. The copper-toned armor layered over that olive green bodysuit creates a great contrast, and you can see how the sculpted detail on the chest plate and shoulder guards gives him a real chunky, armored silhouette with the holstered pistol on his hip completing the look.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 7

You can see how the mace clips securely to the thigh armor while the blaster stays gripped and ready, so nothing gets lost on the shelf. That built-in storage is a smart design choice, keeping every included piece attached to the figure at all times.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 8

From the back, Man-At-Arms looks just as good with that blaster drawn, and you can really appreciate the sculpted panel lines and riveted texture running across the rear of the chest armor. The knee guards and shin plating wrap around cleanly from every angle, proving there’s no skimping on detail where it counts.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 9

The blue helmet really pops against his darker skin tone, and you can make out the mustache and focused expression on that face sculpt from this distance. His blaster is extended outward with the mace dangling from the opposite hip, giving you a full read on how the belt hardware and holster details tie the whole midsection together.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 10

The thigh armor ports are sculpted with recessed square borders framing each peg hole, giving them a deliberate, engineered look rather than just a plain circular opening. You can also see a cross-shaped groove etched into the face of the right plate surrounding its port, a detail that differentiates it from the smoother left side and helps you instantly tell which weapon mounts where.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 31

The blaster tucks firmly into the sculpted holster port on the left thigh, with the grip angled outward for a quick draw, while the right side shows the mace’s ribbed shaft sliding through a loop built into the armor plate so it hangs vertically against the leg. Both ports are purpose-molded into the thigh guards themselves rather than generic pegs, so each weapon only fits its designated side.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 32

Mr. Home Arcade custom-drilled small holes into both the wrist gauntlet and the blaster to fit those blast effects, so don’t mistake this for a stock feature, it’s a clever modification that doesn’t come standard out of the package. The fiery spike jutting from the gauntlet and the muzzle flash on the blaster sell the “weapons hot” look perfectly, and it’s a testament to how well the sculpted armor lends itself to creative customization.

Man-At-Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 35

The back chest armor’s sculpted surface is packed with recessed rectangular vents, raised spine ridges running down the center, and oval port holes flanking each side that give it a utilitarian, mechanical feel you wouldn’t fully appreciate at shelf distance. That central column of stacked rectangular segments acts like a reinforced spine brace, tying the upper shoulder plates to the lower torso wrap in one continuous structural line.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 18

Parts Swapping and Figure Fun

Here’s a fun bonus from Mr. Home Arcade, swapping the Man-At-Arms armor onto Wundar from MOTU Origins, and the result is surprisingly cohesive. The copper chest plate, oversized gauntlet, and ammo belt all fit that muscular buck cleanly, and paired with Wundar’s brown boots and shaggy hair sculpt, he looks like a scrappy Eternian mercenary who raided the armory.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 17

All three versions of Man-At-Arms lined up for a clean height and style comparison, with the Lords of Power on the left, the movie figure in the center, and MOTU Origins v1 on the right. The movie version stands slightly taller with a leaner, more military-proportioned build, while the two flanking figures share that classic stocky buck with thicker limbs and broader torsos, making the design philosophy behind each release immediately obvious.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 26

The Lords of Power Man-At-Arms and the movie version share enough common design DNA that swapping parts between them works surprisingly well, with the copper armor pieces sitting naturally on the green buck of the classic figure. You can see how the movie helmet, chest plate, and gauntlets integrate cleanly with the vintage-styled body, while the Lords of Power version rocks a distinctly brighter orange loadout that gives both figures their own identity even when mixed and matched.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 19

From the back, you can see how cleanly the parts swap works between these two, with the movie figure on the right now wearing the Lords of Power chest armor and helmet while the Lords of Power version on the left rocks the movie’s orange backplate and blue helmet. The rivet patterns and panel lines on the copper movie armor contrast sharply against the smoother, flatter surfaces of the Lords of Power gear, making it easy to tell which parts belong to which figure even from behind.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 20

The 200x Man-At-Arms on the left brings the most exaggerated proportions of the three, with wider shoulders and a heavier overall frame, while the Cartoon Collection version on the right leans into that Filmation simplicity with smoother, less detailed armor surfaces. The movie figure splits the difference nicely in the center, carrying more intricate sculpted armor detailing than either companion without going as broad or stylized in build.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 27

The original MOTU Origins Man-At-Arms makes for a natural parts-swap partner, and you can see how the movie armor sits on that bright green buck with the copper shoulder guards and gauntlets scaling perfectly against the classic figure’s proportions. His vintage light blue helmet and mustached scowl paired with the movie chest plate create a fun hybrid that splits the difference between retro and cinematic.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 21

Swapping parts with the Cartoon Collection Man-At-Arms reveals how well the movie armor translates across different bucks, and without the blaster or mace cluttering the frame, you get a much clearer look at that Idris Elba likeness on the left, the brow, nose bridge, and jawline all coming through stronger with the helmet pulled back slightly. The Cartoon Collection version on the right sports a noticeably different face sculpt with a thick mustache and angrier expression, making this a great side-by-side to see just how distinct each take on the character really is.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 22

Man-At-Arms and He-Man paired up close really shows how well their color palettes complement each other, the copper and olive armor against He-Man’s silver chest piece and brown leather creating a cohesive Eternian aesthetic without looking too matchy.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 14

He-Man and Man-At-Arms stand shoulder to shoulder with Battle Cat stripped of all his armor, fangs bared and green-striped fur fully exposed, so you might as well call him Cringer here. Mr. Home Arcade lined up the movie heroic warriors together for this group shot, and without Battle Cat’s usual saddle and helmet, the raw sculpt work on that massive feline body really gets its moment.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 25

Man-At-Arms towers over a downed Movie Spikor, gripping him by the throat with that oversized gauntlet while the purple beast’s spiked armor and clawed feet splay out across the ground. Movie He-Man and MOTU Origins He-Man flank the scene like a pair of bouncers who didn’t even need to step in, and Mr. Home Arcade staged the whole thing perfectly to make Duncan the undisputed star of the moment.

Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie Figure Review 23

Man-At-Arms is also keeping Movie Beast Man in check here, driving a fist into that wild red-maned head sculpt while He-Man and Man-At-Arms back him up like they’re just waiting for the next one to try something. Beast Man’s massive clawed feet and textured fur collar sell the sheer size of the brute, making it all the more satisfying to see Duncan dropping him to his knees.

I finally got Ultra Magnus in hand and this figure has always held a special place in the Transformers mythos for me, going all the way back to his introduction during the Scramble City er, which predated his role in the 1986 movie. The Missing Link line has been doing something really special by reimagining these G1 figures as they could have been with modern engineering, and this C-10 release is where everything finally clicks for the concept. You get the white Optimus Prime inner robot based on the C-01 mold with new parts engineered for the combination with the carrier unit, and the partially die-cast construction gives him that satisfying heft that takes you right back to the original toys. What really gives this release some real weight is the inclusion of the Powered Buggy, now reimagined as a fully transforming figure called Deer Stalker, pulled from Diaclone history and given new life under a “what if” scenario that is going to resonate with collectors who know that pre-Transformers lineage. The restored Protector Machine chest piece with its wheels intact, the multiple base configurations for the carrier, and the ability to load up other Missing Link vehicles all make this one I am really glad to have in the collection. Huge thanks to Big Bad Toy Store for sending this Ultra Magnus Transformers Missing Link over for review, and if he has been on your must have list, you can still grab him now at Big Bad Toy Store.

Packaging

The front of the box is a real treat for any G1 fan, with that classic grid-pattern artwork showing Ultra Magnus in full robot mode alongside the white cab truck, all framed by bold red and yellow borders that scream 1980s Takara packaging. I love how the art captures that vintage Scramble City era aesthetic, with the Japanese text and C-10 designation giving it an authenticity you just don’t get from domestic releases.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 2

The back of the box is packed with Japanese text and step-by-step transformation photos showing the carrier unit converting into its various base modes, from the launch catapult to the command base and maintenance base configurations. You can also spot the inset photo of the Deer Stalker buggy, plus that bottom strip featuring the full character tech spec readout with stat bars and bio information.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 1

Here’s a great look at both sides of the box, and you can see how the artwork highlights the full range of poses Ultra Magnus can achieve, with the robot mode shown in several stances that show off the joint movement at the shoulders, elbows, and legs. The classic red grid pattern wrapping around each panel ties it all together, giving the box that unmistakable vintage Takara feel from every angle.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 19

I love the classic styrofoam tray here, with Ultra Magnus nestled securely in truck mode alongside the carrier unit, and you can see the full spread of extras laid out below: instructions, sticker sheet, red decoder card, and a collectible card featuring that gorgeous Cybertron vs Destron artwork. It’s a thorough package that really nails the vintage Takara unboxing experience.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 5

The Deer Stalker box has a wonderfully retro Japanese toy design, with the front showing both the buggy vehicle mode and the transformed robot mode connected by a bold “CHANGE” graphic. The peach, red, and light blue color scheme with Japanese katakana text gives it that unmistakable Diaclone-era charm.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 8

The back of the Deer Stalker box features a detailed tech spec readout with the character’s stat bars charted in a crosshatched red graph, alongside a Japanese bio section listing the role, abilities, and personality traits. I love how this mirrors the classic Transformers tech spec format, giving this little bonus figure the same full character treatment as the main release.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 3

Here’s the full accessory breakdown laid out, and you get a real sense of how much comes with this release: the blue carrier components, white conversion parts, red missile sprue, Deer Stalker buggy, mini figure, and that Matrix piece all accounted for. I especially like seeing the missiles still on their sprue alongside those chunky carrier weapons and the twin tower sections that frame the trailer’s gantry in vehicle mode.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 6

The outer box keeps things clean and minimal, with bold white text against a solid black background and none of the colorful vintage artwork found on the inner packaging. It’s a straightforward sleeve designed to protect what’s inside, letting the C-10 designation and Missing Link branding do all the talking.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 15

The back of the outer box is about as straightforward as it gets, with white text and legal information laid out against a flat black background and no artwork or imagery to speak of. It’s a no-frills protective sleeve that lets the inner packaging be the real showpiece.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 14

Figure Details

The cab and carrier unit together make for an impressive rig, with the white die-cast cab pulling that massive blue and red trailer that stretches well behind it. I love how the carrier’s twin blue towers frame the overhead gantry, and you can see all the sculpted mechanical detail running along the red flatbed section connecting everything together.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 4

Here’s a look at the underside of the carrier unit, where you can see the white snap-in piece that bridges the gap between the trailer and the cab’s hitch point. It’s a straightforward but essential connector, with molded panel lines and a rounded peg socket that locks everything together so the white cab can actually tow the full rig.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 7

Looking at the rig from the rear, you can really appreciate how the carrier’s twin blue towers rise up and frame that overhead gantry, with the white cab peeking out just beyond the red flatbed section. The sculpted vents and panel lines running across the back of the carrier give it a real industrial weight that pairs nicely with the compact proportions of the die-cast cab up front.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 9

The chest protector in its Protector Machine form makes for a surprisingly convincing Cybertronian vehicle, with the head unit seated on top acting as a cockpit canopy while the mini figure nestles right into the driver’s position behind it. I love how the flanking armor panels sweep forward like wings, giving the whole thing a sci-fi speeder silhouette that feels right at home in the Transformers universe.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 10

Ultra Magnus is fully loaded here, with the missiles attached, the Deer Stalker buggy riding on top of the carrier, and the Protector Machine tucked into the trailer bed as a Cybertronian vehicle. It’s great to see every component integrated into one cohesive vehicle mode, turning the rig into a rolling arsenal that makes the most of everything included in the box.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 11

Here’s a full 360 look at Ultra Magnus in combined robot mode, and the front view really sells the proportions with those massive blue shoulder blocks framing the red chest and white waist section. The rear view reveals all the carrier engineering tucked behind him, with chrome connector rods, folded vehicle panels, and the exposed internal framework that keeps the outer armor locked onto the white Optimus Prime buck underneath.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 23

The side views really highlight how the carrier armor adds bulk to Ultra Magnus, with those massive blue shoulder blocks and forearm panels projecting forward while the red midsection creates a clean break between the upper and lower body. You can also see how the folded vehicle panels and chrome connector rods stack along the back, keeping the profile surprisingly tight for a figure with this much armor layered over the inner robot.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 24

The front and back views really show off how much articulation they packed into the white Optimus Prime buck, with the arms, elbows, and knees all clearly bent into a natural stance that you wouldn’t expect from a figure rooted in G1 engineering. You can also see how the die-cast lower legs and chrome elements on the shins carry through from front to back, while the rear view reveals all the vehicle mode kibble neatly tucked along the shoulders and spine.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 20

The articulation on the white Optimus Prime buck really shines here, with the arms posed wide and the hands gripping the Matrix right at chest level in a natural, convincing way. You can see how the shoulder, elbow, and wrist joints all work together to sell the moment, and that chrome Matrix housing looks fantastic cradled between those die-cast hands.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 17

The cab folds down to reveal the chest cavity, and you can see exactly where the Matrix slots into that chrome housing surrounded by sculpted mechanical detailing. I love how the white Optimus Prime buck looks with everything opened up like this, the die-cast chest panels framing that central compartment perfectly.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 18

The Deer Stalker is a compact little figure with a surprisingly clean robot mode, and you can see the sculpted panel lines and vents across the torso that give it a lot more surface detail than you’d expect at this size. From the back, the buggy shell folds up neatly against the spine and lower legs, keeping the vehicle kibble tight and organized rather than just hanging off the frame.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 21

Here’s a close look at the connectors that lock the white Optimus Prime buck into the carrier armor, with two articulated connectors on the lower legs and two chrome-accented connectors on the upper legs that keep everything secure during posing. The lower leg connectors are a little finicky to work with, but they do allow Ultra Magnus to hold articulated poses without the inner figure shifting loose from the outer armor.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 22

You can see the chrome Matrix housing in the center flanked by sculpted mechanical detail on every surface, making this feel like a legitimate standalone craft rather than just a robot chest plate.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 13

You can really appreciate the scale of the Matrix when you see that mini figure standing right beside it, barely reaching the top of the chrome housing. The sculpted detail on the Matrix itself is impressive, with layered mechanical ridges surrounding the central gem.

Ultra Magnus C 10 Transformers Missing Link Review 12

Here’s a great close up of the blaster, and you can see the layered barrel detail with its dual-tube design and all those tiny molded panel lines running along the length of the weapon. The grip fits snugly in his hands, and I love how the sculpted ridges along the stock give it a chunky, satisfying military hardware feel that suits Ultra Magnus perfectly.

Thanks to my good friend Jason, who scored him from the Mattel Store in El Segundo, CA, I finally got Combat Ready Roboto in hand and I had to open him immediately. Roboto has always been one of those characters that sits in a really interesting space in the MOTU lore, a heroic mechanical warrior whose loyalty to the Masters is matched only by how visually striking he is as a figure. Seeing him get the movie treatment through the Core line is one of those moments for anyone who remembers hunting down the vintage original or appreciated what Classics did with the character years ago. Unlike previous figures, Roboto takes on his onscreen appearance from the Masters of the Universe 2026 movie and has a twist-and-release battle action feature that gives him a quick draw motion and the whole gimmick comes together really well. It is a simple but satisfying play feature that adds some personality to the figure beyond just sitting on a shelf. The sculpt carries a lot of the movie design language, and at the Core price point, the value here is solid. I have always had a soft spot for the mechanical members of the Masters roster, and this one is one I am really glad to have in the collection. If you have been eyeing this one, you can grab Combat Ready Roboto now over at Amazon, BBTS, or EE.

Packaging

The front of Roboto’s packaging features bold artwork with He-Man and Skeletor flanking the card, and the back showcases Eternia’s desert landscape with Castle Grayskull looming in the distance. I love that the open-tray design lets you try out the twist-and-release action feature right on the shelf before even committing to opening it.

Combat Ready Roboto MOTU Core Figure Review 6

Figure Details

Here’s a full front-and-back comparison, and I have to say, Combat Ready Roboto carries a design language that feels like it walked right off a Star Wars set, with those heavy layered armor panels, the recessed cockpit-style head, and the clear chest window giving him a real droid-meets-mech aesthetic. The back reveals just how much mechanical sculpting continues where you can’t normally see it, with exposed gears near the shoulder blades and ridged panel lines running down the spine and into the legs.

Combat Ready Roboto MOTU Core Figure Review 7

From the side, you really get a sense of how much depth the armor has, with those tiered thigh plates and the bulky calf guards stacking forward to create a heavy, industrial silhouette. The feet have a great three-pronged claw design with roller elements tucked underneath, giving the lower half a mechanical weight that balances out the massive upper body.

Combat Ready Roboto MOTU Core Figure Review 8

I love how Roboto’s face has more personality than you’d expect, with that narrow visor slit and the red chin section breaking up the recessed head sculpt. The chest cavity is packed with sculpted mechanical detail under a clear plastic cover, and you can see exposed machinery in the gaps where the arms attach to the torso, flanked by those shoulder-mounted rocket launchers.

Combat Ready Roboto MOTU Core Figure Review 3

The figure has a heavy mechanical build with layered blue armor panels over gray internal joints, giving the lower torso and legs a more robotic construction. I really like how the close-up shows the segmented waist armor, exposed hip mechanics, rounded knee joint, silver thigh plates, and cannon-style forearm attachment, which all push that machine-like design forward.

Combat Ready Roboto MOTU Core Figure Review 4

Here’s a great look at the blaster arm and its twist-and-release action feature, where completing the rotation reveals a red-orange blast effect emerging from the barrel cluster. You can also appreciate the layered panel sculpting across that oversized forearm gauntlet, with deep recessed lines separating each armored section.

Combat Ready Roboto MOTU Core Figure Review 2

Even with the blast arm locked into its spring-loaded default, you can still get Roboto into some really expressive crouching poses thanks to how well the hips, knees, and ankles work together. The gray mechanical joints visible at every connection point contrast nicely against the blue armor plating, reinforcing that “machine under the shell” design throughout the whole figure.

Combat Ready Roboto MOTU Core Figure Review 5

Here’s a fun pairing with the Core Mekaneck, and as you can see, he’s just as tall as Roboto when those neck extensions are fully stretched out. The shared blue and red color scheme between the two makes them look great together on a shelf.

If you collect anything Mattel, this is one of those sales where the deals are genuinely worth your time and attention. Big Bad Toy Store is running a massive Mattel sale right now that spans Masters of the Universe, WWE, Jurassic World, and more, and we went through the entire selection to pull out our top 10 picks that we think represent the best value, the best figures, and the pieces that collectors really should not sleep on. Whether you’re shopping for yourself or looking for a gift for the collector in your life, Mattel’s brand portfolio runs deep and this sale covers a wide range of price points with discounts going as high as 80% off on some items. On the MOTU side alone, we’re talking everything from the jaw-dropping Masterverse Skeletor with the LED-lit Havoc Throne down to the New Eternia Flying Fists He-Man at an almost unbelievable $9.60, plus Origins gems like Necro-Conda and the Talon Fighter and Point Dread set that literally tops off Castle Grayskull. The WWE side of the list is just as strong, with Ultimate Edition figures of the Ultimate Warrior, Seth Rollins, and Razor Ramon all marked down, and I even squeezed in the WWE x Masters of the Universe Wave 8 set because that crossover line just got a major boost with the announcement at WWE World 2026 that Masters of the WWE Universe is making its return. We structured this list so that the first five entries get full mini-reviews with collector notes and personal context, while entries six through ten are curated sale highlights that we think deserve a spot in your cart. I’ve got personal ties to several of these picks, from attending WrestleMania 7 live where the Ultimate Warrior competed to having Seth Rollins firmly in my top five wrestlers of all time, so this list comes from a real place. Before we dive in, I wanted to send a massive thank you to Big Bad Toy Store for providing the first 5 figures to include for thier mini review spotlight! Let’s get into it.

#1 — Masters of the Universe Masterverse Skeletor with Havoc Throne

The Masters of the Universe Masterverse Skeletor with Havoc Throne is a premium 7-inch collectible featuring over 30 points of articulation and extensive customization options including a removable hood, head, hands, and chest armor, plus an Alcala-inspired articulated jaw head that captures the character’s iconic look. The set includes a cartoon-inspired throne as its centerpiece, which boasts LED-colored torches with six different flame color options, making it a display-worthy throne room worthy of the Lord of Destruction himself, and it comes loaded with accessories including a soft goods cape, alternate hands, and both Havoc and Snake staves. Grab Masters of the Universe Masterverse Skeletor with Havoc Throne at BBTS.

The Bone Throne is amazing and it has lighting effects and it comes with an Alcala version of Masterverse Skeletor so it has some history to it. The front of the box features a striking illustration of Skeletor seated on the Havoc Throne, with his green skull face glowing against deep purple armor and the massive bone structure looming behind him in rich, painted detail. The back panel showcases a coiling serpent with layered green scales wrapping around the box alongside the lore text describing the throne’s origins within Snake Mountain.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse Skeletor with Havoc Throne 6

The box panels here show off the side artwork, and I love how each one features a different cast of characters framed within that same dark stone temple setting with green flame braziers anchoring the foreground. One side depicts Evil-Lyn with Panthor and Screeech perched above her, while the other features Beast Man and Mer-Man lurking in the shadows.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse Skeletor with Havoc Throne 7

The front of the packaging gives you a clear look at Skeletor through the window alongside his accessories, while the back features that gorgeous throne illustration with him seated in full regal command, green flames licking up from the base. I love how the card art on the back captures the scale of the throne relative to the figure, with every bone spike and carved detail rendered in warm, muted tones that contrast sharply against his vivid skull face.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse Skeletor with Havoc Throne 8

The packaging artwork on the front panel shows Skeletor channeling green energy from his fists while standing in a dark stone chamber. The side panel features a close-up of his hooded skull face with glowing red eyes looming above a full-body illustration of him gripping the Snake staff, set against a vibrant purple and magenta backdrop.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse Skeletor with Havoc Throne 9

The front and back views together give you a full picture of the soft goods cape, which drapes cleanly from the shoulder armor and falls to about calf length with a nice natural hang to the fabric. From the back, you can really appreciate how the gold trim on the shoulder armor frames the cape’s attachment point, with each pauldron sporting a small gem-like detail close to the gold center of the chest armor.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse Skeletor with Havoc Throne 10

The Bone Throne comes in a separate box that will also double as dio so don’t toss it aside. The box art wraps the entire surface in cracked purple stone with twisted red tendrils snaking through the crevices, and a faint skull face is embedded into the top of the lid. It’s a really atmospheric presentation that sets the tone before you even open it.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse Skeletor with Havoc Throne 5

Here’s a side-by-side look at the Havoc Throne with the box I mentioned above empty versus with Skeletor seated, and you can really see how the fur-covered seat cushion fills the bone framework nicely on its own before the figure takes its place. The flame pieces flanking the base have a great sculpted wisp shape to them, with layered tendrils that taper to sharp points.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse Skeletor with Havoc Throne 11

Here’s a front and back comparison of the Havoc Throne without Skeletor, and from the rear you can really appreciate the full spine running down the center of the backrest, complete with individual vertebrae tapering down to a pelvis-shaped base where the seat connects.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse Skeletor with Havoc Throne 12

Here’s a closer look at the two staffs resting in their holders on the throne, and from this angle you can really see the full serpent body coiling around the base of the Snake staff with its hooded cobra head flaring outward. The ram skull on the Havoc staff sits noticeably higher, with its sweeping horns curving past the bone framework of the throne’s backrest to create a nice sense of layered depth.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse Skeletor with Havoc Throne 13

Here’s a great look at the top of the Havoc Throne on its own, and the sculpted bone framework is incredibly detailed with layered vertebrae, ribcages, and those sweeping claw-tipped arms radiating outward. The two staves sitting in their holders on either side create a nice visual balance, with the ram skull topper of the Havoc staff on one side and the serpent head of the Snake staff on the other.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse Skeletor with Havoc Throne 4

Here’s a look at all three LED color options side by side, and you can see how drastically each one changes the mood of the throne display, from the warm red on the left through green in the center to a cool blue on the right. It’s a great feature that lets you completely shift the feel of the setup depending on your shelf aesthetic.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse Skeletor with Havoc Throne 14

I finally got the MOTU Chronicles Skeletor and seated him on the on the Havoc Throne and he goes really well with it, with the massive bone structure rising up behind him and that horned skull crest towering overhead. The LED torches flanking the throne are set to green here, casting a glow across the base that works beautifully against the purple stone-textured platform and his blue skin.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse Skeletor with Havoc Throne 2

If you have a chance to pick up this figure, he looks soooooooo good!!!

Masters of the Universe Masterverse Skeletor with Havoc Throne 3

The stat block on the back lists his origin as “Parts Unknown” with the Gorilla Press Slam as his finisher, alongside a recap of his career-on-the-line clash with “Macho King” Randy Savage.

WWE Ultimate Edition 15 Ultimate Warrior (Wrestlemania 7) 5

Here’s a great look at everything you get inside the tray with the WWE Ultimate Edition 15 Ultimate Warrior (Wrestlemania 7 Ver.). The figure comes packed with an alternate head sculpt, pairs of grabbing and pointing hands, a fringed vest, and a coat featuring vivid artwork of the Warrior himself.

WWE Ultimate Edition 15 Ultimate Warrior (Wrestlemania 7) 1

The front and back views really show off the knee pads, each featuring a different printed portrait of the Warrior with sculpted fringe tassels hanging below them. On the back of the trunks, you get a bold sunburst graphic with a championship belt illustration and “Means Much More Than This” text, which is a fantastic detail that ties directly to the WrestleMania VII storyline.

WWE Ultimate Edition 15 Ultimate Warrior (Wrestlemania 7) 6

The coat artwork is absolutely loaded, with “WARRIOR” printed in bold lettering down each front panel and a massive illustrated portrait of the Warrior on the back surrounded by flames and splattered color. The pink boots with their sculpted fringe tassels and the matching wristbands tie the whole entrance look together, giving every part of the outfit that WrestleMania VII energy from head to toe.

WWE Ultimate Edition 15 Ultimate Warrior (Wrestlemania 7) 7

The vest is the real showpiece here, with its sculpted Warrior mask emblem at the center and blue and yellow fringe cascading down from the shoulder panels. I love the face paint detail on this head sculpt, with bold green, yellow, and pink markings framing the eyes and nose against the natural skin tone.

WWE Ultimate Edition 15 Ultimate Warrior (Wrestlemania 7) 3

From the back, you can really appreciate the sculpted musculature across the shoulders and lats, with every ridge and contour of that physique cleanly defined. The tassels on the coat drape naturally over both arms, and the hair sculpt has a great layered, flowing texture with individually carved strands.

WWE Ultimate Edition 15 Ultimate Warrior (Wrestlemania 7) 2

The alternate head sculpt has a completely different expression from the face-painted version, with a focused intensity and slightly parted lips that nail that classic Warrior entrance energy. You can see the striped wristbands with their sculpted fringe details up close here, and the vest sits nicely across the shoulders with its bold patterned fabric.

WWE Ultimate Edition 15 Ultimate Warrior (Wrestlemania 7) 4

Seth Rollins is in my top 5 wrestlers of all time. The front of the box features a clean white and red layout with Seth Rollins visible through the window alongside his alternate heads, swap hands, and that incredible coat. The back panel leans heavily on live-action photography, with a great entrance shot of Rollins rocking the full coat and fur, plus a mid-dive image from the ring that really captures the energy of the character.

WWE Ultimate Edition Greatest Hits Seth Rollins 4

Here’s a look at everything you get inside the tray with Seth Rollins. He comes packed with two alternate heads, one with a big grin and one mid-yell, plus three pairs of swap-out hands and that wild coat with its feathered collar and multicolored patchwork design.

WWE Ultimate Edition Greatest Hits Seth Rollins 1

Here’s your front and back look at Seth Rollins, and those black wrestling pants are covered in intersecting streaks of blue, yellow, orange, and pink that wrap all the way around. From the back, you can see textured patchwork panels on each side of the trunks area, adding a mosaic-like detail that you completely miss from the front.

WWE Ultimate Edition Greatest Hits Seth Rollins 5

The head sculpt on Seth Rollins is genuinely impressive up close, with that wide grin showing teeth and the beard sculpted with real texture and definition. I also love the chest hair detail, which is printed with fine individual strands that spread naturally across the torso.

WWE Ultimate Edition Greatest Hits Seth Rollins 2

The coat’s multicolored mosaic pattern is even more striking from the back, where you get a full uninterrupted view of just how much ground it covers from the hood all the way down past the knees. That fur trim wraps the entire collar and hood opening with real fiber material, giving the whole piece a layered, premium feel you don’t always get with soft goods at this scale.

WWE Ultimate Edition Greatest Hits Seth Rollins 6

That coat is something else in person, with the fur trim mixing dark and orange fibers that have real volume and texture along the sleeves and collar. The multicolored patchwork body of the coat picks up so many tones at once, and you can see how the open hands really sell the entrance pose.

#4 — Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Fisto

The Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Fisto Action Figure is a highly articulated 7-inch collectible featuring over 30 points of articulation and an impressive array of accessories including an alternate unhelmeted head, alternate hand, sword, and hammer, making it a substantial addition to any MOTU display. Grab Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Fisto Action Figure at BBTS.

I’ve always loved this version of Fisto with his alternates heads that call back to the MOTU Classics era. The front of the packaging features bold, fiery artwork with Fisto charging forward, his massive iron fist raised and ready to strike, set against a vivid orange and red Eternia landscape. The back panel showcases multiple close-up shots of the helmeted head sculpt and the oversized fist alongside a full-body illustration that emphasizes his armored chest harness and heavy build.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Fisto Action Figure 7

The side panel artwork is a real treat, featuring a vivid battle scene with a muscular warrior squaring off against a massive purple creature under a fiery orange sky with a looming dark sun. I love how the illustration wraps around the box, connecting the front and side panels into one continuous Eternia landscape.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Fisto Action Figure 8

Here’s a great look at Fisto from both the front and back, and you can really appreciate how the silver armor harness wraps all the way around the torso with consistent sculpted detail on every surface. The purple wrist cuffs on each forearm are a nice touch that echoes the purple chest piece underneath, while the fur-topped boot wraps add texture and visual weight to the lower legs.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Fisto Action Figure 9

Here’s a look at the full accessory spread laid out together: the alternate bearded head, hammer, sword, and an alternate hand. The swap hand has a nice curled grip that should work well for holding the sword’s knuckle-guard handle.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Fisto Action Figure 4

The sword has a long, curved blade with a slim profile that pairs nicely against all that heavy armor. I like the furrowed brow and full beard on the unhelmeted head, and how the brown hair frames the face with just enough volume to keep it from looking flat.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Fisto Action Figure 2

The back armor is loaded with sculpted detail, featuring riveted plates, raised studs, and recessed geometric line work across the shoulder harness. You can see how the sword sits snugly against the back, and the straps and buckles running down the torso add a layered, functional feel to the whole setup.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Fisto Action Figure 3

The oversized metal fist is the real showpiece here, covered in riveted plates and segmented armor panels that wrap around each knuckle with incredible precision. You can just make out the fur-trimmed gauntlet edge where it meets the forearm, and the matching riveted headband ties the whole armored aesthetic together.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Fisto Action Figure 5

Here is a full shot of Fisto wielding his massive weapon!

Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Fisto Action Figure 6

The hammer is a beast, with a massive multi-faceted head full of rivets, geometric panels, and layered segments that give it real weight and complexity. I love the sculpted leather wrap on the grip, and how the heavy armor on Fisto’s shoulder pauldron carries that same riveted detailing, tying the whole look together.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Fisto Action Figure 1

#5 — Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Flying Fists He-Man

The Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Flying Fists He-Man is a 7-inch highly articulated figure featuring over 30 points of movement, making it an impressive addition to any MOTU collection, and it arrives with multiple accessories including alternate gold hands, a shield, and the signature flying fist weapon that capture the character’s iconic combat style. Currently on sale at 60% off retail ($9.60 from $23.99), this plastic figure maintains the Masterverse line’s commitment to premium articulation and display quality while honoring the legacy of the original He-Man character that defined the Masters of the Universe franchise. Grab Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Flying Fists He-Man Action Figure at BBTS.

He’s alawys been a classic figure and the nods to the Central Tower in the Eternia playset on his shoulder armor is the chef’s kiss. The front of the box features vivid artwork of He-Man charging forward, with Two-Bad on the front of the box. The back panel showcases the full figure alongside multiple inset photos demonstrating the flying fist weapon and shield in different configurations, all set against an Eternian stone ruin illustration.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Flying Fists He Man 6

The side panel artwork shows a close-up portrait of He-Man with a determined expression, his blonde hair swept back against a stormy teal sky crackling with lightning. The wraparound illustration on the opposite panel places him in front of Eternia, with a pink-feathered Sorceress.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Flying Fists He Man 7

Here’s a great front and back look at Flying Fists He-Man, and the color palette really comes together nicely with the silver chest armor, gold shoulder guards, and that bold red “H” emblem on the front. The silver boots with gold knee guards give him a distinctly armored look from head to toe, and you can see the two clip slots on the back of the chest piece designed for mounting accessories.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Flying Fists He Man 8

I like how the gold bracers have those riveted studs running along their length, giving them a forged, heavy-metal quality that matches the gold belt and knee guards. The muscle sculpt on the arms and legs is seriously impressive from these side angles, with defined biceps, triceps, and quad separation carved throughout.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Flying Fists He Man 9

Here’s the full accessory spread for Flying Fists He-Man, and it’s a solid loadout. The flying fist weapon has a great mechanical feel with its angled arms, spiked tip, and weighted spheres at each joint, while the shield pairs silver armor plating with red striped accents across its curved surface.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Flying Fists He Man 1

The flying fist weapon has a great mechanical complexity up close, with its folding arms, central pivot, and that sharp spiked tip jutting out from the crossbar. You can also see how the gold bracer and chest armor tie together with the weighted spheres on the weapon, creating a cohesive look across the whole figure.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Flying Fists He Man 5

Here you get a nice comparison of the flying fist weapon and shield working together from two angles, and the sheer scale of both accessories relative to the figure is impressive. The lion head sculpt on the left shoulder armor has a great three-dimensional depth to it, with the mane flowing outward and blending naturally into the gold shoulder guard.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Flying Fists He Man 10

The shield is a substantial piece, with raised rivets dotting the gold surface and a silver cross-shaped bracket layered over the center. I love how the red striped panels at each arm of the bracket break up the metallic tones and give the whole thing a more layered, ornamental look.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Flying Fists He Man 2

From the back, you can see the red clip slot built into the armor, designed to hold the flying fist weapon securely between the shoulder blades. The sculpted gold shoulder pieces have a great layered, almost wing-like texture that wraps around and connects cleanly to the silver chest armor.

Masters of the Universe Masterverse New Eternia Flying Fists He Man 3

The flying fist weapon sits securely in the back clip, and from this angle you get a real appreciation for how chunky and mechanical it is, with those weighted spheres anchoring each arm of the frame. The fur loincloth has a nice textured sculpt with individually carved strands, and the red waist sash underneath adds a pop of color against the brown.

His cobra-like head has a bright green interior mouth, and he’s gripping a flame-shaped sword effect piece, with the included cloak and armor absent here to show off the full sculpt underneath.

The gold chain necklace sits around his neck, and the chest hair deco is nicely detailed across the torso, with that smirking head sculpt nailing the character’s cocky attitude.

Hot off the press as our good friend @masterversal_toyhunter came through with some great in-hand shots of the Trap Jaw Movie MOTU Origins Deluxe Exclusive, and this one is worth slowing down for. We’ve been watching the movie-inspired Origins figures roll out, and Trap Jaw has always been one of those characters where the design translation matters. From these images, Mattel appears to have nailed the balance between the classic Origins aesthetic and the new movie influence. The mechanical arm and jaw prosthetic look sharp, with a level of sculpt work that gives the figure real shelf presence even at this scale. The color palette feels like it pulls from the film’s grittier tone while still keeping that unmistakable MOTU energy collectors expect from the line. Accessories look solid too, with the interchangeable arm attachments that have always been core to any good Trap Jaw release. The packaging is the familiar Origins Deluxe window box, which is a nice touch for anyone who keeps these carded. As a Walmart exclusive, availability could be tricky depending on your area, so if you want to track one down, you can check current stock over at Walmart. Scroll through the images below and see how this one looks outside the box. You can also check out Masterversal ToyHunter’s YouTube review here!

Packaging

Here’s Trap Jaw out of the box with everything he comes with laid out, including the blade attachment, the hook already fitted to his mechanical arm, and the collector card. @masterversal_toyhunter framed this nicely to give you a full picture of the complete package contents alongside the card art.

Trap Jaw Movie MOTU Origins Deluxe Exclusive In Hand Images 1

The front card art features Trap Jaw leaping into action against a fiery Snake Mountain backdrop, and you can see how he fills the entire window with that bulky mechanical arm and armor taking up every inch of space. The back artwork is just as striking, showing him on a ledge along with Snake Mountain’s jagged silhouette looming behind him in moody purples and volcanic orange.

Trap Jaw Movie MOTU Origins Deluxe Exclusive In Hand Images 3

The box side panels carry some gorgeous artwork, with one side depicting a rocky, skull-littered stairway climbing toward a glowing volcanic skyline and the other featuring a tight portrait of Trap Jaw snarling under his spiked helmet, gripping a weapon with his organic hand. The warm oranges and deep earth tones wrap around the entire box and tie both panels together nicely.

Trap Jaw Movie MOTU Origins Deluxe Exclusive In Hand Images 4

The collector card gives you Trap Jaw’s portrait on the front with his snarling green face framed by that red helmet, while the back features a menacing Snake Mountain scene with lightning and molten lava veins running through the rock. It’s a nice inclusion, but honestly, a mini comic exploring the movie lore would have been a much better fit for a deluxe exclusive like this, and it feels like a missed opportunity.

Trap Jaw Movie MOTU Origins Deluxe Exclusive In Hand Images 5

Figure Details

The front view shows off Trap Jaw’s blue skin tone against the dark metallic greaves and heavy armored boots, with green wrist bracers and thigh guards adding contrast to the brown loin cloth’s ragged edges. From the back, you can see how the leather-like harness straps cross over the torso sculpt, and the mechanical arm’s cylindrical housing with its serrated blade attachment extends almost to the floor, with the hook accessory resting nearby.

Trap Jaw Movie MOTU Origins Deluxe Exclusive In Hand Images 7

Trap Jaw looks great fully kitted out with both attachments in play, the hook fitted to his mechanical arm while he grips the serrated blade in his organic hand. @masterversal_toyhunter posed him well across both angles, giving you a solid sense of how imposing all that layered armor and weaponry looks when everything comes together.

Trap Jaw Movie MOTU Origins Deluxe Exclusive In Hand Images 8

You can see the blade and hook attachments swapped between views here, and without the chest harness, that bare blue torso sculpt with its deep muscle definition is fully on display. The mechanical arm’s cylindrical housing dominates the silhouette, and the ornate belt buckle and tattered loin cloth do all the visual heavy lifting across the midsection now that the harness is out of the equation.

Trap Jaw Movie MOTU Origins Deluxe Exclusive In Hand Images 9

A face only a mother could love. The side-by-side comparison shows off Trap Jaw’s hinged jaw in both open and closed positions, and you can see how that green face sculpt shifts from a wide, teeth-baring snarl to a tighter, almost smirking expression just by clicking the jaw shut. Those beady dark eyes, the furrowed brow, and the jagged teeth lining the red helmet’s lower jaw all work together to make this one of the ugliest mugs in the lineup, in the best possible way.

Trap Jaw Movie MOTU Origins Deluxe Exclusive In Hand Images 6

You can remove the chest harness, wrist bracer, and loin cloth with belt, and here they’re laid out separately so you get a clear look at each piece. The harness has riveted straps with spiked shoulder armor, the loin cloth features a sculpted belt buckle with embossed detailing over tattered fur-like fabric, and the bracer carries matching carved textures.

Trap Jaw Movie MOTU Origins Deluxe Exclusive In Hand Images 2

These close-up panels let you appreciate the layered engineering on the leg armor, from the circular riveted knee joint and segmented greave plates down to the heavy, flat-soled boots with their recessed panel lines. The mechanical arm’s close-up reveals sculpted buckle clasps and raised ridges along the housing, with sharp fin-like protrusions curving off the shoulder cap that you just don’t catch at full-figure distance.

Trap Jaw Movie MOTU Origins Deluxe Exclusive In Hand Images 11

You can really see just how much Trap Jaw towers over He-Man here, with his heavy armor plating, chunky greaves, and that massive mechanical arm making him look like an absolute unit next to the leaner, classic MOTU Origins build. The size difference sells the idea of a bruiser who’d be a genuine physical threat on screen.

Fresh in from Australia, AmigaCammy on YouTube came through with some great in-hand shots of the MOTU Origins Movie Tri-Klops and Man-At-Arms figures, and these are looking sharp. These two have been high on the radar for Origins collectors ever since the movie figure lineup was revealed, and seeing them out of packaging gives us a much better sense of what Mattel is delivering here. Tri-Klops has that unique movie armor design with his signature visor translated into a more grounded, cinematic aesthetic while still fitting right into the Origins style. Man-At-Arms looks solid as well, carrying that seasoned warrior presence with his updated movie look and a nice complement of accessories. The sculpt work on both figures does a great job bridging the gap between the new live-action designs and the classic Origins format we all know and love. Now, these are currently hitting shelves in Australia, and we’re hoping it won’t be long before they show up stateside. The MOTU Origins movie figures are retailer exclusives here in the U.S., split between Target and Walmart, so keep your eyes peeled during those store runs. For now, scroll through the images below and get a closer look at what’s coming our way.

Figure Details

Tri-Klops and Man-At-Arms face off here, and AmigaCammy does a great job framing the pair to show off how well the movie aesthetic translates into the Origins line. Tri-Klops sports olive drab tactical gear with camo-patterned pants and his signature visor, while Man-At-Arms is loaded up in copper and green segmented armor.

Tri Klops and Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie In Hand Images 1

You get a solid rear view of both figures, and there’s a lot to take in. Tri-Klops has a studded skirt piece wrapping around the back of his waist, while Man-At-Arms features a bulky backpack unit with recessed vents sculpted into his copper chest armor.

Tri Klops and Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie In Hand Images 2

AmigaCammy really gets in close here, and you can pick out details like the riveted texture on the belt buckle, the segmented strips running down the loin skirt, and the snakeskin-like pattern across the pants. The visor wraps tightly around the head with a small triangular emblem at the center, while the gold-ringed harness straps cross over a dark chest piece covered in narrow sculpted grooves.

Tri Klops and Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie In Hand Images 3

Man-At-Arms gets a detailed close-up showing the layered sculpt work across his copper chest plate, with recessed panel lines, raised emblems, and segmented shoulder guards stacked with ridged plating. His blue helmet has a clean sculpt with rectangular vents along the sides, green ear covers, and a stern face with a thick mustache peeking out beneath the brim.

Tri Klops and Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie In Hand Images 4

AmigaCammy staged a full battle scene here, with Spikor lunging forward swinging his mace, He-Man mounted on Battle Cat with sword raised, and Tri-Klops and Man-At-Arms holding their ground on the opposite side. Battle Cat’s crimson helmet and green-and-yellow striped body make a strong centerpiece, while the oversized Power Sword prop laid across the scene ties the whole MOTU display together.

Tri Klops and Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie In Hand Images 5

You can see the clash up close here, with Spikor squared up against Battle Cat’s snarling open maw, fangs bared and helmet horns jutting forward, while He-Man rides atop swinging his sword overhead. Man-At-Arms holds position just off to the side, and a couple of additional figures further back fill out the skirmish line nicely.

Tri Klops and Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie In Hand Images 6

Man-At-Arms stands his ground with pistol drawn while Tri-Klops takes aim with his rifle from a distance, the two positioned on opposite sides of the charging Battle Cat. The spread between them suggests a coordinated pincer formation, each covering a different lane of the fight.

Tri Klops and Man At Arms MOTU Origins Movie In Hand Images 7

Man-At-Arms braces goes for his blaster while Tri-Klops lines up a shot with his rifle from across the scene, and the tension is all about who pulls the trigger first.

I have been looking forward to this one ever since the first reveal dropped, and having the Cannon Transforme Trap Jaw from the new MOTU Core line in hand is exactly what I was hoping for. I am a sucker for gimmicks, and Trap Jaw has always been one of those characters who delivers on that front across every iteration. From the original vintage figure with his swappable arm attachments to the Classics update and the Origins take, Trap Jaw has consistently been a figure that gives you something fun to play around with, and this 2026 movie version carries that legacy forward in a fresh way. At 5.5 inches, this sits right in line with the rest of the Core scale, and the sculpt pulls from the upcoming film design with a look that feels modern but still unmistakably Trap Jaw. You get a hook and a blade attachment for the arm swap options, which is where the real fun factor kicks in for me. The detail on the cybernetic jaw and mechanical arm is sharp, and the articulation feels solid for the scale. Seeing how Mattel is translating these characters from the new film into figure form has been a full circle moment for the franchise, and this one delivered. One I am really glad to have in the collection. Huge thanks to Big Bad Toy Store for sending this Cannon Transforme Trap Jaw MOTU Core Figure over for review, and if he has been on your must have list, you can still grab him now at Big Bad Toy Store.

Here is a quick overview and demo of the action feature:

Packaging

The front of the card features vivid cosmic artwork with He-Man and Skeletor flanking Trap Jaw, all set against a swirling purple and orange nebula that really pops. The back panel shifts to a darker Eternian landscape with Snake Mountain looming overhead, along with callouts showing the twist-action feature and swappable weapon attachments. The packaging has a real throwback feel to how the larger figures were boxed for the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Netflix series toy line, with that open-window design that lets you get hands on the figure and try out the twist-action cannon feature before you even buy it. I love that approach because you can actually see how the figure works before you buy it.

Cannon Transforme Trap Jaw MOTU Core Figure Review 8

Figure Details

Here is a full look at Trap Jaw here with both the front and back on display, and that bright green skull face pops right out from under the red helmet with that center spike detail. The blue torso is crossed with brown harness straps that wrap around to the back and connect across the shoulder blades, while the oversized mechanical arm hangs heavy on the right side with a cylindrical attachment that extends down past the waist. Around the lower half, the figure wears a dark, textured skirt piece over black legs with armored knee pads and tall boots, and flipping around to the back I can see the belt and strap work continuing cleanly across the waist and shoulders with that mechanical arm anchoring everything in place.

Cannon Transforme Trap Jaw MOTU Core Figure Review 9

The spiked red helmet has a great sculptural weight to it, with pointed studs ringing the crown and just enough of that green skin peeking through to keep Trap Jaw’s face visible from behind. You can also see how the chest harness wraps tightly over those muscular blue shoulders, with a thick strap running down the back that anchors everything to the purple belt at the waist.

Cannon Transforme Trap Jaw MOTU Core Figure Review 10

The arm cannon is a chunky, multi-segmented piece with ridged detailing and a layered collar of jagged armor plating where it connects to the shoulder. I love how the mechanical plating on the lower legs carries through that same industrial sculpting, with segmented knee armor and textured panels that tie the whole cybernetic side of Trap Jaw together.

Cannon Transforme Trap Jaw MOTU Core Figure Review 11

The shot moves in tight on Trap Jaw with the mechanical arm taking center stage as the cannon opens up, the front section expanding outward in layered segments while the barrel points forward. The green skull face sits beneath the red helmet with the centered spike, and the brown harness straps run diagonally across the blue chest with small rivet details visible along the edges. The left arm is lifted with a clenched hand and a purple wrist cuff, and the twist feature clearly drives the motion in the arm as it spreads open during the action.

Cannon Transforme Trap Jaw MOTU Core Figure Review 1

The view tightens up on the upper body, bringing the green skull face into sharp focus with the red helmet wrapping around the head and that silver spike running down the center. The jawline shows off the sculpted teeth and open mouth, while the eyes sit deep under the brow with a focused stare. The shoulder armor on the mechanical side is bulky and rounded with raised rivet details and small spikes along the edge, and the brown harness straps cross the blue chest with a textured, worn look that stands out against the smoother torso.

Cannon Transforme Trap Jaw MOTU Core Figure Review 4

The side view really shows off the layered construction of those boots, with angular kneecap guards that jut forward and segmented shin plates stacking down toward the flat, squared-off soles. You can also catch those small mechanical disc joints at the knees and the jagged edge of the tattered loincloth draping over the upper thigh.

Cannon Transforme Trap Jaw MOTU Core Figure Review 3

Here’s a closer look at the hook and knife accessories laid out next to those heavy, squared-off boots.

Cannon Transforme Trap Jaw MOTU Core Figure Review 2

Here’s a close look at the hook and knife attachments that swap onto Trap Jaw’s mechanical arm. Both are noticeably undersized relative to the arm cannon they plug into, and you’ll really see how small they feel once everything is posed together. I get that they need to fit inside the barrel of the cannon but they look a little ridiculous on their own.

Cannon Transforme Trap Jaw MOTU Core Figure Review 12

As the mechanical arm opens up again, this time revealing the internal attachment with a small saw blade extended out from the end. The outer shell splits upward into a jagged, hinged panel, exposing the inner arm with layered mechanical detailing and a pivot point near the wrist. The saw blade itself looks noticeably small compared to the bulk of the arm, sitting on a narrow connector with tiny sculpted teeth, while the rounded shoulder armor with spikes and rivets anchors the whole assembly back to the torso.

Cannon Transforme Trap Jaw MOTU Core Figure Review 5

Trap Jaw is mid-action here with the mechanical arm opened up and angled forward and Mekaneck is caught upside down with his extended neck bent back, red chest armor and blue limbs twisted as the silver mechanical leg kicks out, and I like how the pose captures him right in the middle of getting knocked around.

Trap-Jaw-Cannon-Transform-MOTU-Core-12

Here’s a great back-to-back comparison of the MOTU Chronicles Trap Jaw on the left and the Cannon Transforme Trap Jaw on the right, and the differences are immediately clear. The Chronicles version has a brown leather harness and a metallic pink helmet, while the Core figure swaps in a darker gunmetal harness with purple accents and that signature red helmet, giving each release its own distinct visual identity.

Cannon Transforme Trap Jaw MOTU Core Figure Review 6

From the back, you can really appreciate how differently the two versions handle their armor, with the Chronicles Trap Jaw showing that lighter metallic shoulder guard and brown strap work, while the Core figure goes heavier with darker, spikier shoulder plating that wraps further around the back. The teal accents peeking through the tattered loincloth on the Chronicles version contrast nicely against the purple highlights on the Core figure’s shorts and wrist cuff.

Huge thanks to Mattel for sending this set over for free so we can share the excitement with you! The Little People Collector The Devil Wears Prada 4-Pack Special Edition set struck a very personal nostalgia chord with me that I was not expecting. I grew up playing with Little People when I was younger, so I have always had a soft spot for this collector line, but this set hit different. Back in 2006, when I was working for eBay, they took us to a special screening of The Devil Wears Prada, and that memory has stuck with me ever since. So when this set was announced, I could not help myself. I had to review it and I am really happy with this one. The four-figure set gives us Miranda Priestly, a post-makeover Andy Sachs, Emily, and Nigel, all captured in their most recognizable looks from the film. Miranda even comes with a tiny copy of Runway magazine, which is such a fun detail that adds some real weight to the set. The packaging places all four characters inside a high-fashion Runway closet scene that looks great for display, and the likenesses across the board are well done for the Little People style. This one clicked immediately for me on both a collector and personal level. This set launches on Mattel Creations at 9am PT on May 1, 2026 on Mattel Creations and you can also pick this set up on Amazon.

Packaging

The packaging on this set is really well done, with the high-fashion closet backdrop full of illustrated handbags and shoes framing Nigel, Andrea, Miranda, and Emily front and center through the window display. I love the iconic red stiletto heel with the pitchfork worked into the box design, and the whole presentation is clean enough that in-box collectors can proudly display this one as-is.

The Devil Wears Prada Little People 4 Pack Special Edition Set Review 1

The side panel wraps the box with a oversized teal handbag illustration that perfectly captures the fashion-forward energy of the film, translated into that chunky, stylized Little People aesthetic. It’s a clever design choice that ties the packaging back to the movie’s luxury fashion world without relying on any character imagery.

The Devil Wears Prada Little People 4 Pack Special Edition Set Review 2

The left side panel showcases all four characters in their stylized Little People form, each with their name printed beneath them, stacked vertically from Andrea at the top down through Miranda, Nigel, and Emily Charlton. It’s a nice quick reference that lets you identify the full lineup at a glance before you even open the box.

The Devil Wears Prada Little People 4 Pack Special Edition Set Review 3

The back of the box features a fun scene with all four characters illustrated in the Runway magazine office, complete with bookshelves, framed artwork, and a coffee cup on the desk. Each character is posed with their signature accessories, including Nigel holding a document and Miranda clutching her copy of Runway magazine.

The Devil Wears Prada Little People 4 Pack Special Edition Set Review 4

Here’s a fun little detail you might miss if you’re not paying attention. Once you peel back the tape securing the clamshell, there’s a hidden quote printed underneath: “Alright, everyone. Gird your loins!”, one of Miranda Priestly’s most iconic lines from the film and a perfect easter egg for fans who actually open the box.

The Devil Wears Prada Little People 4 Pack Special Edition Set Review 5

The inner box art is a gorgeous stylized recreation of the Runway magazine fashion closet, with shelves packed full of illustrated shoes, boots, and handbags flanking a monochrome character sketch at the center. It’s a really charming nod to one of the film’s most memorable settings, and it makes a great display backdrop once you remove the figures.

The Devil Wears Prada Little People 4 Pack Special Edition Set Review 6

Figure Details

From left to right, you’ve got Nigel in his grey vest and glasses, Andrea in her post-makeover black jacket with gold necklaces, Miranda clutching her tiny Runway magazine, and Emily rounding out the lineup in her black and gold top. Each one has a distinct silhouette and outfit that immediately identifies them, and I love how the set captures the whole core cast in one clean grouping.

The Devil Wears Prada Little People 4 Pack Special Edition Set Review 7

The front view of Miranda highlights a small pendant resting against the purple top, along with her oversized round glasses framed by sculpted earrings on each side. From the back, the hair sculpt is full of swirling, layered waves that carry impressive depth and volume, and you can see how the jacket sits snugly over the shoulders with a clean, fitted silhouette.

The Devil Wears Prada Little People 4 Pack Special Edition Set Review 14

The Runway magazine accessory is a great little piece, with the silhouette cover art and text cleanly printed on that tiny surface. I love the sculpted texture on the jacket too, where the creased, leather-like finish pairs with sharp, clean lines throughout.

The Devil Wears Prada Little People 4 Pack Special Edition Set Review 9

The front view shows off all the little details in Nigel’s layered outfit, from the sculpted vest buttons and belt buckle to the red tie peeking out beneath the open jacket, while the back reveals clean pinstripe-like ridges molded into the jacket fabric. I like how the back is kept simple with just the jacket and trouser sculpt, letting the front carry all the visual weight.

The Devil Wears Prada Little People 4 Pack Special Edition Set Review 11

The front of Emily features her sculpted leather jacket with rows of tiny stud details across the lapels and a ruffled white top visible underneath, all cinched together with a sculpted belt at the waist. From the back, you can see the layered hair sculpt with its curled ends resting on the shoulders, and the jacket carries over cleanly with a smooth, uncluttered finish.

The Devil Wears Prada Little People 4 Pack Special Edition Set Review 12

The front of Andrea shows off her sweater peeking through the open jacket with stacked neckalces around her neck, with a sculpted green handbag slung at her side adding a nice pop of texture against the smooth outerwear. From the back, the hair sculpt has clean, individually carved strands that flow all the way down past the shoulders, and you can see how the handbag wraps around with its crossbody strap still visible.

The Devil Wears Prada Little People 4 Pack Special Edition Set Review 13

Miranda’s sculpted outfit layers a black jacket over a purple top with red pants, while Andy pairs her black jacket with a chevron-patterned sweater, gold layered necklaces, and olive-toned boots. The contrast between Miranda’s sharp, editorial look and Andy’s accessorized post-makeover ensemble really sells how different these two characters are despite both being in dark outerwear.

The Devil Wears Prada Little People 4 Pack Special Edition Set Review 8

Emily and Nigel make such a charming pair side by side, with her sculpted auburn hair and layered black outfit contrasting nicely against his clean bald head, round glasses, and vest-and-tie combo. You can really appreciate the personality in their faces at this scale, from Emily’s slightly pursed expression to Nigel’s warm little grin.

I love it when the community comes through like this, and @motucollectuk came through with some great in-hand shots of the Sky Sled and He-Man Core 2-Pack Amazon cxclusive. This was one of those preorders that dropped out of nowhere ahead of the big April 25th preorder wave, catching a lot of us off guard. It’s great to see this set already landing in collectors’ hands, though once again it’s our UK collectors leading the way while the U.S. release date isn’t until June 1, 2026. That’s a long wait for stateside fans, which makes these images all the more valuable right now. From what we can see here, the Sky Sled looks fantastic alongside this version of He-Man, and the packaging presentation gives off that classic vehicle and figure combo energy that so many of us grew up loving. The sculpt on He-Man looks clean, the Sky Sled has some nice detail work, and the overall set feels like a solid pairing although with He-Man coming in multiple packs now, we’re going to have a glut of He-Man’s (is that the plural of He-Man 🤔) to deal with. If you haven’t locked in your preorder yet, you can still grab the Sky Sled and He-Man Core 2-Pack on Amazon before that June date creeps up on you. Scroll down and check out all the in-hand shots below.

Packaging

The box opens to reveal illustrated interior artwork depicting He-Man riding the Sky Sled across an Eternian landscape, with golden skies, distant moons, and rocky terrain painted across the inner flaps. It’s the same approach as the Core 4-pack, where a plain shipper box on the outside hides full artwork on the inside, and it’s a nice touch that gives this set a more premium unboxing feel than the exterior suggests.

Figure Details

He-Man sits mounted on the Sky Sled, and the vehicle’s overall silhouette has a real speeder bike quality to it, with the elongated nose, front-mounted cannon, and black ski-style runners underneath giving it that hovering scout craft feel. The blue body has a nice metallic sheen, and the gray cockpit windscreen and rear paneling break up the profile well.

Sky Sled and He Man MOTU Core 2 Pack In Hand Images 2

@motucollectuk’s low angle here really puts the focus on the Sky Sled’s front end, where the projectile sits locked into the cannon housing beneath the nose. The sculpted rivet detail and panel lines running along the body panels add a mechanical, utilitarian feel to the vehicle’s design.

Sky Sled and He Man MOTU Core 2 Pack In Hand Images 3

From the rear, the Sky Sled’s back end shows the compact engine housing with its blue center section and gray rear plating, and the open seat where He-Man straddles the vehicle is clearly defined with enough clearance for his legs to rest on the foot platforms below.

Sky Sled and He Man MOTU Core 2 Pack In Hand Images 4

The spare projectile clipped to the side of the Sky Sled is a great design choice, giving collectors a dedicated storage spot that will help keep those small pieces accounted for.

Sky Sled and He Man MOTU Core 2 Pack In Hand Images 5

The side-by-side framing highlights the rivet detailing scattered across the Sky Sled’s blue body panels, with rows of small raised dots running along the nose cone, side fairings, and the angular plating near the windscreen. The rivets are consistent across both angles, reinforcing that armored, bolted-together construction feel throughout the vehicle’s hull.

Sky Sled and He Man MOTU Core 2 Pack In Hand Images 6

The figure’s proportions work well with the Sky Sled’s scale, giving him a planted, riding position without any awkward splaying or loose contact points.

Sky Sled and He Man MOTU Core 2 Pack In Hand Images 7

From this rear three-quarter view, the Sky Sled’s control dashboard is tucked just behind the windscreen, with small sculpted gauges and a raised console panel where He-Man’s grip meets the vehicle’s steering column. It’s a small detail that’s easy to miss at most angles, but it adds a nice cockpit interior touch to what could have been a featureless gap between the handlebars.

Sky Sled and He Man MOTU Core 2 Pack In Hand Images 8

The clear windscreen has a slight curve to its profile, and the twin black cylinders mounted beneath the nose are more defined from this distance than in closer shots.

Sky Sled and He Man MOTU Core 2 Pack In Hand Images 9

The close-up on the cockpit area shows the tclear windscreen with a small blaster barrel poking through an opening in its center, a neat integrated weapon detail built right into the shield itself.

Sky Sled and He Man MOTU Core 2 Pack In Hand Images 10

These two angles from @motucollectuk show He-Man leaning forward into a riding posture on the Sky Sled, and the figure holds the position convincingly with his torso angled toward the handlebars and his feet tucked back on the platforms. The split framing captures both a wider profile and a tighter rear three-quarter view, giving a good sense of how the figure’s proportions sit against the vehicle from different vantage points.

Sky Sled and He Man MOTU Core 2 Pack In Hand Images 11

MOTU Core and MOTU Origins Comparisons

The Core Sky Sled on the left has a sleeker, more cinematic design with its smooth blue bodywork and tinted windscreen, while the Origins Sky Sled on the right leans into the chunky vintage toy aesthetic with its broader frame and the sculpted ram-head cannon up front. He-Man rides both, but the two sleds couldn’t look more different sitting side by side, really showing how far apart the movie-inspired and classic design languages are.

Sky Sled MOTU Core vs MOTU Origins Sky Sled 6

From this top-down view, the Core Sky Sled’s front end is narrower and more tapered, with a smaller windscreen that sits flush against the body, while the Origins version has a wider, blockier nose and a larger windscreen that juts up at a steeper angle. The difference in proportions is pretty clear here, with the Core sled reading as a more refined, scaled-down interpretation of the same vehicle.

Sky Sled MOTU Core vs MOTU Origins Sky Sled 5

Two versions of the Sky Sled from the back, with the Core version on the left showing a compact, flat rear profile and the Origins version on the right featuring a cluster of cylindrical thruster barrels that give it a chunkier, more mechanical look. The Origins design leans heavier into that classic vehicle toy aesthetic with the exposed exhaust ports, while the Core sled keeps things sleeker and more streamlined.

Sky Sled MOTU Core vs MOTU Origins Sky Sled 3

The Core Sky Sled in the foreground has a noticeably lower, flatter silhouette compared to the Origins version behind it, which sits taller with its raised rear fins and more pronounced cockpit area. The Origins sled also carries a translucent red blast effect on its front cannon, a fun accessory that the Core version doesn’t include.

Sky Sled MOTU Core vs MOTU Origins Sky Sled 4

He-Man sits mounted on the Core Sky Sled, which is elevated on what is the Origins Sky Sled’s translucent display stand, and the fit between the two looks surprisingly seamless. It’s unclear whether there’s a peg connection underneath or if the sled is simply resting on the stand, but either way it gives the vehicle a great hovering effect.

Sky Sled MOTU Core vs MOTU Origins Sky Sled 1

The hovering display from a different angle gives a better look at the Sky Sled’s angular front profile, including the pointed nose, translucent windscreen, and the dark barrel-style details mounted along the undercarriage. He-Man’s sword is sheathed across his back, with the hilt poking up just above his shoulder.

Sky Sled MOTU Core vs MOTU Origins Sky Sled 2

He-Man Comparisons

Looking at both figures side by side and the differences pop right away in the chest armor and the belt buckle, with the Sky Sled version on the left featuring a blue harness and belt with a more metallic tone, while the retail version on the right switches to a brighter silver chest piece and belt. Both share the same blonde hair sculpt and brown boots and skirt, but the color breaks and weapon size really shift the overall look between the two.

Meow, by the power of Grayskull! There is nothing quite like seeing Battle Cat land on your doorstep, and this Chronicles version tied to the upcoming 2026 Masters of the Universe movie has had me counting down the days since it was first revealed. Battle Cat has always been one of the most essential pieces of any Masters of the Universe collection. He’s not just He-Man’s ride into combat, he’s also Cringer transformed, loyal companion, and honestly one of the most visually striking characters in all of Eternia. From the vintage Mattel line in the 1980s to Origins and Masterverse, every version of this fierce green and gold tiger tells you something about where the franchise is at that moment. This Chronicles release is no exception, pulling its design cues directly from the new film and giving us a fresh take on a character we’ve loved for over four decades. At 6.5 inches in scale, he’s built to pair perfectly with the other Chronicles figures, and the sculpt on this one is genuinely impressive. The muscular build has real weight to it, the striped pattern across his body is clean and content-accurate, and those realistic eye details give him a presence that just commands attention on the shelf. The articulated jaw is a fun touch that adds personality to every pose you put him in. Collectors are going to appreciate the removable armor and saddle, which give you options depending on how you want to display him. Want the full battle-ready Cringer-no-more look with He-Man mounted up? You’ve got it. Prefer the raw, untamed tiger on his own? That works beautifully too. The deluxe articulation means you can get some really dynamic stances out of him, and the packaging itself is designed for in-box display if that’s your style. So let’s take a look at this Chronicles Battle Cat in hand review! We want to give a huge thanks to Big Bad Toy Store for sending us this Chronicles Battle Cat for review, and if he has been on your must have list, you can still grab him now at Big Bad Toy Store.

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 18

My favorite thing about this new Chronicles Battle Cat has got to be his new glass eyes! They literally follow you as you move Battle Cat’s head! Enjoy this video of Battle Cat, look out, somebody’s watching you!

Packaging

The box design leans into a dark, star-speckled color scheme with a large window that gives you a clear look at Battle Cat nestled inside. The artwork on the right side panel features a fierce, stylized illustration of Battle Cat mid-roar, his green and yellow-striped body glowing with warm orange highlights against the dark backdrop.

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 1

Here’s a closer look at the left side panel of the box, which wraps that gorgeous artwork around the corner. The illustration sprawls across the full height of the panel, depicting Battle Cat in his deep crimson armor and saddle, jaws wide open with those signature fangs on full display against a cosmic purple-ringed halo and starfield.

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 2

The right side panel carries the same artwork motif, with Battle Cat lunging forward in full roar against a warm, fiery orange backdrop that silhouettes Castle Grayskull in the distance. You can see how the window cutouts on this side give you a peek at the figure’s crimson armor and saddle inside, flanking the central artwork card nicely.

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 3

Here’s a closer look at the back of the box, which features a stunning piece of key art showing He-Man mounted atop Battle Cat as they charge across a molten, lava-scorched landscape. The right side includes two inset photos showing Battle Cat’s Cringer form and his armored-up look, along with three other figures in the Chronicles series, He-Man, Man-At-Arms, and Tri-Klops, lined up along the bottom.

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 4

Figure Details

Battle Cat’s crimson helmet is seriously impressive up close, with that sharp central horn flanked by angular cheek guards that frame his snarling green face underneath. Those black-tipped claws on each paw have great individual sculpting, and the yellow striping peeking through along his shoulders adds a nice pop against all that olive green.

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 5

Here’s a closer look at Battle Cat from the right side, and the fur texture across his flank is covered in tight, layered sculpting that gives the whole body a real sense of weight and mass. The saddle features intricate scrollwork etched into the crimson surface, and you can see how it wraps around his torso with straps that buckle just behind the front legs, while those bold yellow-orange stripes cascade irregularly down his haunches and curling tail.

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 6

Now let’s take a look at Battle Cat’s booty! From the rear, you can see how Battle Cat’s tail has a great curling shape with that yellow-orange tip, and the striping pattern wraps all the way around it in irregular patches that feel organic rather than symmetrical. There’s a small port on his back just behind the saddle area, likely for seating a Chronicles figure securely, and the fur texture continues uninterrupted across his hindquarters without losing any of that tight, layered detail.

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 7

Outfitted with that crimson saddle, you can see how the strap system on the left side wraps snugly under Battle Cat’s barrel chest, with a visible buckle detail just behind the front leg joint that connects the whole armor assembly together. The yellow-orange striping along his left flank follows a slightly different pattern than the right side, with thicker, more diagonal slashes running from his shoulder down through the hip, and those dark claws on his front paw curl slightly inward against the surface.

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 8

A close-up reveals the incredible depth of the scrollwork etched into Battle Cat’s saddle, with a central floral medallion surrounded by swirling vine-like filigree that fills the entire lower panel of the piece. I like how the upper section features its own separate decorative motif, slightly more organic and cloud-like in pattern, separated by a raised border that gives the saddle a real sense of layered craftsmanship.

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 9

A close-up reveals the front section of Battle Cat’s armor, where three sharp, curved horns rise from the top of the spiked shoulder guard in staggered heights. The strap work here is especially nice, with molded leather-like bands wrapping around the barrel of the armor piece and a small square buckle fastening everything together just below the centerline.

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 10

Here’s a closer look at Battle Cat’s face mask, and you can really appreciate how the angular design narrows to a sharp, wedge-shaped muzzle guard that juts forward aggressively over his snout. The eye cutout on the helmet lets just enough of that olive green skin peek through, and the twin horns rising from the crown give the whole headpiece a distinctly feral, predatory silhouette.

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 11

Here’s a closer look at Battle Cat’s rear legs, and the articulation at the hip and knee joints is nicely hidden within the natural breaks of the fur sculpt, letting you bend those haunches without disrupting the overall silhouette. The paws themselves have individually sculpted toes tipped with dark, black claws, and the yellow striping continues right down through the lower legs in thin, jagged streaks that thin out as they approach the feet.

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 12

You can see how Battle Cat’s front leg articulation breaks at the shoulder and mid-leg joint, both cleverly concealed within natural seams in the fur texture so they don’t interrupt the flow of that dense, layered sculpting. The paw pads are chunky and well-defined, with each toe splaying out individually and tipped in those dark navy-toned claws, and the yellow-orange striping on the upper foreleg tapers into thinner, more scattered marks as it moves down toward the wrist.

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 13

Battle Cat’s unmasked face is where this figure really shines, with those realistic glass eyes locking onto you no matter where you move, creating an almost unsettling sense of life behind that snarling expression. The purple interior of his open jaw contrasts sharply against those ivory fangs and pink nose, and the yellow tribal-style markings painted across his forehead and around his eyes give him a wild, almost ritualistic look that’s completely different from the classic cartoon design. A closer look at those glass eyes! Look out, somebody’s watching you!

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 14

I’m really digging the unmasked profile here, where you get a full sense of how those yellow tribal markings sweep across Battle Cat’s forehead and cheek in jagged, almost lightning-bolt patterns that feel hand-painted and primal. The articulated jaw hangs open to reveal that deep purple mouth cavity with individually sculpted teeth, upper and lower, while the soft pink nose sits just above the curled upper lip in a detail that’s surprisingly naturalistic for a giant green tiger.

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 15

Something I appreciate here is how the helmet’s wedge-shaped muzzle guard frames Battle Cat’s open jaw, with those long saber-tooth fangs jutting out below the crimson chin plate and creating a layered effect between armor and beast. The segmented ridges sculpted across the nose bridge of the mask give it an almost reptilian quality, and you can just catch a sliver of those yellow-orange eyes glowing through the narrow eye sockets beneath the crown horns. I still kind of miss the more traditional shape of Battle Cat’s vintage helmet, but this does resemble the look in the movie.

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 16

He-Man sits comfortably atop Battle Cat here, and the scale between the two Chronicles figures works perfectly, with his legs straddling the saddle naturally and his boots tucking in just above those armored shoulder guards. His weathered silver and brown leather harness with that red cross medallion at the chest pairs nicely against Battle Cat’s crimson armor, tying the rider and mount together as a cohesive set.

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 17

He-Man and Battle Cat look like a real unit from this head-on angle, with the crimson saddle central horn creating a strong vertical line that draws your eye straight up to He-Man’s silver Power Sword overhead. It’s cool to see how Battle Cat’s splayed front paws and wide-set legs create a broad, grounded base that sells the weight of carrying an armored rider. The unmasked Battle Cat look is definitely my favorite!

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 19

Battle Cat’s open jaw from this low, head-on perspective really sells the ferocity of the sculpt, with those ivory saber-tooth fangs framing a deep purple mouth cavity that practically dares you to get closer. The crimson helmet’s cheek guards flare wide like blinders on a warhorse, and those dark olive-green eyes barely peeking through the narrow slits add a predatory intensity you don’t fully appreciate from any other angle. You can see his piercing glass eyes with the open eye holes on the helmet.

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 20

Battle Cat towers over He-Man here with his helmet removed, and the size difference between the two Chronicles figures really hits home when you see that massive raised paw with its splayed, dark-clawed digits dwarfing He-Man’s entire upper body. The crimson helmet sitting on the ground between them gives you a nice sense of its actual size relative to the figures, and it’s a fun way to show off how substantial that removable armor piece really is.

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 21

Sporting his unarmored Cringer look, Battle Cat sits with a calm, almost domesticated quality that’s a complete contrast to the ferocious helmeted version, and those yellow tribal markings across his face still pop beautifully against the olive green even in this quieter moment. He-Man’s hand resting near that massive jaw really sells the bond between the two, and the sheer size of Cringer’s head next to the 6.5-inch scale figure reminds you just how enormous this cat actually is. Here you can see his underbelly details and paw pads and toe nails!

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 22

Covered in that dense, layered fur texture from head to curled tail tip, Cringer in his seated position shows off just how much surface area those yellow-orange stripes actually cover when the armor isn’t obscuring them. The articulated jaw hangs open in a relaxed snarl here, and without the helmet framing everything, you really get to appreciate the rounded, almost house-cat quality of his broad green muzzle and those small, perked ears sitting flat against the crown of his head. This new articulation on Battle Cat is fantastic!

Battle Cat MOTU Chronicles IH 23

Covered in nothing but that olive green fur and bold yellow-orange striping, Cringer looks like an entirely different figure without his armor, and you really get a sense of just how massive and long this cat is from nose to curled tail. I noticed that the fur texture along his underbelly carries a slightly lighter, more washed-out green compared to his back and flanks, a subtle tonal shift that adds some welcome depth to the silhouette.

Nyah ah ah ah ah! The Evil Lord of Destruction has arrived, and I have to say, I am absolutely thrilled to have this one in hand. Skeletor is one of those characters who has been a cornerstone of my collection since I was a kid. From the original 1982 toy line to the Filmation cartoon, from the 200X redesign to the more recent Origins and Masterverse lines, every version of Skeletor brings something different to the table. But this one? This is something entirely new for all of us. We’re looking at the first figure based on Jared Leto’s portrayal of the character in the upcoming 2026 live action Masters of the Universe film, and it is wild to finally see a movie-inspired Skeletor on my shelf. The Chronicles line is positioning itself as the collector tier for the new film, and Mattel clearly put thought into this release. At 6.5 inches with 30 points of articulation, he’s got plenty of room for dynamic posing. The movie-accurate armor design is intricate and layered in a way that feels fresh while still honoring that iconic skull-faced villain we all know and love. He comes with his signature Havoc Staff, an alternate pair of hands, and that deluxe packaging that looks gorgeous whether you’re an in-box or out-of-box collector. There’s so much to dig into here, from the sculpted detail on that armor to how the articulation handles those more dramatic Skeletor poses we all want to put him in. So let’s take a look at this Chronicles Skeletor in hand review! We want to give a huge thanks to Big Bad Toy Store for sending us this Chronicles Skeletor for review, and if he has been on your must have list, you can still grab him now at Big Bad Toy Store.

He-Man squares off against Skeletor here, both figures posed with their signature weapons raised overhead. Skeletor’s cape drapes nicely over his shoulders and down past his knees, and the deep purple and has the look of real fabric which adds a lot to the figure’s silhouette.

Skeletor MOTU Chronicles IH 1

The box art features a striking illustration of Skeletor on the left side, his skull face glowing with red eyes beneath a deep purple hood, with wisps of purple energy swirling around him. Through the window, the figure sits in a sculpted plastic tray alongside his Havoc Staff accessory and an alternate pair of hands.

Skeletor MOTU Chronicles IH 2

The side panel features He-Man in his movie armor holding the Power Sword aloft, with Skeletor’s skull face lurking just behind him in purple shadow. A cosmic backdrop with an eclipsing planet and scattered stars fills the upper portion of the box, setting an epic Eternian tone.

Placed side by side, the He-Man and Skeletor packages create a natural hero-versus-villain pairing, with the warm fiery tones of He-Man’s box art flowing right into the cool purple energy of Skeletor’s. I like how the combined artwork tells a story on its own, the two side panels meeting in the middle to frame that eternal Eternian rivalry.

Skeletor MOTU Chronicles IH 4

The back of the box features a large illustrated Skeletor wielding his ram-headed Havoc Staff overhead, draped in a flowing purple hood and cape with a rocky Eternian landscape beneath him. Two smaller inset images on the left show alternate poses, one with the staff held like a weapon and another with arms outstretched, giving a good sense of the figure’s 30 points of articulation.

Skeletor MOTU Chronicles IH 5

Skeletor sits in his clear plastic tray with the Havoc Staff nestled alongside him, its ram skull headpiece sculpted in a silvery gray with curling horns and small blue gem-like eyes. The figure’s blue skin has a nice matte finish that contrasts well against the deep purple of his hood, armor, and layered loincloth.

Skeletor MOTU Chronicles IH 6

Figure Details

Skeletor’s ornate chest armor has a sculpted medallion at its center with a small pinkish gem, and the surrounding filigree work carries a dark metallic purple finish that extends across his broad shoulder piece. His purple boots feature layered armor plating with hexagonal details that match the geometric patterns running through his belt and loincloth.

Skeletor MOTU Chronicles IH 7

From this side profile, the plastic cape hangs straight down from Skeletor’s hood, and the sculpted fabric texture on the hood and cape has a nice knit-like weave pattern throughout. His dark metallic gauntlet wraps around the forearm with etched circular details, sitting snugly against that matte blue skin.

Skeletor MOTU Chronicles IH 8

The back of the figure shows Skeletor’s sculpted cape in full, with a braided chain-like detail running down the center spine from hood to mid-back, adding a nice bit of visual interest to what could have been a plain surface. The dark metallic shoulder armor peeks out on both sides where the cape falls away, and his matte blue arms contrast cleanly against the deep cape.

Skeletor MOTU Chronicles IH 9

From the side, Skeletor’s purple loincloth has a layered, segmented look with sculpted rivets along the waistline, and the cape drapes naturally over his upper thigh. His purple boots sit high on the calf, and the soles have a slight heel that helps keep the figure standing upright.

Skeletor MOTU Chronicles IH 10

A close-up reveals the sculpt on Skeletor’s skull face in impressive detail, with deep-set black eye sockets housing small red eyes, a sharply defined nasal cavity, and individually sculpted teeth that give the jaw a slightly menacing grin. The purple hood frames his face with a textured weave pattern, while the chest armor below features that ornate medallion with its red gem surrounded by twisted, branch-like filigree work in dark metallic purple.

Skeletor MOTU Chronicles IH 11

A close-up of Skeletor’s skull face with his mouth open reveals the jaw dropped slightly lower than the previous head sculpt, exposing deeper shadows between those individually sculpted teeth and adding a more aggressive expression. The yellowish bone tone shifts warmer around the cheekbones and brow ridge, with darker brown washes settling into the crevices of the nasal cavity and temple area.

Skeletor MOTU Chronicles IH 21

The sculpt on Skeletor’s right forearm gauntlet shows a snake-like motif with circular medallion details and a small red gem set into the shoulder armor where it meets the chest piece. His icy blue skin has that marbled, almost stone-like texture throughout the arm, and the segmented sculpting at the joints looks like it should allow for a solid range of motion.

Skeletor MOTU Chronicles IH 14

The sculpt on Skeletor’s left arm shows that same marbled, stone-like blue skin texture, with the dark metallic gauntlet featuring an ornate filigree pattern distinct from the snake motif on his right arm. I like how the cape falls just behind the arm here, its faux woven fabric look brushing against the gauntlet.

Skeletor MOTU Chronicles IH 15

A close-up of Skeletor’s loincloth shows the sculpted belt section featuring an intertwined serpentine pattern with a circular medallion at its center, finished in a dark metallic purple. The individual armor tabs hang in overlapping layers with chevron-like engravings and small hexagonal accents etched into each segment. The designers of Skeletor really leaned into the snake theme because Skeletor “lives at Snake Mountain”.

Skeletor MOTU Chronicles IH 12

A close-up of Skeletor’s boots shows the purple and dark gray color blocking in detail, with sculpted armor plating covering the shins and textured overlapping panels wrapping around the toe area. The icy blue skin of his lower legs has a slightly pearlescent, almost marbled quality to it up close, and the soft goods cape’s woven texture hangs just behind.

Skeletor MOTU Chronicles IH 13

A close-up of the back of Skeletor’s hood shows the sculpted knit-like weave texture wrapping fully around the head, with natural folds and creases where the fabric bunches at the base of the skull. The hood flows seamlessly into the cowl below, where the same woven texture carries through the layered neckline and meets the dark metallic shoulder armor peeking out on one side.

Skeletor MOTU Chronicles IH 16

The rear of Skeletor’s cape shows its full length from the cowl down past the knees, with the look of woven fabric maintaining a consistent drape and a slightly scalloped, uneven hemline along the bottom edge. His icy blue arms and dark metallic gauntlets frame the cape on either side, and the overall proportions of the cape feel well-scaled to the figure’s 6.5-inch frame.

Skeletor MOTU Chronicles IH 17

Skeletor holds his Havoc Staff overhead with both hands, and the ram skull headpiece with its curling horns catches the light nicely, showing off the silvery gray finish and sculpted detail. That head sculpt is really solid, the yellow-toned skull catching just enough shadow under the purple hood to look great in an action pose like this.

Skeletor MOTU Chronicles IH 18

Look out because Skeletor is wheedling his Havoc Staff! The ram skull’s curling horns have a nice ridged texture running along their length that catches light differently than the smoother bone of the skull itself. The dark staff shaft has a twisted, wrapped detailing near the grip that pairs well with the ornate gauntlet sculpt just above his gripping hand.

Skeletor MOTU Chronicles IH 19

Skeletor is posed with one hand raised in a claw-like gesture, his yellow skull face grinning beneath the purple hood while his plastic cape fans out behind him. The Havoc Staff’s ram skull headpiece towers above his shoulder, its silvery gray horns curling tightly against the dark shaft.

Skeletor MOTU Chronicles IH 20

Skeletor is posed with one of his alternate hands which is posed open and extended outward, his fingers splayed in a claw-like gesture that really shows off the sculpted detail on those long, pointed fingertips. The chest armor’s central red gem catches the light here, sitting right at the intersection of the ornate collar piece and his icy blue torso.

Skeletor MOTU Chronicles IH 22

Nyah ah ah ah ah! The Evil Lord of Destruction stands here posed with a commanding stance, his icy blue hands curled into claw-like grips as if summoning dark energy. The plastic cape hangs straight down behind him, and the layered purple loincloth segments fan out naturally with the wide leg positioning.

Skeletor MOTU Chronicles IH 23

Armed with the Havoc Staff gripped firmly in both hands, Skeletor is posed in a wide, low stance that really takes advantage of those 30 points of articulation. The plastic cape sweeps to one side with the figure’s movement, and the icy blue skin contrasts sharply against the deep purple of his hood and boots.

I have been looking forward to this one since we first saw Ram Man at German Toy Fair 2026, and now having both him and Fisto in hand as the first MOTU Chronicles 2-Pack, this release carries some real weight. At the time, we did not know Ram Man would be paired with Fisto, so that was a cool surprise when the 2-Pack was officially revealed. Starting with Ram Man, the actor likeness of Jon Xue Zhang is sharp, and the included “coil” leg extensions give him that heavy-hitting silhouette that feels right for the character in live action form. The hatchet and extra set of hands round him out nicely, giving you some solid display options. Fisto is equally impressive, with the Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson likeness looking great in person. His oversized metallic fist is the centerpiece here, and the translucent blue fist effect adds a layer of visual punch that photographs incredibly well. It is also worth noting how Mattel handled the packaging for this one. Being the first 2-Pack in the Chronicles line, it was cool to see how they adapted the box design to accommodate two figures while keeping the presentation consistent with the single releases. Both figures together make this one of my favorites in the line so far, and I am really happy with how this set came together. If you are looking to add this 2-Pack to your collection, you can grab them now over at Amazon.

Packaging

Here’s a clean look at the front of the box where you can really take in both figures head to toe, from Ram Man’s heavy layered armor plating and red skirt down to his knee guards, and Fisto’s asymmetrical build with that oversized gauntlet contrasting against his bare arm. The tray layout gives each figure plenty of room to breathe, and you get a better sense of scale between the two, with Ram Man’s stockier, bulkier frame standing noticeably wider than Fisto’s leaner silhouette.

Ram Man and Fisto MOTU Chronicles Amazon Exclusive 2 Pack Review 3

The side angle gives you a nice view of how the window wraps around the packaging, letting light spill in the same way the single-boxed releases do, so you can appreciate the depth of Ram Man’s layered shoulder armor and Fisto’s fist without any glare fighting you. The card art portrait on the side panel is a gorgeous touch, with a warm, painterly rendering of both characters that feels more like a fantasy book illustration than typical toy packaging, which is how the MOTU Chronciles packaging is designed.

Ram Man and Fisto MOTU Chronicles Amazon Exclusive 2 Pack Review 4

The box art features a dramatic composition with Ram Man and Fisto facing off against Skeletor, whose skeletal visage lurks menacingly on the right side of the panel alongside a cosmic eclipse backdrop. You can see both figures through the window, and the painted portraits below really sell the intensity of this pairing.

Ram Man and Fisto MOTU Chronicles Amazon Exclusive 2 Pack Review 1

The back of the box showcases some fantastic painted artwork of both characters standing on a glowing volcanic rock ledge, with Ram Man in his red-visored helmet and Fisto raising that massive fist overhead. Along the bottom right you get the cross-sell imagery for the rest of the first Chronicles wave, featuring He-Man, Man-At-Arms, and Tri-Klops rendered in that same gritty, grounded art style.

Ram Man and Fisto MOTU Chronicles Amazon Exclusive 2 Pack Review 6

Here’s your look at the full loadout once you pull the tray out, and it’s a solid spread: a double-headed axe, translucent fist effect piece, silver mechanical fist, swap hands, and a pair of coiled spring accessories nestled between them.

Ram Man and Fisto MOTU Chronicles Amazon Exclusive 2 Pack Review 2

Without the spring extensions, you can really see the natural height difference between these two, with Ram Man standing noticeably shorter and stockier. I like how that compact proportioning makes his massive shoulder armor and wide chest plate feel even more exaggerated against Fisto’s taller, more athletic build.

Ram Man and Fisto MOTU Chronicles Amazon Exclusive 2 Pack Review 8

I love how you can see Ram Man’s spring-loaded leg extensions attached here, adding noticeable height so he and Fisto are nearly eye to eye when posed together. The crosshatch texture sculpted into those red skirt panels really pops up close, and Fisto’s segmented leg wraps with those olive and yellow bands give his lower half a completely different visual identity.

Ram Man and Fisto MOTU Chronicles Amazon Exclusive 2 Pack Review 7

Here’s the plain brown shipper box the set arrives in, keeping that collector-grade packaging safe during transit. It’s a simple SIOC mailer with the Chronicles sub-line stamped up top, and you’ll want to open it carefully since the inner box slides right out.

Ram Man and Fisto MOTU Chronicles Amazon Exclusive 2 Pack Review 5

Fisto

Fisto’s overall design balances heavy armor up top with more rugged, worn battlefield gear below, and the front-to-back consistency is impressive with the chest plate, layered belt, and knee guards all wrapping around naturally. The navy blue tunic underneath ties everything together, with its crosshatch fabric texture visible between the armor plates on both sides.

Fisto MOTU Chronicles Amazon Exclusive Review 6

The armor plating on Fisto’s chest and back genuinely looks like hammered sheets of metal, with fine scratches, surface texture, and subtle dents sculpted into every panel. The brown leather shoulder straps with their squared-off buckle details provide a nice functional touch, as if they’re the only things holding those heavy plates in place.

Fisto MOTU Chronicles Amazon Exclusive Review 7

From the side, you get a clear look at that sculpted metal plate strapped to his left thigh, complete with riveted edges and a raised shield-like emblem at its center. The alternate open hand on the left arm adds a welcome change of silhouette, and those chunky knee armor pieces have a forged look with their layered, overlapping segments.

Fisto MOTU Chronicles Amazon Exclusive Review 8

Fisto comes with a solid accessory spread, including a translucent blue fist effect, a swappable metal fist, and a standard open hand, giving you plenty of display options. I like how the translucent sculpt on the effect piece contrasts with the heavier, armored look of the metal fist swap.

Fisto MOTU Chronicles Amazon Exclusive Review 1

The segmented plating on that oversized fist has incredible depth to the sculpt, with individual armor panels, rivets, and seam lines carved into every section from the knuckles down through the gauntlet. You can see how the weathered silver finish on the fist ties into the chest armor, with those brown leather straps breaking up the metallic surface nicely. I do wish, however, that the fist was much larger.

Fisto MOTU Chronicles Amazon Exclusive Review 2

I love how well that translucent fist effect sells the uppercut pose, with the sculpted energy trailing behind the swing like a comet tail. The leather boot cuffs and knee guards add some nice visual weight to the lower half, keeping the figure grounded.

Fisto MOTU Chronicles Amazon Exclusive Review 3

Here’s a great shot of the alternate fist up close, and you can really appreciate how the mechanical sculpt runs seamlessly from the wrist cuff all the way through each finger joint. Fisto’s face sculpt deserves attention too, with that thick dark beard and furrowed brow carrying a lot of intensity beneath the swept-back hair.

Fisto MOTU Chronicles Amazon Exclusive Review 4

The layered sculpt on the translucent fist effect really shines up close, with individual finger shapes and jagged energy tendrils carved into the piece rather than just a smooth blob. You can see how it fits snugly over the gauntlet cuff, creating a clean transition between the armored wrist and the burst of sculpted energy.

Fisto MOTU Chronicles Amazon Exclusive Review 5

Ram Man

Ram Man has a great overall look that mixes weathered, patina’d metal on the massive shoulder armor and helmet with warm bronze tones on the chain links and accent plating, giving the whole upper body a worn, battle-tested feel. Below that heavy armor, the deep crimson tunic and dark segmented leg guards ground him as a bruiser-class warrior with a gladiator-meets-medieval aesthetic.

Ram Man MOTU Chonicles Amazon Exclusive Review 7

From the side, you get a great look at how the massive helmet curves down over the back of the head and connects to those oversized pauldrons, creating an almost seamless shell of armor protecting his neck and shoulders. The exposed arms contrast nicely against all that heavy plating, and you can see how the wrist gauntlets have a layered cuff design with distinct segments that wrap cleanly around the forearm.

Ram Man MOTU Chonicles Amazon Exclusive Review 8

Here’s the full accessory spread for Ram Man, and it’s a solid loadout: the coil leg extensions, the hatchet, and a pair of swappable fist hands. The fists have a gloved wrist cuff sculpted into them, so the swap between hand types stays visually consistent with the rest of his armored look.

Ram Man MOTU Chonicles Amazon Exclusive Review 4

Here you can see how Ram Man comes apart to accept the coil extensions, with the boots detaching cleanly at the knee so the coil pieces port directly into the boot tops. It’s a clever swap system, and having both sets of boots displayed alongside him really shows how straightforward the conversion is.

Ram Man MOTU Chonicles Amazon Exclusive Review 6

The front and rear comparison gives you a full picture of how Ram Man looks with the coil extensions installed, and I like how the back of the armor reveals a large recessed panel between the shoulder blades that you don’t really notice from the front. From behind, the skirt panels have a simpler, flatter cross-hatch pattern compared to the segmented, overlapping flaps up front, which is a nice subtle distinction between the two sides.

Ram Man MOTU Chonicles Amazon Exclusive Review 9

I love how the coil leg extensions on Ram Man’s legs look like they compress and stretch with the pose, selling the idea of a spring-loaded launch. The layered sculpt of wrapped bindings and segmented coils around his shins gives those extensions a real mechanical feel that pairs perfectly with the heavy armor up top.

Ram Man MOTU Chonicles Amazon Exclusive Review 1

The coil leg extensions look so cool up close, with that translucent yellow energy visible between the tightly wound green wraps creating a layered, almost pressurized look. You can also appreciate the textured cross-hatching on the red armored skirt panels and those tiny raised studs scattered across each flap, adding a lot of visual density to Ram Man’s midsection.

Ram Man MOTU Chonicles Amazon Exclusive Review 5

The double-headed hatchet is a great fit for Ram Man, and the chunky proportions of the blade head match the brawler aesthetic of his whole design. I like how the heavy shoulder armor and chain detailing across the pauldrons frame his upper body, making him look like a walking siege weapon even before you factor in the axe.

Ram Man MOTU Chonicles Amazon Exclusive Review 2

The hatchet has a nice wood look to it running down the shaft, with small rivets where the handle meets the dual blade heads. You can also see the small crescent-shaped pommel charm dangling from the base of the grip, which is a cool little detail that adds some personality to an otherwise brutal weapon.

By the power of Grayskull! I have been waiting for this one, and now that he’s finally here in hand, I can tell you the excitement is absolutely real. The Masters of the Universe Chronicles He-Man action figure from Mattel is here to celebrate the upcoming 2026 live action Masters of the Universe film, and he is gorgeous. For those of us who grew up with He-Man, whether it was the original Filmation cartoon, the 200x series, or even the beloved 1987 Dolph Lundgren movie, every new iteration of the Most Powerful Man in the Universe feels like a homecoming. This time around, the figure captures the likeness of actor Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man, and seeing a fresh face carry the mantle of Prince Adam into a new era is genuinely thrilling. So let’s take a look at the Masters of the Universe Chronicles He-Man in-hand review! At 6.5 inches, he fits right in with that sweet spot scale that collectors love to display. The sculpt features movie-accurate armor and weapons, and that 30 points of articulation gives you plenty of room to pose him in all kinds of dramatic stances. He comes with the iconic Power Sword (or Sword of Power, depending on which corner of the fandom you call home) and an alternate set of hands so you can switch up his grip and get creative with your posing. The packaging on this one is also worth mentioning. Mattel went with a deluxe window box design that honestly looks fantastic whether you’re an opener or a keep-it-sealed collector. It’s the kind of presentation that makes you pause before you tear into it. We want to give a huge thanks to Big Bad Toy Store for sending us this Masters of the Universe Chronicles He-Man for review, and if he has been on your must have list, you can still grab him now at Big Bad Toy Store.

He-Man-MOTU-Chronicles-IH-27

Packaging

The packaging features a dark, cosmic-themed box design with a painted portrait of actor Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man on the right side, showing him in his silver chest armor with a serious, determined expression. The Power Sword is secured in the tray beside the figure, its silver blade and crossguard catching the light nicely against the deep red and black backdrop artwork.

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 1

The back of the packaging features a dark, starfield-tinged design with artwork of He-Man holding the Power Sword aloft, standing on a volcanic rock surface bathed in orange and red lava light. Two inset photos on the right show the figure in different action poses, giving a good sense of the 30 points of articulation and the range of display options.

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 2

The opposite side panel showcases artwork of both He-Man and Skeletor flanking the Power Sword, with Skeletor’s skull face rendered in a menacing purple hood and red-eyed glare that contrasts nicely against He-Man’s more grounded, human portrait. The cosmic background shifts into deep purples and magentas on this side, with scattered star particles and an arcing energy trail that ties the two rivals together compositionally. This showcases the good vs. evil theme of the packaging with the two figures pitted against each other!

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 4

The side panel features a clear window cutout near the top, offering a peek at the figure’s blonde hair and shoulder armor through the plastic tray. Below, a painted portrait shows He-Man in his silver chest armor against a warm orange and red Eternian landscape, matching the cinematic tone of the front artwork.

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 3

He-Man sits in the open packaging tray with his dark brown leather-look loincloth, matching wrist guards, and tall boots all showing off a weathered, textured sculpt. An alternate pair of fisted hands is packed in the tray beside his legs, and the Power Sword sits secured to the left with its silver blade and brown-wrapped hilt, ready to swap in for posing.

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 5

Figure Details

He-Man stands in a full front view wearing his silver chest armor with a translucent red iron cross emblem at its center, paired with dark brown boots that rise just below the knee. The head sculpt captures Nicholas Galitzine’s likeness with swept, golden-blonde hair and a focused expression, and I like how the proportions feel true to the classic He-Man silhouette while still reading as a movie design.

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 6

From the back, He-Man’s chest armor has a silver V-shaped plate between the shoulder straps, with small rivet details sculpted into the brown leather harness that holds it in place. The loincloth wraps fully around with gold-toned diamond-shaped clasps along the bottom edge of each panel, and the segmented boot sculpt continues cleanly around the back of the calves.

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 8

From the side, He-Man’s dark brown wrist guard shows sculpted strapping detail, and his tall boots have a layered, segmented look with subtle buckle accents near the top. His golden-blonde hair has a nice wavy texture to the sculpt, swept back with individual strands defined along the side.

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 7

From this side profile, the sculpted strapping on He-Man’s harness wraps tightly around his torso, with the dark brown leather-look material sitting flush against the skin tone plastic. The gold-toned diamond clasps on the loincloth panels catch the eye from this angle, and the segmented boot tops show their buckle detailing running along the outer edge of each calf.

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 9

Armed with the Power Sword held out in a two-handed grip, He-Man looks great in an action pose that shows off the figure’s 30 points of articulation. The silver blade has a smooth, clean finish with a slightly curved crossguard that gives the weapon a distinct Eternian feel.

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 10

By the Power of Grayskull! He-Man holds the Power Sword aloft with one arm raised high, showcasing a classic heroic pose that really takes advantage of the shoulder and elbow articulation. The red iron cross emblem on his chest armor catches the light nicely from this angle, and the dark brown loincloth panels with their gold-toned clasps hang naturally with the figure’s stance.

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 11

He-Man stands with the Power Sword raised at his side, and the silver chest armor’s riveted shoulder straps sit snugly over each shoulder with a weathered metallic finish. I’m really digging the brown-wrapped hilt on the Power Sword, which has a nice contrast against the silver blade and crossguard.

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 12

From the back, He-Man holds the Power Sword up behind his shoulder as if sheathing it, and the blade lines up nicely against the harness strap running between his shoulder blades. The wavy texture of his golden-blonde hair sculpt shows good definition from this rear view, with individual locks layered over one another across the back of his head. Being this new 6.5″ scale, you will notice these figures have all new articulation, never before seen in a Masters of the Universe figure! There are butterfly joints in the chest and double jointed elbows and knees that all allow you to get He-Man into great poses! He can easily reach his sheath on his back!

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 13

He-Man raises the Power Sword overhead with a wide, grounded stance that really shows off the range of those 30 points of articulation. The weathered dark brown chest armor with its red cross emblem sits firmly against his torso, and the loincloth panels shift naturally with the pose. You can see how this new articulation allows you to get He-Man in some cool poses!

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 14

He-Man grips the Power Sword in a two-handed hold with his weight shifted low, and the alternate fisted hands swap works well here to lock the hilt firmly in both grips. It’s nice to see the dark brown wrist guard on the forearm contrasting against the silver crossguard of the sword at this close range.

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 15

He-Man grips the Power Sword low across his body in a two-handed hold, with the smooth silver blade angled forward and catching the light along its edge. The gold-toned medallion details on his belt are easy to spot here, sitting right above where the loincloth panels split at the front.

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 16

With those butterfly joints at his shoulders, you can now get He-Man into a double handed sword grasping pose!

He-Man-MOTU-Chronicles-IH-26

A close-up reveals the sculpt on He-Man’s face captures Nicholas Galitzine’s likeness with a stern, focused expression, sharp brow line, and slightly parted lips. The chest armor’s central shield features a translucent red iron cross set into a silver metallic frame, with small gold-toned rivets dotting the brown leather shoulder straps on either side.

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 17

The sculpt on the back of He-Man’s hair shows well-defined layers of wavy locks cascading down to just above the neckline, with each strand grouping separated by deep grooves that give the golden-blonde plastic real depth. The silver V-shaped back plate on his harness has a smooth, slightly pearlescent finish, flanked by the riveted brown leather straps that sit cleanly against his upper back.

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 22

A close-up of He-Man’s right wrist bracer shows a chunky, armor-plated design with a gold-toned oval medallion set into its center, flanked by sculpted brown leather panels with small rivet detailing along the edges. The metallic grey plating on the bracer has a weathered, aged look that matches the tone of his chest armor and belt hardware.

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 18

The sculpt on He-Man’s left wrist bracer shows the same armored plating design as the right, with a gold-toned oval medallion at its center and sculpted rivet details along the brown leather panels. I like how the segmented grey plating wraps around the forearm, with the edges sitting cleanly against the skin tone plastic just above the wrist joint.

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 19

A close-up of He-Man’s loincloth from the front shows the sculpted leather panels hanging in segmented strips, each with raised stitch lines running down the center and small gold-toned square clasps at the pointed tips. The belt buckle features a large round gold medallion set into a silver frame, with sculpted studs and gold accent dots running along the top edge of the belt on either side.

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 20

The rear view of He-Man’s loincloth shows the sculpted leather panels wrapping cleanly around the back, with the same raised stitch lines and dark brown tone continuing from the front. Each strip ends in a gold-toned square clasp at the tip, and the thick belt above features sculpted gold studs and a diamond-shaped buckle detail at center back.

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 23

The sculpt on He-Man’s boots shows impressive leather-like texture up close, with sculpted stitch lines running across the toe caps and multiple buckle straps wrapping around the shafts at different heights. The color shifts from a darker, almost black-brown on the lower foot portion to a warmer chocolate brown on the upper calf sections, with the folded boot tops adding a rugged, worn-in feel.

He Man MOTU Chronicles IH 21

The rear close-up of He-Man’s legs shows the knee articulation cuts sitting just above the boot tops, with the peach skin tone plastic forming a clean break before the dark brown leather-textured calf pieces begin. The sculpt on the back of the boots features layered strap detailing with small buckle accents and subtle stitch lines running along the seams, and the slightly glossier finish on the lower foot section adds a nice contrast against the matte upper portions.

I have been looking forward to this one since it was first revealed, and having the MOTU Core 4-Pack finally in hand, this one delivered. Amazon knocked it out with this exclusive set, packaging He-Man, Skeletor, Man-At-Arms, and the pack-exclusive Goat Man together in a box that honestly impressed me just on presentation alone. The shipper opens up to reveal artwork and illustrations on the inside that give the whole thing a premium feel before you even get to the figures. Goat Man is the star here and the real draw for collectors, standing noticeably larger than the other three and giving us a figure that you can only get through this set. He-Man has some subtle but meaningful differences from the standard retail Core release that we will break down in detail. Skeletor comes with a different paint app on the head sculpt, a soft goods cape, and a different wash compared to the retail version, making him more than just a simple repack. And then there is Man-At-Arms, who gives us our first real in-hand look at the character in the Core line ahead of his Wave 3 single release. Each figure here brings something a little different to the table, and as a complete package it all comes together really well. This is one I am really glad to have in the collection. If you have been eyeing this set, you can still grab the MOTU Core 4-Pack over at Amazon.

The shipper box features some nice illustrated details, with a jagged Eternian mountain range running along the bottom edge and what looks like a partial character line art peeking in from the right side. I always appreciate when they put a little extra effort into the shipping packaging, and these bold black ink illustrations on raw cardboard have a cool, almost screen-printed feel.

MOTU Core 4 PAck Amazon Exclusive Review 2

The inner flap artwork splits right down the middle, heroes bathed in fiery reds and oranges on the left, villains cloaked in deep purples on the right, with all four characters illustrated in a dramatic painterly style. Below, Man-At-Arms, He-Man, Skeletor, and Goat Man sit snug in the tray with their accessories, and I love how the color gradient behind each figure transitions from warm to cool to match the good-versus-evil theme of the artwork above.

Figure Details

I like lining up all four figures together like this, and you can really see how each one has its own distinct silhouette and color identity, from Goat Man’s towering horns and deep red skin to Man-At-Arms’ bulky orange armor on the opposite end. We’ll be diving into each figure individually below, but as a group they make one impressive lineup.

He-Man

Figure Details

Here’s a nice front-and-back turnaround of He-Man from the Core 4-Pack, and from the front you can see how the red iron cross on the chest plate pops against that cooler silver armor tone. The rear view reveals a clean, lighter-colored panel on the back of the harness with a smooth, almost satin-like finish that contrasts with the rougher texture of the leather elements surrounding it.

He Man MOTU Core 4 Pack Amazon Exclusive Review 9

Here’s a solid full-body look at He-Man from the Core 4-Pack, and you can see how the muscular sculpt on the torso carries clean definition through the abs and chest without feeling overdone. The boots and bracers share that same weathered leather texture as the loincloth, tying the whole outfit together with a consistent material feel.

He Man MOTU Core 4 Pack Amazon Exclusive Review 3

From the back, you can really appreciate the sculpted detail on He-Man’s loincloth, with each individual leather strip carrying its own stitching lines and squared-off metal studs at the tips. The harness wraps cleanly around the torso with riveted edges all the way around, and that cross-shaped buckle on the belt adds a nice finishing touch.

He Man MOTU Core 4 Pack Amazon Exclusive Review 2

You get a nice sense of how He-Man’s proportions work with the Power Sword raised overhead, the length of the blade complementing that broad, exaggerated upper body without overwhelming the figure. From the rear, the sculpted waves in his hair hold their volume and shape even with the arm positioned high, and you can see how the harness stays flush against the back without shifting or gapping.

He Man MOTU Core 4 Pack Amazon Exclusive Review 10

Side by side, the Core retail He-Man on the left and the Amazon exclusive 4-pack version on the right show some subtle but noticeable paint differences, particularly in the hair wash and the chest plate, where the exclusive version carries a noticeably darker silver tone. I like how you can compare the two and see the warmer, more orange-toned hair on the retail release versus the slightly cooler, more muted blonde on the Amazon version.

He Man MOTU Core 4 Pack Amazon Exclusive Review 1

Up close you can really see how the hair wash on the retail version sits heavier in the sculpted grooves, giving it more depth between the strands, while the 4-pack version has a lighter, more even application that lets the base blonde come through. The chest armor tells a similar story, with the retail He-Man’s plate carrying warmer undertones and the exclusive running cooler and flatter across those riveted edges.

He Man MOTU Core 4 Pack Amazon Exclusive Review 7

Here’s a great comparison of the Power Swords stored on the back harness, and honestly, they look identical in sculpt and finish, though the one on the left might read just slightly darker. I keep going back and forth on whether that’s a real difference or my eyes playing tricks on me, so you’ll have to judge for yourself.

He Man MOTU Core 4 Pack Amazon Exclusive Review 4

Man-At-Arms

Figure Details

Here’s a good look at the front and rear of Man At Arms, and you can really appreciate how much sculpted mechanical detail is packed into the armor plating, from the vented chest piece to the ridged knee guards and those tech-laden hip holsters on the utility belt. The back of the figure doesn’t slack off either, with panel lines and recessed vents running across the shoulder pads and torso armor that mirror the complexity of the front.

Man At Arms MOTU Core Amazon Exclusive Review 4

These side views really show off the asymmetry in the shoulder armor, with the left side featuring a smooth, rounded pauldron while the right carries a bulkier piece with concentric circular detail and louvered venting along the lower edge. It’s a subtle design choice that keeps him from looking too uniform, and the way the different shoulder pieces sit against the ribbed bodysuit underneath gives each side its own silhouette.

Man At Arms MOTU Core Amazon Exclusive Review 5

The face sculpt is really well done, with a furrowed brow, defined mustache, and a stern expression that carries a lot of character, and I love how the helmet sits snugly over it with those ridged grooves running front to back and small crest details above the brow line. The back of the chest armor is just as detailed as the front, with a butterfly-shaped plate featuring recessed vents and vertical channels, while the front carries that layered chest panel with a horizontal grill element at the base.

Man At Arms MOTU Core Amazon Exclusive Review 6

The front view shows those thigh guards with their sculpted slash marks and layered plating wrapping around each leg, while the rear reveals a cleaner look with just the knee pad caps and smooth bodysuit panels between the armor sections. You can see the shin guards have vented grill sections on the back that aren’t visible from the front, giving the legs a different texture depending on which angle you’re viewing from.

Man At Arms MOTU Core Amazon Exclusive Review 7

Man At Arms looks great dual-wielding his blaster and mace, and the combination of a compact sci-fi sidearm with that chunky, ornate mace gives him a nice blend of tech and medieval brutality. I love how the orange armor plating breaks up the darker bodysuit underneath, keeping everything visually interesting from head to toe.

Man At Arms MOTU Core Amazon Exclusive Review 1

The holster on his right thigh is a nice touch, with the blaster plugging snugly into a sculpted side port that keeps it secure and easily accessible. You can also see the segmented sculpt running along the mace’s handle, with each ring tapering down to a hefty cylindrical head.

Man At Arms MOTU Core Amazon Exclusive Review 2

The mace head has some noticeable paint crackling up close, similar to what we saw on the MOTU Chronicles version, so it seems like a recurring issue with this particular accessory mold. The blaster has a surprising amount of sculpted detail for its size, with vented barrel ports and layered grip texturing.

Man At Arms MOTU Core Amazon Exclusive Review 3

Skeletor

Figure Details

The front view shows off the full layered armor from head to toe, with the scalloped loincloth panels and those heavily textured boot wraps adding real visual weight to the lower half. Flipping him around, the soft goods cape hangs beautifully with its tattered, uneven hemline and torn holes near the bottom that sell a worn, weathered look you just can’t get with molded plastic.

Skeletor MOTU Core Amazon Exclusive 5

Skeletor fantastic with the Havoc Staff angled across his body, and that ram skull headpiece with its curling horns is loaded with sculpted ridges and a small gem nestled between the eyes. The hooded cowl frames that yellow skull face perfectly, pulling everything together into one cohesive look.

Skeletor MOTU Core Amazon Exclusive 4

You can see how both versions of Skeletor share the same muscular blue torso sculpt and layered armor, but the 4-Pack version on the left runs with a more muted, uniform tone across the body while the Core retail version on the right shows stronger separation between the skin and the purple armor pieces. The red gem on the chest harness and the skull belt buckle detail are consistent across both, though the deeper shadows in the Core version’s loincloth and boot straps really help those sculpted textures pop.

Skeletor MOTU Core Amazon Exclusive 3

Here are the two versions of Skeletor up close, and what a difference a paint app makes. The 4-Pack version on the left lacks the detailed paint apps found on the Core retail version, and you can see the Havoc Staff carries a noticeably darker wash compared to the cleaner, lighter finish on the retail Core staff.

Skeletor MOTU Core Amazon Exclusive 1

Here’s a great look at the differences from the back, where you can really appreciate how the soft goods cape on the left drapes with a natural fabric texture and tattered hem, while the sculpted plastic cape on the Core retail version features deeply carved folds and a braided spine detail running down the center. I like how the plastic cape holds its shape with that pointed cowl silhouette, whereas the cloth version sits looser and lets more of the underlying figure peek through.

Skeletor MOTU Core Amazon Exclusive 2

Goat Man

Figure Details

Here’s a good look at Goat Man from the front and back, and I should mention the figure is a consistent red throughout, the difference in shade you’re seeing between the two views is just the lighting playing tricks. From the rear, you can really appreciate the muscular definition sculpted into the back and calves, plus those hooved feet with tufts of fur around the ankles are a great detail I didn’t fully appreciate from the front alone.

Goat Man MOTU Core Amazon Exclusive REview 4

The side profile really shows off how the segmented loin armor wraps around the hip, with each rectangular plate individually sculpted and fastened by riveted straps that continue down the thigh. You can also appreciate the layered construction from this angle, where the leather skirt sits underneath and peeks out just above the armor panels.

Goat Man MOTU Core Amazon Exclusive REview 5

The front view reveals how the cross-harness straps converge at a central decorative clasp right at the sternum, while the back shows that same harness forming a clean V-shape between the shoulder blades with a horizontal strap tying it all together at mid-back. I like how the belt’s copper-toned centerpiece has a slightly different relief pattern on each side, giving the front a more symmetrical crest design while the rear features a rougher, more organic sculpt.

Goat Man MOTU Core Amazon Exclusive REview 6

The head sculpt on Goat Man is something else, with deep furrows carved into the brow and pointed ears that jut out sharply from the sides. I really like how the white war paint drips down from the lower lip and across the chin, almost like it’s been smeared on mid-frenzy, contrasting hard against that red skin.

Goat Man MOTU Core Amazon Exclusive REview 2

Goat Man looks incredible with that massive double axe, and I love the textured hammered finish sculpted into each blade. The weapon’s sheer size paired with his broad, muscular build and heavy leather armor makes for one imposing combination.

Goat Man MOTU Core Amazon Exclusive REview 1

You can see how the curling ram horns have a nice ridged texture that spirals all the way around, and the leather harness crossing his chest has individual rivet details pressed into each strap. That ornate belt piece sitting at the waist has carved filigree work that really separates it from the rougher, segmented tassets hanging below.

I have been looking forward to this one since the first wave of MOTU Core figures hit and we got our initial taste of what Mattel had planned for the 2026 live action movie line. Wave 1 brings us He-Man, Teela, and Beast Man, and having all three in hand now, this wave hit in a way I was not expecting. For those of us who grew up with the vintage line, seeing these characters reimagined through the lens of a new film while still carrying the DNA of what made them iconic brings me back to when I was a kid experiencing these figures for the first time. He-Man features the likeness of Nicholas Galitzine and comes with his Sword of Power, Teela carries the likeness of Camila Mendes and ships with both a sword and a blaster, and Beast Man rounds out the wave on the villain side with his classic whip accessory. At 5.5-inch scale with 14 points of articulation each, these pack a surprising amount of posability and detail for the price point. The sculpts across the board are clean, the paint apps are solid for a Core release, and lined up together they really start to fill out the movie roster in a fun way. This is a really strong entry in the line and one I am really happy to have on the shelf. Huge thanks to Big Bad Toy Store for sending over He-Man, Teela, and Beast Man for review, and if these have been on your must have list, you can still grab them now at Big Bad Toy Store.

Where to Buy

You can find the figures at BBTS:

MOTU Core Wave 1

MOTU Core Wave 1 kicked things off with He-Man, Beast Man, and Teela, and seeing all three together really sets the tone for the line. A strong trio to launch with.

MOTU Core Wave 1 Beast Man Teela He Man 1

He-Man

Packaging

The front of the card features a purple-to-orange cosmic gradient with He-Man displayed in a blister, holding his Power Sword packed in. The back of the card shows illustrated artwork of Beast Man perched on a rocky ledge near a castle tower, with Teela posed below, and includes a character bio with stat bars for Strength, Combat, Intelligence, Magic, and Tech, with Strength and Combat maxed out while Magic and Tech sit on the lower end, which is odd because magic makes him He-Man.

He Man MOTU Core Figure Review 6

Figure Details

Front and back views give a full look at He-Man, with the silver and red chest harness, dark brown loin armor, matching forearm guards, and tall boots. The boots have a layered cuff design with buckled straps and rivet studs that carry the same medieval leather aesthetic as the rest of the outfit.

He Man MOTU Core Figure Review 7

The chest harness features a metallic silver breastplate with a bold red iron cross at its center, framed by darker brown shoulder straps with riveted detailing sculpted along the edges. That head sculpt is really solid, capturing Nicholas Galitzine’s likeness with a serious expression, strong brow line, and wavy blonde hair that flows just above the shoulders.

He Man MOTU Core Figure Review 2

The front of the loin armor is sculpted with overlapping leather strips, each lined with stitched seam detailing and capped with small diamond-shaped rivets at the tips. The belt buckle at the center carries a silver medallion with some intricate detail, and the forearm guards have a dark brown leather finish with rivet studs running along the surface.

He Man MOTU Core Figure Review 5

The back of the harness has a slot between the shoulder straps where the Sword of Power sheathes using pressure, and it holds snugly in place with the blade resting flat against the back. The loin armor wraps around with sculpted leather strips, each tipped with small diamond-shaped metal studs and a thick belt secured by a square buckle at the waist.

He Man MOTU Core Figure Review 4

The Power Sword has a clean silver finish across the blade, crossguard, and pommel. The crossguard has a sculpted winged design with raised ridges, and the grip has a wrapped texture with a rounded pommel cap at the end.

He Man MOTU Core Figure Review 1

He-Man grips the Sword of Power with both hands, and the pose gives the figure a solid, grounded look that works well for the character. The sword has a pale silvery finish with a distinctive crossguard, and it scales nicely against the figure’s proportions.

He Man MOTU Core Figure Review 3

He-Man holds the Sword of Power high overhead in a classic summoning pose, recreating the iconic “By the Power of Grayskull” moment nicely with the figure’s articulation.

He Man MOTU Core Figure Review 8

Teela

Packaging

The front of the card uses a bold split color scheme with fiery oranges and deep magentas framing the blister, while the back shifts to a warm feel with Castle Grayskull and Beast Man and He-Man alongside Teela’s bio panel, which breaks her abilities down across Strength, Combat, Intelligence, Magic, and Tech, with Combat and Intelligence rating the highest.

Teela MOTU Core Figure Review 9

Figure Details

The front and back views show Teela’s full outfit, with the gold bodice featuring a crosshatch scale texture over a white undersuit, black leather-look wrist guards, black strapping and holster across the hips, and deep red knee-high boots with sculpted wrinkles at the ankles. From the back, her bright orange hair falls in thick sculpted waves past her shoulders, and the gold and white color blocking continues cleanly across the rear of the suit.

Teela MOTU Core Figure Review 10

The side profile shows the scale texture wrapping cleanly around the torso, with the white undersuit peeking through at the midsection and the black hip strapping sitting flush against the waist. The sculpted waves of Teela’s red hair have nice separation between the individual strands.

Teela MOTU Core Figure Review 11

The sword has a warm gold metallic finish with a pointed crossguard and a diamond-shaped detail etched into the blade, while the balaster is noticeably compact next to it.

Teela MOTU Core Figure Review 3

Posed with her sword held across her chest and the small blaster gripped low, Teela cuts a sharp silhouette with both accessories in play and she looks great all geared up. The gold sword has a clean, warm tone that pairs well against the red boots and dark wrist guard, and the compact blaster reads nicely as a secondary weapon without getting lost. I do wish that the blaster had a peg so it could attach to her body and the sword could sheath in her back using pressure like He-Man.

Teela MOTU Core Figure Review 2

The pistol gets a nice close-up here, and the molded details on the barrel and cylinder are sharper than you’d expect for an accessory this small. Teela’s grip on it is secure, with the fingers wrapping cleanly around the handle.

Teela MOTU Core Figure Review 4

Teela is posed with her sword extended forward and the pistol aimed outward, both weapons deployed in a full combat stance. The dark gray wrist guards and the warm gold of her bodice catch the light nicely against the bright red hair cascading over her shoulders.

Teela MOTU Core Figure Review 6

Teela and He-Man and look great together, their outfits sharing a complimentary color palette that ties the designs to the same world.

Teela MOTU Core Figure Review 8

Beast Man

Packaging

The front of the Beast Man packaging features fiery card art with the character’s snarling face and red-orange fur framing the blister, where the figure is displayed alongside his whip accessory. The back of the card shows He-Man and Teela illustrated in a rocky Eternian landscape, with a photo of Beast Man below and his stat bars listing Strength, Combat, Intelligence, Magic, and Tech, with Strength and Combat rated the highest.

Beast Man MOTU Core Figure Review 10

Figure Details

The front and back views give a full look at Beast Man’s sculpt, with the massive red fur mane covering his upper torso and studded with ivory horns that continue around to the back, where a small brown pouch sits on his teal loincloth belt. His tan fur-covered body is detailed with sculpted texture from head to toe, with spiked black shin guards up front and dark wrist cuffs on both arms, while the back view shows the loincloth panels hanging with a stitched leather texture.

Beast Man MOTU Core Figure Review 11

The side profile shows the depth of Beast Man’s oversized red fur mane, which juts out well past his shoulders and wraps around to the back of his head, with the ivory horns protruding at sharp angles. The spiked black shin guards hug the front of each leg from this angle, and the teal loincloth panels drape with a slight outward flare at the bottom.

Beast Man MOTU Core Figure Review 12

The front and back close-ups highlight the gold starburst medallion pinned at the center of the red fur mane, with a small blue gem at its core. The chest harness and loincloth panels have a convincing leather-like texture with embossed scroll patterning and visible stitch lines, all sculpted in plastic but selling the material illusion well.

Beast Man MOTU Core Figure Review 13

The spiked black shin guards wrap tightly around Beast Man’s lower legs, with thick rounded studs and tapered spikes protruding outward, all sculpted in a dark plastic that contrasts well against the tan fur texture underneath. His bare feet extend below with individually sculpted toes and clawed nails, adding a feral detail that pairs well with the heavy armored shins.

Beast Man MOTU Core Figure Review 1

The whip has a tightly braided texture that tapers to a thin tip, molded in a dark teal-black plastic.

Beast Man MOTU Core Figure Review 5

Beast Man looks great posed with his whip arcing overhead, the braided rope texture on the whip reading really well at this scale. The massive red fur mane framing his snarling face, ivory horns, and the gold starburst medallion at his chest all pop nicely in this close-up.

Beast Man MOTU Core Figure Review 4

Two views show the whip posed in different configurations, with the braided rope arcing high overhead on the left and held taut across the torso on the right. The flexible material holds both shapes well, giving you some real variety in how they display Beast Man on the shelf.

Beast Man MOTU Core Figure Review 14

I had to bring int the MOTU Origins Beast Man here as the Core Beast Man and the Origins Movie Beast Man are almost like two different figures side by side. The MOTU Origins Movie version on the right towers slightly larger with a soft goods red fur collar, orange hair, a gold ornate medallion, dark leather-like skirt panels, and spiked shoulder armor, and reads more like a commander compared to the Core’s feral scrapper.

Beast Man MOTU Core Figure Review 9

You can also see how both head sculpts are different enough to appear as different figures of the same species.

Beast Man MOTU Core Figure Review 2

When standing up, for a height comparison, the two are closely matched in scale, with the Origins Beast Man beating out the core figure by at least an inch.

Beast Man MOTU Core Figure Review 3

Here are some fun shots as Teela presses forward with her sword, and the size difference between the two really sells the mismatch of the encounter.

Beast Man MOTU Core Figure Review 6

He-Man fends off a brutal attack from Beast Man, using the Sword of Power to catch the whip mid-swing as the whip wraps around the blade. The whole scene has a real scrappy energy to it and just shows how fun these figures can be.
