Hadouken! Well, not exactly, because we’re talking about the wild man of the World Warriors himself, Blanka! We’ve been covering Jada Toys’ awesome Ultra Street Fighter II line, including our look at the Sagat and Blanka preorder and official images, and now Entertainment Earth is bringing us something really cool with this glow-in-the-dark exclusive version of Blanka that I am super excited about. This 6-inch scale action figure features glow-in-the-dark plastic that captures all of Blanka’s Electric Thunder energy, and it comes loaded with interchangeable heads, hands, and Electric Thunder effect pieces along with 20 points of articulation. The premium arcade-style window box packaging is such a nice touch for display collectors too. How amazing is that?! This one is priced at $39.99 with a June 2026 ship date, and you can lock in your preorder now through our affiliate partner Entertainment Earth at this link. I always loved Blanka as a character, that feral fighting style and the backstory of growing up in the Brazilian jungle, and seeing him rendered in glow-in-the-dark plastic just feels so right for a fighter whose signature move is literally coursing with electricity. So let’s take a look at the Ultra Street Fighter II Blanka Glow-in-the-Dark EE Exclusive!

Where to Buy

You can preorder the figures at the following retailers below

Ultra Street Fighter II Blanka Glow in the Dark 8

Ultra Street Fighter II Blanka Glow-in-the-Dark 6-Inch Scale Action Figure

The packaging here is a real treat for Street Fighter fans, designed to mimic an arcade screen with a score display, K.O. bar, and player indicators running across the top. The lower portion features classic Street Fighter II artwork of Blanka against a dark blue backdrop, with the overall box framed like a premium window display that lets you see the full figure and all his accessories inside.

Ultra Street Fighter II Blanka Glow in the Dark 8

Here’s a closer look at the packaging from a slight angle, and you can really appreciate how the window section wraps around the corner, giving you a nice view of Blanka’s glow-in-the-dark green skin and those translucent Electric Thunder effect pieces nestled alongside him. The bottom of the box is styled like an arcade control panel complete with a joystick and six attack buttons, which is such a fun design touch that ties the whole presentation together.

Ultra Street Fighter II Blanka Glow in the Dark 9

Blanka comes with a solid spread of accessories laid out here, including a massive Electric Thunder effect piece molded in translucent yellow-green that captures those chaotic, branching bolts of electricity perfectly. The alternate head features a wide-open screaming expression with bared fangs, mounted on a stand alongside a pair of swap-out hands, and I like how the orange chest tuft and ankle shackles pop against that eerie glow-in-the-dark green skin tone.

Ultra Street Fighter II Blanka Glow in the Dark 1

Blanka’s face sculpt is full of personality here, with deep-set white eyes, a furrowed brow, and that signature clenched-teeth snarl framed by his wild shock of orange hair. You can see how the flame-shaped tufts of orange body hair are scattered across his shins and thighs, mirroring the texture of his mane and tying the whole design together nicely.

Ultra Street Fighter II Blanka Glow in the Dark 2

Sporting his ragged red shorts with sculpted white fraying at the waist and leg openings, Blanka looks absolutely feral here, and I’m really digging how those red ankle shackles sit heavy around his lower legs like relics of his wild origin story. His hands swap between a clenched fist and a splayed, clawed grip with sharp white nails, giving you some great options for posing across those 20 points of articulation.

Ultra Street Fighter II Blanka Glow in the Dark 3

I’m really digging the glow-in-the-dark effect in full darkness, where the green plastic radiates with an almost radioactive intensity that completely transforms Blanka into something otherworldly. His wild orange hair and red shorts nearly disappear into shadow, leaving that glowing green skin as the dominant feature, and the sculpted details like his snarling mouth and bare feet still read surprisingly well even when lit entirely by the figure’s own eerie luminescence.

Ultra Street Fighter II Blanka Glow in the Dark 5

The Electric Thunder effect pieces absolutely come alive in the dark, glowing with the same intense green as Blanka’s skin and creating a full scene of crackling energy that wraps around him in jagged, forking tendrils. It’s cool to see how the effect pieces and the figure itself glow at the same consistent intensity, so everything blends together into one unified burst of electricity rather than feeling like separate add-ons.

Ultra Street Fighter II Blanka Glow in the Dark 6

Covered in that eerie glow-in-the-dark green from head to toe, Blanka looks massive here, and you can really appreciate the sculpted chest star of brown fur against the luminous skin. The tattered edges of his red shorts and the grey fraying at the knee openings have a nice weathered texture that contrasts well with the smooth, almost unearthly finish of his bare skin.

Ultra Street Fighter II Blanka Glow in the Dark 7

Here’s a closer look at Blanka from the side, and the sheer volume of that orange mane is impressive, with each individual spike sculpted to sweep back aggressively from his scalp all the way down past his shoulders. The red shackle bands on his wrists and ankles have a slightly translucent quality that separates them from the matte finish of his shorts, and his splayed fingers with those sharp white nails really sell the feral, animalistic energy.

Yo Joe! Huge thanks to @toyhuntersholler for the heads up that the @thefullforcepodcast posted these images, with image credit going to Ferdinand Estrada and Te Ace, because boy are we thrilled to get an early look at what appears to be Wave 8 of the Super7 GI Joe ReAction+ line! While nothing has been officially confirmed yet by Super7, this leaked lineup is already sending the Joe community into a frenzy, and honestly I completely understand why. From what we can see, this wave looks like it includes some really cool picks. Deep Six is a fantastic inclusion and one I know a lot of collectors have been waiting on. Lady Jaye looks like the version fans always felt she deserved, and the community seems to agree. Color changing Zartan is looking amazing as always, because let’s be honest, you can never have enough Zartan. And then there’s a Ninja Force Cobra Commander, which is absolutely wild and has everyone buzzing. Is it based on a lost vintage concept? Plus the accessories come on a sprew like the old days! A deep cut reference? I love that Super7 keeps swinging for the fences with unexpected choices like this, it’s what makes this line so much fun to collect. The ReAction+ format continues to be one of my favorite things happening in the Joe collecting space right now. Super7 has such a great handle on blending that retro charm with just enough modern detail to keep us all coming back wave after wave. So let’s take a look at the leaked images for Wave 8 of the Super7 GI Joe ReAction+ line!

Here’s a closer look at the four carded figures making up this leaked wave, and it’s a wild lineup. Lady Jaye’s card art features a gorgeous painted portrait of her in classic olive drab, while the Ninja Force Cobra Commander card swaps the traditional blue backing for a hot pink that immediately sets it apart from any previous release.

Wave 8 GI Joe Super7 ReAction+ Leaked 1

Here is an image of Deep 6 and it looks like it came from local Super7 distributor in an online platform. Deep Six’s card art shows him in his classic yellow vest and white helmet, gripping a red tool against a green backdrop. I like how the figure’s simplified sculpt nails the essentials, with his yellow tank top, blue jeans, and white helmet all matching the illustrated version above him.

Deep Six Super7 ReAction+ Wave 8 Card Front

Snake Eyes’ card carries that same hot pink backing, with dramatic artwork showing him mid-leap in his red and black Ninja Force gear, surrounded by throwing stars and weapons. The figure itself sits in the blister wearing a striking red, black, and tan color scheme that’s a far cry from his classic all-black look, and I’m really digging how committed this deco is to the Ninja Force aesthetic.

Wave 8 GI Joe Super7 ReAction+ Leaked 2

We also got a sneak peek at the rear cross sell thanks to tacticaltoyboxbydocjm on Instagram via @ gijoeforever. You will notice there is a Cobra Viper Gunner shown on the cross sell yet to be revealed!

Spiderman, Spiderman does what ever a spider can! Spins a web, any size, Catches thieves just like flies, Look Out! Here comes the Spider-Man. Huge thanks to @mcucollector24 , mrstevie18 and geektastic.plastic for posting images of this super exciting reveal from this year’s Spring 2026 Marvel Legends livestream. Hasbro is bringing us a Marvel Legends SDCC 2026 exclusive Spider-Man 3 pack inspired by the classic Spiderman ’67 animated cartoon series! This marks the first official SDCC exclusive of the season and I can’t be more excited! I’m literarily singing the theme song in my head as we speak! The set includes Spider-Man, Lizard, and Electro, all styled after that wonderfully retro 1967 animated series that so many of us grew up watching in reruns and that has become an absolute cornerstone of Spider-Man pop culture. I love how Hasbro keeps dipping into animated source material for these Marvel Legends releases, and going all the way back to the 60’s show is such a fun deep cut. The simplified, stylized look of that cartoon is so iconic, and seeing it translated into action figure form is really cool. Of course, being an SDCC exclusive means getting your hands on this one could be a challenge, but we’ll keep you updated as more details come in regarding pricing and availability. With great power comes great responsibility! So let’s take a look at the Marvel Legends Spider-Man 60’s Animated Cartoon 3 Pack SDCC 2026 Exclusive!

Marvel Legends Spider Man 60’s Animated Cartoon 3 Pack SDCC 2026 Exclusive 1

The packaging for this three-pack leans hard into the 1960s animated aesthetic, with a retro TV-shaped window box framing all three figures inside. The illustrated artwork on the top box captures that classic low-budget cartoon energy perfectly, with Spider-Man swinging through a chaotic scene featuring Lizard and Electro. Here’s a closer look at the packaging in hand, and the retro TV box design really sells itself as a display piece on its own. The gold-toned border with those circular dial details on the right side commits fully to the vintage television motif, making this feel less like a toy box and more like a miniature prop from the era.

Marvel Legends Spider Man 60’s Animated Cartoon 3 Pack SDCC 2026 Exclusive 2

The back of the box showcases that same illustrated artwork from the top panel, with Spider-Man mid-swing dodging Lizard’s claws and Electro’s lightning bolts in a scene that nails the show’s limited animation style. I like the way the muted, washed-out color palette on the illustration matches the kind of faded print quality you’d expect from packaging of that era.

Marvel Legends Spider Man 60’s Animated Cartoon 3 Pack SDCC 2026 Exclusive 3

Here’s a closer look at the back of the box layout, which breaks the design into comic book-style panels that frame each figure and their full accessory spread. I like how the illustrated vignettes in the corners pull from iconic moments of the show, including Spidey snapping photos and a fun “Psst!” gag panel that leans into the meme-worthy reputation the series has earned over the decades.

Marvel Legends Spider Man 60’s Animated Cartoon 3 Pack SDCC 2026 Exclusive 4

Spider-Man’s head sculpt really commits to the animated source material, with those large, angular white eyes set against the red mask and black web lines that feel intentionally thick and simplified. The black spider emblem on his chest has that same flat, graphic quality, keeping everything consistent with the cel-shaded aesthetic.

Marvel Legends Spider Man 60’s Animated Cartoon 3 Pack SDCC 2026 Exclusive 7

You can see how the front and back views together reveal the clean separation between the red and blue sections of Spider-Man’s suit, with the web pattern stopping precisely where the blue takes over on his back and legs. The boots have that same thick web-line detailing carried down from the mask, and the red belt sits as a simple, flat band at the waist, keeping everything true to the show’s stripped-down design language. I love how they recreated this classic scene using two Spider Man figures! Darn, now I gotta buy 2 sets, LOL!

Marvel-Legends-Spider-Man-60’s-Animated-Cartoon-3-Pack-SDCC-2026-Exclusive-17

Spider-Man sports a classic red and blue suit with a simplified, cel-shaded look that matches the flat coloring style of the original cartoon. He comes loaded with accessories, including a camera, a web line, web net pieces, an unmasked Peter Parker head, and a generous assortment of swappable hands in both red and webbed red varieties. You can see how the proportions and smooth surface detailing are meant to evoke the look of hand-drawn animation cels translated into three dimensions. You can notice this especially with Spiderman as he does not have the web markings on his chest, as this is how he appeared illustrated on the cartoon as to make the drawing of Spiderman in action poses easier for the illustrators!

Marvel-Legends-Spider-Man-60’s-Animated-Cartoon-3-Pack-SDCC-2026-Exclusive-14

I love how Spider Man comes with a pointing figure so you can reenact scenes from the cartoon! One thing I noticed right away is how the simplified sculpting across all three figures commits to the flat, angular style of that 1960s animation rather than going for modern proportions.

Marvel-Legends-Spider-Man-60’s-Animated-Cartoon-3-Pack-SDCC-2026-Exclusive-16

Spider-Man’s unmasked Peter Parker head has a simple, almost cartoonishly rounded sculpt with brown hair and minimal facial detail that stays faithful to the animated show’s lack of nuance. Something I appreciate here is how the swap between masked and unmasked portraits completely changes the figure’s personality without breaking the overall aesthetic.

Marvel-Legends-Spider-Man-60’s-Animated-Cartoon-3-Pack-SDCC-2026-Exclusive-13

Another look at unmasked Spider Man. That animated Peter Parker head looks excellent!

Marvel-Legends-Spider-Man-60’s-Animated-Cartoon-3-Pack-SDCC-2026-Exclusive-15

The Lizard

Lizard’s head sculpt is something else, with that wide-open mouth revealing a bright red interior and a forked tongue that looks like it was pulled straight from a frame of the cartoon. Those oversized white eyes with their slightly off-kilter pupils nail the goofy, expressive quality the show was known for.

Marvel Legends Spider Man 60’s Animated Cartoon 3 Pack SDCC 2026 Exclusive 9

Lizard wears his signature white lab coat over green scaly skin, paired with torn purple pants that feel right out of the show. His accessories include two alternate portrait heads with different expressions, extra fists, a beaker set with flasks, and a small test tube.

Marvel-Legends-Spider-Man-60’s-Animated-Cartoon-3-Pack-SDCC-2026-Exclusive-20

Lizard’s full figure view really lets you take in the contrast between that crisp white lab coat and the rich purple of his torn pants, with the green skin tying everything together in that unmistakable cartoon color palette. I’m really digging the sculpted toes on those oversized reptilian feet, with each claw individually defined and painted in a darker green that separates them from the lighter skin tone of his limbs.

Marvel-Legends-Spider-Man-60’s-Animated-Cartoon-3-Pack-SDCC-2026-Exclusive-19

That face with the tongue sticking out if my absolute favorite for The Lizard!

Marvel-Legends-Spider-Man-60’s-Animated-Cartoon-3-Pack-SDCC-2026-Exclusive-18

A close-up on Lizard’s alternate portrait shows a completely different expression, with his brow furrowed and those same off-center pupils now angled downward into a furious scowl.

Marvel-Legends-Spider-Man-60’s-Animated-Cartoon-3-Pack-SDCC-2026-Exclusive-21

The mouth is stretched wide in what looks like a full snarl, with that same bright red interior contrasting against the olive green skin, and the deeper wrinkle lines sculpted around his cheeks and nose bridge give this head a noticeably angrier read than the other.

Marvel Legends Spider Man 60’s Animated Cartoon 3 Pack SDCC 2026 Exclusive 10

Electro’s packaging window gives a great look at how that starburst mask dominates his portrait, with the jagged yellow points radiating outward and framing his snarling face, mouth wide open with teeth and tongue fully sculpted. The dark web net accessory draped across his fists adds a nice story beat, like he’s ripping through one of Spider-Man’s traps mid-fight. A closer look at the TV dials on the packaging shows that the knobs are tuned in to channel 7 and 19 & 67 for 1967 cartoon!

Marvel Legends Spider Man 60’s Animated Cartoon 3 Pack SDCC 2026 Exclusive 12

Electro’s full figure view lets you take in the yellow stripe running down each outer leg, breaking up the matte green of the suit with a sharp color split that mirrors the yellow trunks and boot cuffs. His fists are sculpted in bright yellow with clean separation at the gloves, and the overall proportions feel lanky and exaggerated in a way that’s faithful to how the character was drawn in the show.

Marvel-Legends-Spider-Man-60’s-Animated-Cartoon-3-Pack-SDCC-2026-Exclusive-22

Electro features his classic green and yellow costume with that unmistakable starburst mask sculpted in yellow. I like how they loaded him up with translucent white and yellow lightning bolt effects, electrical blast pieces, and yellow bolt accessories that let you really deck him out.

Yo Joe June 2026 is already heating up before it even officially kicks off, because a fresh batch of G.I. Joe Classified Series preorders just surfaced on the Walmart website, and thanks to @fullforcepodcast on Instagram for decoding the cryptic listing names, we now know what we’re looking at. The lineup includes Iceberg, Toxo-Viper, Mistress Armada, Rugged Duke, and one more figure that remains a mystery for now, all listed under coded names like “SK Hippocampus,” “SK Professor,” and “SK Cmdr Feral” that required a bit of detective work to crack. Each figure is priced at $27.97 with a September 1, 2026 ship date, and if you’ve been collecting this line for any length of time, you know Walmart preorder windows on leaked listings don’t tend to stay open forever. This wave joins the Snake Eyes Varmint and Cobra Viper Stealth Flight Pod 2-Pack plus a Legacy Classified Series figure that leaked a few weeks ago, which means the Yo Joe June reveals Hasbro has planned could be substantial when they finally pull back the curtain with official images and details. Iceberg is a deep cut that longtime Joe fans have been waiting on for a while now, and Toxo-Viper is the kind of Cobra specialist that always gets collectors fired up because the original vintage figure had such a distinctive look. Mistress Armada is an interesting one and will expand the Iron Grenadiers lineup, while a “Rugged Duke” variant hints at a fresh take on the team’s iconic field leader. We still don’t have official photos for any of these since they dropped as placeholder listings, but given the momentum building from Hasbro’s recent Fanstream reveals, it feels like the puzzle pieces are falling into place for a massive preorder drop in June 2026 to celebrate GI Joe. Preorder links for the five listings are live through our Walmart right now: Hippocampus (Iceberg), Professor (Toxo-Viper), Rugged Duke, Cmdr Feral (Mistress Armada), and the fifth TBH figure. Grab them while you can, because once official images drop during Yo Joe June, these could move fast.

Where to Buy

The figures are available to preorder now on Walmart and, come Yo Joe June, 2026, at the other following retailers below:

Yo Joe June 2026: What We Know

Here are the name only reveals and the figures we know that are going up for preorder based on leaked Walmart listings and GI Joe FanStream info!

Several upcoming figures were revealed by name only, including Toxo Viper V1 as a troop builder, Mistress Armada to expand the Iron Grenadiers lineup, Psyche-Out as a new addition to the Classified Series, and a new version of Duke described as a mission-specific redesign with a different visual direction from previous releases.

Mistress Armada was also confirmed for the line, adding to the growing Iron Grenadiers roster. The team noted that this is a character they have wanted to bring into the Classified Series for some time, and her inclusion helps further build out Destro’s faction with a more unified aesthetic.

Name Only Reveals GI Joe Classified 1

Psyche-Out was introduced as an all-new addition to the Classified Series, marking his debut in the line. While details remain under wraps, the team emphasized that his unique role within the G.I. Joe universe makes him a particularly interesting character to translate into figure form.

Name Only Reveals GI Joe Classified 2

Toxo Viper V1 was revealed as an upcoming troop builder that will be part of a future mainline wave. While no images were shown, the team teased that the design is already in progress and will be revealed in more detail during YoJoe June. The character is expected to bring a distinct visual style to the Classified line, continuing the push to expand Cobra’s specialized ranks.

Duke

A new version of Duke was teased as a mission-specific redesign that will differ from previous releases. The team hinted at a more rugged look and a different visual direction, suggesting this version will stand apart from the more traditional interpretations of the character.

Digital Render Reveal

The Ninja Force 2-pack featuring Scarlett and J’tbang was also highlighted as part of the upcoming lineup, bringing a bold and colorful take on the characters with a strong emphasis on stylized ninja gear and accessories. The 2-pack showcases a bold and colorful design approach. Both figures come with multiple masks, including animal and demon-inspired designs, along with a wide range of ninja weapons and gear. Scarlett’s design draws from her vintage look with updated proportions, while the overall set emphasizes stylized ninja elements and bright color applications consistent with the Ninja Force theme.

Word just came in that Evil-Lyn is making her way into the MOTU Core movie line, and this is exactly the kind of intel that gets me fired up because it means Mattel is continuing to build out the villain side of this lineup in a meaningful way. This is most likely not shocking news but it’s surprising that we have not seen her in the initial release of Skeletor’s baddies as she is the right hand woman of the Evil Lord of Destruction. We received a tip from an anonymous source who has seen hard evidence that a Core Evil-Lyn is on the way, and while we don’t have specifics on packaging, accessories, or wave placement just yet, what I can tell you is that when tips like this come our way, they have a neae perfect track record of panning out. If you look at the recent official images that have surfaced of late with 200x Deluxe Whiplash, Masterverse Vintage Collection Wun-Dar, MOTU Origins Slime Pit, and the new MOTU Origins 4-Pack, this will tell you that we are usually right on the money with early intel!

Evil Lyn 2026 Masters of the Universe Movie

Wave 5?

With Mattel having already pulled back the curtain on the Core Wave 3 and 4 figure assortments, the natural question becomes where exactly Evil-Lyn fits into the picture, and there are a couple of possibilities that make a lot of sense right now. Wave 3 currently includes He-Man v2 and Man-At-Arms v2, and the Wave 1 Beast Man as we gathered from the Wave 3 in-package images that surfaced on eBay. Entertainment Earth has already spec’d out Tri-Klops, Teela, Ram Man, and a translucent Skeletor for Wave 4. This would make Evil-Lyn a trong candidate for a Wave 5 as she could just as easily be the opening salvo of a Wave 5 assortment, which would signal that Mattel has even more planned for this Core line than we initially thought. Only time will tell on the exact placement, but either way the puzzle pieces are starting to come together for collectors who have been following this line closely. For now, if you want a sense of what this figure might look like, the MOTU Chronicles Evil-Lyn offers a solid reference point since the sculpts across both lines tend to resemble each other, with the main difference being that the Core line features less articulation and less sophisticated details. I love how Mattel keeps expanding this roster because every new addition makes the shelf display that much more compelling, and Evil-Lyn is one of those characters who absolutely belongs in any proper Masters of the Universe collection. Can’t wait to see what official images eventually surface on this one.

MOTU Chronicles Evil-Lyn

Evil Lyn is displayed alongside her accessories, wearing an intricate silver and blue armor corset with a spiked crown headpiece and a deep blue cape that drapes to the ground. She comes with a twisted silver staff topped with a large blue orb, plus a pair of swap-out open hands with sculpted rings on the fingers.

Evil Lyn MOTU Chronicles Official Image 1

The tall black boots have a matte finish with a slight heel, and the blue flame-like patterning on her leggings carries nicely into the darker tones of the armor above. Her spiked collar and shoulder armor have a layered, almost organic texture to the sculpt.

Evil Lyn MOTU Chronicles Official Image 2

The soft goods cape has real flow to it, with the blue fabric catching movement nicely in this posed shot. Her spell-casting hands have great finger separation, and that head sculpt captures a sharp, focused expression.

Evil Lyn MOTU Chronicles Official Image 3

Evil Lyn grips her staff with both hands, and the twisted metallic shaft has a nice sense of weight to it, tapering down to a pointed end. The gold rings on her fingers catch against the dark sculpt of the staff, adding a small but welcome detail at this scale.

Evil Lyn MOTU Chronicles Official Image 4

The blue orb atop the staff has a glossy, almost glass-like finish that contrasts well with the matte silver of the twisted shaft beneath it. That head sculpt is really solid, with the crown’s spindly spikes framing her face without overwhelming it.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane… it’s a whole new kid’s line from Mattel! Huge thanks to @just_bsing and @toy_hunters_collective on Instagram for posting these first look images of three new 12 inch DC figures heading our way. We’re getting Batman, Superman, and The Flash, and boy are we thrilled to see these! There’s something really cool about a good chunky 12 inch figure aimed at getting the next generation of fans into the hobby, and these look like a lot of fun. So let’s take a look at Mattel’s new 12 inch Batman, Superman, and The Flash! I have to say, that Superman is looking fantastic with a really classic look that just screams Christopher Reeve era vibes, and I love that both he and Batman come with cloth capes. That’s always such a nice touch, even on a kid’s line. Superman and The Flash each come with 7 points of articulation, which is pretty standard for a playline figure at this scale, while the deluxe Crime Crusher Batman gets the full treatment with 16 points of articulation, accessories, and a whopping 25 sounds and phrases. Batman always gets the bells and whistles, doesn’t he? How amazing is that?! The Flash is looking super cool in his suit and I love the sculpt work across all three of these figures. The face sculpts in particular are really clean and well done for a kid’s focused line. It’s great to see Mattel continuing to invest in getting DC product into the hands of younger fans, and at 12 inches these are going to have some real shelf presence whether they end up in a kid’s toy box or on a collector’s display. No official release date just yet, but they’re listed as coming soon, so we’ll keep you posted as more details come in!

Here’s a closer look at the trio of DC figures headed for the kids’ line, and honestly, the head sculpts across all three are surprisingly sharp. Batman’s cowl has a nice metallic grey finish with sculpted ears that taper to clean points, while Superman’s classic blue suit with the bold red and yellow S-shield and The Flash’s bright red cowl with yellow lightning bolt accents each nail their iconic looks.

12 inch Mattel DC Kids Line 1

The packaging leans heavily into a Gotham cityscape theme, with deep blues and silhouetted skyline art filling out the window box. You can see that Batman comes packed with a gold batarang and a larger black throwing weapon, and the cloth cape has a nice drape to it even inside the box, which is a cool touch for a kids’ line figure.

12 inch Mattel DC Kids Line 2

Batman comes loaded with accessories here, and the full spread gives you a good sense of what’s included: a gold curved sword, a multi-pronged black throwing star, a gold batarang, and what looks like a gold mace with a translucent handle. I noticed that the armor sculpt has a lot going on, with layered plating on the forearms and gauntlets that feature these aggressive fin-like extensions, and the yellow utility belt and chest emblem pop nicely against all that gunmetal grey.

12 inch Mattel DC Kids Line 3

Batman’s cloth cape absolutely dominates here, swept wide with a great scalloped edge that tapers to sharp points along the bottom. You can see how that gold batarang peeks out above the cape’s edge, and those chunky black boots have some serious tread detail on the soles.

12 inch Mattel DC Kids Line 4

Batman’s batarang is shown mid-throw here with a motion blur effect illustrating the spinning trajectory, which is a fun way to showcase that accessory. The sculpt on his cowl has a sharp angular jawline with a neutral, focused expression, and those shoulder armor fins sit high and aggressive on each side.

12 inch Mattel DC Kids Line 5

Armed with a gold launcher that fires three translucent projectile bolts, Batman’s Crime Crusher version really leans into the play features with its 16 points of articulation and 25 sounds and phrases. The cape here has alternating grey and black striped panels on the interior, which is a subtle detail I think is neat, and the segmented knee armor has a nice layered construction that gives the legs some visual complexity.

12 inch Mattel DC Kids Line 6

You can see how substantial this figure is in hand, easily filling up the grip with that 12-inch scale. His forearm gauntlets have those fin-like protrusions that look even more pronounced when you see them against an actual hand for reference, and the gold curved sword accessory he’s carrying has a nice weight to its sculpt.

12 inch Mattel DC Kids Line 7

Superman

The packaging for Superman goes all-in on a comic book collage aesthetic, with classic DC comic covers layered in blue tones filling the entire box. The card art at the bottom features a great illustrated Superman with a confident grin and his red cape billowing behind him, and I like how it captures that timeless Silver Age energy.

12 inch Mattel DC Kids Line 8

Superman’s cloth cape has a great weight and drape to it, falling well past his red boots with a slight translucency along the lower edge. The yellow belt buckle has a clean circular medallion at its center, and those zigzag boot cuffs where red meets blue add a sharp little design flourish that nails the classic look.

12 inch Mattel DC Kids Line 9

You can see how Superman fills the hand nicely at this 12-inch scale, and that classic S-shield with its bold yellow and red really pops against the deep blue of the suit when you get up close. His head sculpt has a strong, square jawline with piercing blue eyes and a jet-black sculpted curl falling across his forehead, which is just a perfect Superman detail.

12 inch Mattel DC Kids Line 10

Here’s a closer look at how that cloth cape behaves when you’re actually handling the figure, and it drapes naturally over the back and shoulders without bunching up around the neck joint. Superman’s fists are sculpted tight and compact, and with only 7 points of articulation, the figure has a solid, sturdy feel in hand that’s clearly built for play over posing.

12 inch Mattel DC Kids Line 11

Superman’s suit has a smooth, almost matte finish on the blue sections that contrasts nicely with the glossy red of the trunks, cape, and boots. I like how the wavy sculpted hair has real texture to it, with individual curls defined throughout rather than just a flat cap of black.

12 inch Mattel DC Kids Line 12

The Flash

The Flash’s packaging follows the same blue comic collage design as the rest of the line, with layered DC artwork filling the box in varying shades of blue. The illustrated card art at the bottom features a sharp, angular take on the character mid-sprint with yellow lightning bolt ear pieces and a determined expression that really captures the speed-force energy well.

12 inch Mattel DC Kids Line 13

The Flash’s red suit has a smooth, glossy finish that’s consistent from head to toe, and those yellow boots feature a sharp zigzag cuff that mirrors the lightning bolt motif found on his belt and forearm accents. One thing I noticed right away is how crisp the white circle on his chest is, with the yellow lightning bolt emblem sitting cleanly inside it.

12 inch Mattel DC Kids Line 14

The sculpt on The Flash’s cowl has a clean, tight fit around his jawline with a neutral, determined expression and those gold lightning bolt ear wings that add just the right amount of flair. His boots have a noticeable tread pattern on the soles, and with only 7 points of articulation, the figure has that same solid, play-first feel as Superman.

12 inch Mattel DC Kids Line 15

I like how they gave The Flash a translucent yellow speed force effect piece that clips onto his boot, adding a burst of kinetic energy to the figure without it feeling gimmicky. The yellow lightning bolt belt sits at an aggressive diagonal angle across his waist, and the matching bolt accents on his forearms are sculpted as raised elements rather than just flat deco.

12 inch Mattel DC Kids Line 16

Here’s a closer look at The Flash in hand, and you can really appreciate how that 12-inch scale gives the lightning bolt chest emblem and yellow boot cuffs room to breathe with solid separation between each color zone. The figure feels lightweight but sturdy, and those sculpted yellow ear wings hold up well even when you’re gripping him around the torso.

We’ve been keeping an eye on this one and the journey from early intel to official reveal has moved fast, because it wasn’t too long ago that we first got word that Whiplash would be joining the 200x MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection as a Wave 5 deluxe figure, and then just about a week later Mattel pulled back the curtain with official images that gave us our first clean look at the figure. Now, flash forward to today and Whiplash has surfaced on eBay, which means we’re getting our best look yet at the actual figure along with the full packaging and box art. I love when these pop up early because there’s a big difference between a promotional render and seeing the real thing sitting in its box, and from what I can see here Whiplash is looking sharp. The 200x design for this character has always been one of the more visually striking takes from that era, with all that reptilian bulk and those exaggerated proportions that the Mike Young Productions show leaned into so well, and translating that into the Origins scale while keeping it feeling like a proper Cartoon Collection entry is no small task. The box art itself is worth noting too, as Mattel has been delivering solid presentation across this line and Whiplash appears to continue that trend. It’s wild how quickly the puzzle pieces came together on this one, going from that initial intel all the way to in-box images showing up in the wild in what feels like no time at all. Now the real question is how long before these start hitting retail shelves, because after seeing these images I’m even more fired up to get this one in hand.

In-Box Images

Whiplash fills nearly every inch of the box, and that tail is massive, curling up from behind and dominating the entire upper half of the illustration. The character’s bulk and the sheer size of the tail barely fit within the window, giving a real sense of how imposing this design is and how large the figure is.

Whiplash 200x MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection Box Fronta

The box art is packed with action from the “Underworld” episode, with Skeletor looming in the upper portion while Evil-Lyn stands behind Whiplash as he swings that massive tail at King Randor, a character we haven’t seen made into a figure yet, so that tease is worth paying attention to. Over on the opposite side, Beast Man squares off against Man-At-Arms in front of Castle Grayskull, rounding out a scene that pulls a lot of key characters into one illustration.

Whiplash 200x MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection Box Backc

The side panel artwork of Whiplash is amazing and that tail is massive, curling up from behind and dominating the entire upper half of the illustration. The character’s bulk and the sheer size of the tail barely fit within the frame of the art, showing us how imposing this design is through art.

Whiplash 200x MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection Box Sideb

The opposite side panel features a striking illustration of Whiplash from the chest up, mouth open in a fierce snarl with fangs fully bared and a fiery red and yellow backdrop burning behind him. His pointed crown ridges and heavy brow are rendered with aggressive line work, and the layered bone-like armor across his chest adds a lot of texture to the artwork.

Meanwhile… at the Hall of Justice! Huge thanks to @just_bsing for sharing our first look at the upcoming Super Friends Wave 5 from McFarlane Toys, and boy are we thrilled with this lineup! So let’s take a look at Super Friends Wave 5! The reveals dropped during a McFarlane stream and the leaks turned out to be dead on, as usual. We’re getting Evil Wonder Woman, Crystallized Superman, and Phantom Zone Batman, all of which are said to be Red Platinums. How super exciting is that?! I just love that McFarlane keeps diving deeper into the Super Friends well with these amazing variants and deep cut character designs. Evil Wonder Woman is such a fun pick, and I can already see collectors scrambling to lock that one down. Crystallized Superman and Phantom Zone Batman are really cool choices too, pulling from some of those wild and wonderfully weird storylines the show was known for. Preorders are set to go live on May 28, so mark those calendars! There was also mention during the stream that an announcement regarding Super Powers is coming “very, very soon” from Entertainment Earth, so we could be in for even more good news on the horizon. Will we see more? Only time will tell, but this wave alone has me so excited for what’s ahead for the Super Friends line!

Wonder Woman’s classic costume translates beautifully here, with a red and gold bustier flowing into blue star-spangled shorts and tall red boots. The Lasso of Truth is a nice flexible piece that loops naturally in her grip, and her black hair has these subtle blue highlights sculpted in that feel very true to the animated source material.

McFarlane DC Super Friends Retro Wave 5 1

Here we get a look at the back side of Wonder Woman in her red and gold bustier and blue star-spangled shorts and tall red boots.

Additional-images-McFarlane-Super-Friends-Wave-5-6

Batman is finished in a deep, uniform black from head to toe, with fine silver outlines tracing the bat emblem, utility belt, gauntlet fins, and boot detailing. I like how the monochromatic treatment gives the whole figure an almost silhouette quality, with just enough silver linework to define the costume’s shapes against all that black.

McFarlane DC Super Friends Retro Wave 5 2

Here we have the back side of Red Platinum Phantom Zone Batman with his black flowing cape.

Superman’s entire body is cast in a frosted translucent plastic that gives him this ethereal, crystallized look, with the S-shield outlined in a darker blue that anchors the whole design. The cape has a subtle crosshatch texture molded into it, adding a fabric-like quality that contrasts nicely with the smooth, icy clarity of the rest of the figure.

McFarlane DC Super Friends Retro Wave 5 3

You can see Crystallized Superman’s back side and his nice greyish white cape with the black outlined ‘S’ Superman logo.

Additional-images-McFarlane-Super-Friends-Wave-5-7

Evil Wonder Woman comes equipped with her golden tiara, its red star accent sitting cleanly against that flowing black hair. Her blue bracelets have a matte finish that pairs well with the glossy red of her boots, and the white star details on the shorts really pop against the deep blue.

McFarlane DC Super Friends Retro Wave 5 4

Evil Wonder Woman can be seen from behind, and you can see that her outfit is darker than the standard version of Wonder Woman.

Additional-images-McFarlane-Super-Friends-Wave-5-8

Clad in a deep navy blue suit with a bold yellow lightning bolt chevron stretching from his shoulders down to his waist, Black Vulcan has that classic Super Friends look nailed. His cowl features those sharp, swept-back yellow fin details, and he’s carrying a small translucent accessory that looks like it could represent one of his energy blasts.

McFarlane DC Super Friends Retro Wave 5 5

You can see Black Vulcan from the side and his bold yellow lightning bolt chevron stretching from his shoulders down to his waist.

Additional-images-McFarlane-Super-Friends-Wave-5-5

Superman is sporting a wide-brimmed orange farmer’s hat and carrying a hoe, which is such a fun, deep-cut accessory choice that leans into those classic Super Friends episode moments. Mxyzptlk stands alongside him for scale, dressed in an orange and purple outfit with a tiny bowler hat, and I’m really digging how much personality they packed into that small sculpt.

McFarlane DC Super Friends Retro Wave 5 6

Superman looks like he just stepped off the Kent family farm, and I love the commitment to that Golden Age charm. Mr. Mxyzptlk tags along at his feet, looking wonderfully mischievous with his little purple bowler hat and orange suit.

Additional images McFarlane Super Friends Wave 5 2

Here’s a closer look at the back of Superman’s cape, which features a gold S-shield emblem with a slightly raised sculpted border that sits nicely against the vivid red fabric. You can see how Mr. Mxyzptlk’s scale works perfectly alongside him, barely reaching mid-calf, with the little imp’s orange jacket showing off sculpted buckle straps across the back.

Additional images McFarlane Super Friends Wave 5 3

I like the way the hoe has a brown wooden handle with a silver blade, and the proportions feel just right for Superman’s hands. His red trunks sit over the blue suit with a yellow belt that ties the whole classic color scheme together nicely.

It’s super fighting robot time! Jada Toys continues to impress with their Mega Man line, and Wave 4 is now up for preorder at BigBadToyStore and Entertainment Earth, and boy are we thrilled with this lineup! We’re getting three new 1/12 scale figures, each priced at $24.99 with a Q3 2026 ship date, and the character selection here is just amazing. First up, Proto Man finally joins the roster, and I can’t be more excited. That iconic red-and-gray armor, the signature helmet, and yes, the wired scarf are all here looking super clean. He comes with interchangeable hands, an alternate head sculpt, his blaster arm, shield, and an effect piece with stand. Proto Man has always been one of my favorite characters in the franchise, that mysterious older brother energy just hits different, and seeing him get the Jada treatment at this scale and price point is really cool. Next we have Snake Man slithering his way into the wave, and I just love that Jada keeps pulling from the Robot Master lineup. That segmented serpentine armor design looks incredible, and he comes packed with his signature Search Snake weapon, alternate head, interchangeable hands, and a display stand. What a deep cut character to get in action figure form! Rounding out Wave 4 is Gemini Laser Mega Man, giving us a powered-up variant of the Blue Bomber with game-accurate Gemini Laser deco. He includes an alternate head sculpt, interchangeable hands, a laser blast effect, and here’s the really cool part, an articulated PenPen companion! How fun is that?! Those little details pulled straight from the games are what make this line so special. At $24.99 each, this line continues to be one of the best values in the 1/12 scale space, and Jada clearly knows what Mega Man fans want. So let’s take a look at Jada Toys Mega Man Wave 4!

Where to Buy

You can preorder the figures at the following retailers below

Gemini Laser Mega Man

Mega Man looks great in his Gemini Laser power-up colors, with a glossy light blue and white armor scheme that nails the game-accurate palette. The translucent green laser blast effect attached to his buster arm has a spiky, crystalline shape that really pops against all that blue.

Mega Man Gemini Laser Mega Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 03

You can see how his face sculpt captures that determined, furrowed-brow expression perfectly, with crisp blue eyes and a small frowning mouth that’s straight out of the classic game art. The boots and helmet have a smooth, rounded shape that stays true to Mega Man’s chunky proportions, and the joints tuck away nicely within the sculpt.

Mega Man Gemini Laser Mega Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 04

Mega Man’s buster arm has a nice, clean barrel opening and a small yellow energy indicator strip on the forearm section that adds a subtle bit of color variety. I like how the white torso and joint sections break up the blue armor panels, keeping the proportions from feeling too uniform.

Mega Man Gemini Laser Mega Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 05

Here’s a closer look at the included PenPen companion, and it’s a charming little addition with oversized white eyes, a bright yellow beak, and tiny yellow talons that give it a lot of personality for such a small accessory. The open hand sculpt on Mega Man works well here too, showing off individually separated fingers with a slight curl that adds some natural variety to his posing options.

Mega Man Gemini Laser Mega Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 06

Something I appreciate here is that a defeated Robot Master figure is blurred out in the distance, turning this into a fun little scene that feels pulled right from a stage clear moment. Mega Man’s glossy armor finish has a toy-like sheen that actually works in his favor, leaning into the rounded, cartoonish proportions of the original sprite designs rather than fighting against them.

Mega Man Gemini Laser Mega Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 08

Here’s a closer look at the articulated PenPen on its own, and I’m really digging how those bulging glossy white eyes dominate the entire face, giving it that perfect cartoon proportions where the eyes are practically bigger than the body. The grey bolted joints on either side of its head and the wide-open yellow beak with a grey interior add a surprising amount of sculptural detail for such a compact companion piece.

Mega Man Gemini Laser Mega Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 09

Here are some fun shots of Mega Man alongside PenPen, and the scale between the two works really well, with the little bird companion coming up to about shin height and feeling like a proper in-game enemy encounter. His alternate head sculpt is swapped in here, showing that teeth-clenched, more intense expression that sells the moment perfectly against PenPen’s goofy wide-open beak.

Mega Man Gemini Laser Mega Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 07

Laid out in front of the figure, you get a clear sense of everything included with Mega Man: the alternate head sculpt with a slightly different expression, the Gemini Laser blast effect, a pair of swappable open hands, the buster arm, and the articulated PenPen companion. It’s a solid spread for $24.99, and I think it’s neat that both head sculpts carry distinct expressions, with the alternate showing a more intense, teeth-clenched look compared to the standard determined frown.

Mega Man Gemini Laser Mega Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 10

Proto Man

Proto Man’s scarf is a real fabric piece in bright yellow, and it drapes naturally over his shoulders with just enough volume to sell the look without overwhelming the figure’s smaller proportions. His shield has a glossy red exterior with a black concave interior, and the buster arm features a great little detail with a yellow and red energy port sculpted right into the wrist section.

Mega Man Proto Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 03

Proto Man’s helmet has a gorgeous glossy red finish with a crisp white chevron pattern framing the dark visor, and that subtle little smirk on his face sculpt is absolutely perfect for the character. I like how the gray body suit sections contrast against the vivid red armor on his boots, belt, and shoulder pieces, keeping the color blocking sharp and game-accurate.

Mega Man Proto Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 04

The shield’s black interior has a sculpted red “P” insignia that’s a nice throwback to Proto Man’s classic game design, and its overall rounded, kite-like shape sits snugly against his forearm. One thing I noticed right away is how the bright yellow scarf billows out behind him with real texture and fold detail in the fabric, adding a sense of motion that complements the glossy, hard-surfaced armor pieces around it.

Mega Man Proto Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 06

I’m really liking the way Proto Man’s chunky red boots have that same high-gloss finish as the helmet, creating a cohesive look from head to toe that feels like one solid armor set. The yellow scarf catches some real movement here, draping forward over his chest plate and revealing its soft textile weight against the hard plastic armor surrounding it.

Mega Man Proto Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 05

You can see how the shield’s glossy white face has a smooth, convex surface with that red border framing it cleanly, and the small black rectangular viewport near the top adds a functional, tech-like detail that’s easy to miss at first glance. The buster arm’s circular barrel end features concentric silver and yellow rings around a red center dot, almost like a miniature targeting reticle, which is a detail I hadn’t fully appreciated until seeing it from this angle.

Mega Man Proto Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 07

The translucent orange-yellow blast effect has a wonderfully irregular, molten texture with swirling ridges that make it look like a genuine fireball mid-flight, and the clear articulated stand holds it at just the right height to line up with the buster arm’s barrel. It’s nice to see the shield’s black interior tucked against his chest here, showing off how naturally it folds in close to the body without looking bulky or awkward against the rest of the armor.

Mega Man Proto Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 08

Proto Man leaps into frame with his shield extended toward a blurred Snake Man in the foreground, and the sense of mid-air momentum really sells this as a classic boss encounter moment. I like how the red and yellow of Proto Man’s armor and scarf pop against Snake Man’s green silhouette, creating that perfect complementary color clash straight out of a stage select screen.

Mega Man Proto Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 09

Proto Man comes equipped with a generous accessory spread: his shield, buster arm, a translucent orange-yellow blast effect piece on a clear articulated stand, an alternate helmeted head with a darker tinted visor, and two swap-out hands including a gripping fist and an open splayed option. It’s cool to see that the blast effect stand uses multiple clear ball joints, letting you angle and position the fireball independently of the figure for some creative display possibilities.

Mega Man Proto Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 10

Snake Man

Snake Man’s segmented green armor has a gorgeous glossy finish, with those snake-head shaped shoulder pads and helmet crest sporting red jewel-like eyes that are a fantastic touch straight from his sprite design. The white torso plate and boots feature inlaid green diamond accents, and the dark gray under-suit sections at the waist and joints help break up the color scheme in a way that keeps all that green from running together.

Mega Man Snake Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 03

Snake Man’s left arm features the Search Snake weapon, a green cylindrical cannon with a red rectangular viewport and segmented panel lines that give it a mechanical, serpentine quality distinct from a standard buster. His fists are sculpted in clean white with sharp green gauntlet cuffs, and the helmet’s snake-head crest has a subtle snout shape complete with tiny nostril dots that I hadn’t fully noticed until getting up close.

Mega Man Snake Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 04

The Search Snake cannon has a small green serpent head peeking out from its barrel, complete with those same red jewel eyes found on the shoulder pads and helmet, tying the whole snake motif together beautifully. I like how the boots have a tall, angular shin guard design with crisp seam lines separating the white outer shell from the green diamond inlays, giving them a layered, armored look.

Mega Man Snake Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 06

Included alongside Snake Man is a small Search Snake projectile accessory, a segmented green serpent body with a rounded head featuring that same red jewel eye, and it looks like it just slithered right off the cannon barrel. I noticed that his open hand sculpt has a flat, splayed pose with the fingers spread wide, which pairs nicely with the more aggressive white fist on the opposite side for mixing up display options.

Mega Man Snake Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 07

Snake Man looks fantastic in action here, with that glossy green helmet catching a strong highlight that reallyshows off the smooth, rounded snake-head crest from a new perspective. The white shoulder pads have a satisfying bulk to them, jutting out with those curved, shell-like edges that frame his upper body and give him a silhouette that’s instantly recognizable from the game.

Mega Man Snake Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 05

The Search Snake projectile is mounted on a clear articulated stand here, and you can see how the segmented body coils and curves naturally, with each green section connected by small ball joints that let you shape it into different slithering positions. Snake Man’s face sculpt has a sharp, angular frown with narrowed eyes peeking out from beneath that oversized snake-head crest, and his skin tone contrasts nicely against all that surrounding green.

Mega Man Snake Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 08

Snake Man squares off against a blurred Mega Man in the background, and the contrast between his deep green armor and Mega Man’s familiar blue silhouette instantly reads like a classic Robot Master showdown. You can see how the dark gray segmented rings running down his Search Snake cannon arm have a ribbed, vertebrae-like texture that really sells the organic serpent feel against the otherwise smooth, rounded armor plates.

Mega Man Snake Man 1 12 Scale Action Figure 09

Here’s the full accessory spread for Snake Man, and it’s a solid lineup: an alternate head sculpt, a pair of swappable open hands in white, the Search Snake projectile on its clear articulated stand, and the Search Snake cannon arm. At $24.99 with a Q3 2026 ship date, the alternate head appears to carry the same angular frown but from here looks like it may offer a slightly different eye direction or mouth position, which would be a subtle but welcome option for varying his display.

Inner Space is waiting! Super7 keeps the Micronauts love coming strong, and wave 4 of their ReAction+ line is now up for preorder at our friends over at BigBadToyStore, Entertainment Earth and Super7.com. This wave gives us two really cool additions to the lineup. We have Time Traveler in Translucent Orange and Phobos, the evil twin of Biotron! We’ve been following this line closely since wave 3 hit preorder, and I love how Super7 continues to dig into the rich history of this incredible 1970s property. With the franchise celebrating its 50th anniversary, the timing couldn’t be better. Each figure runs $24.99 with an expected ship date of June 2026. Micronauts Time Traveler (Translucent Orange)

First up is the Time Traveler in Translucent Orange, and I just love this one. The translucent orange material with silver metallic head details is such a gorgeous nod to the original Mego figures, and that removable vac-metal chest piece adds so much fun to the play and display factor. At 4 inches with 12 points of articulation, the ReAction+ format gives these figures just the right amount of poseability while still feeling like a tribute to the vintage roots. How cool is that translucent plastic catching the light on a shelf?!

And now, you can crush the forces that threaten Homeworld with a Time Traveler ReAction+ Figure in translucent orange. This 4” scale figure is inspired by the vintage Micronauts action figures of the 1970s. It has 12 points of articulation for plenty of poseable possibilities. The translucent orange material reveals the inner details of the figure—and it’s designed with silver metallic details for the head and a removable and interchangeable vac-metal chest piece. Original Super7 artwork, influenced by the Micronauts comic series, appears on the blistered card-back packaging. Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Micronauts with a timeless, retro-style action figure.

Micronauts ReAction+ Phobos

Next we have Phobos, the evil twin of Biotron, and this is a deep cut that collectors of the original line are going to lose their minds over. That robotic head with two different visages is such a fun design element, and the detachable treadpack and silver metallic paint details really round out the package. I always loved the villainous side of the Micronauts universe and it’s super exciting to see Super7 giving these characters the spotlight they deserve. You can tell that this is a repaint reuse of the Biotron body with a new head, therefore the evil twin of Biotron!

I love the incredible cardback art illustration of Phobos! His Robotic Monster like face looks incredible.

This is exactly why mini comics matter. Since July 2024, we alluded to new figures coming to the line and we’ve been keeping an eye on the new characters headed to MOTU Origins, and now we’re getting our clearest look yet at what’s next, because the Technomancer, Hordak’s dark warrior born of pure evil, appears to be the next Mattel Creations drop, teased for Wednesday, May 27, 2026. What makes this one feel special is how it was born directly out of the storytelling packed into the Extendar mini comic, “The Terror of the Technomancer,” penned by the amazingly talented MOTU Mini Comic writer Joshua Sky, which does exactly what the best mini comics have always done in this hobby: it doesn’t just accompany a figure, it builds the world and sets the stage for what’s coming next. The comic takes us deep into Hordak’s scheme, showing us the moment Extendar’s chest is cracked open to reveal the Eternium Ore matrix, the source of all his power, and if you’ve read through that sequence you probably noticed, just like I did, that the matrix bears more than a passing resemblance to a certain Autobot leader’s power source, which is a fun little visual nod whether intentional or not. But the real heart of the story is Extendar’s defiance, breaking free from Hordak’s grip, literally grabbing Hordak by the face and kicking Leech back before escaping through the portal to rejoin He-Man. His words to He-Man about never again looking to others with jealousy but with admiration instead carry a weight that feels rare for a pack-in comic, and that emotional beat lands even harder when you realize Hordak let him go on purpose, because the end game was never about keeping Extendar but about harvesting his power to fuel something far worse. That something is the Technomancer, an Evil Horde creation that will reuse much of the Extendar buck, essentially giving us an evil mirror of the character, and the fact that this new warrior’s entire origin was seeded through the mini comic is a reminder of how these small printed stories can carry enormous narrative weight for the line. It’s a full circle moment that connects the lore, the figure engineering, and the collecting experience in a way that only MOTU Origins seems to consistently pull off, and I can’t wait to see how the Technomancer looks when official images drop ahead of that Mattel Creations release.

Technomancer Tease

The Club Grayskull logo dominates the frame, but behind it we can clearly see Extendar’s parts being reused here. Getting an evil version of Extendar through the Technomancer is a great addition to the Origins line.

Technomander MOTU Origins Mattel Creations Exclusive Tease 1

The close-up on the left shows a sculpted Horde bat symbol on the chest, a direct callback to the mini comic “The Terror of the Technomancer,” where Hordak’s evil creation bore that same insignia. The right side reveals ridged, segmented torso detailing with deep grooves running vertically through the red section, giving the sculpt a mechanical, constructed quality fitting for a being engineered by Hordak but also this is the Exendar buck.

Technomander MOTU Origins Mattel Creations Exclusive Tease 2b

Shortly after the tease, Yo Tengo El Poder posted what appears to be the actual figure! We can’t wait to see more of the artwork, which is illustrated by @aprostudio!

Expand-Or MOTU Origins Mattel Creations Exclusive

Extendar’s Mini Comic Teases an Evil Villian Version of Extendar

Further evidence of this comes from the Extendar Mini Comic, where, at the end, we see one of Hordak’s evil creations come to life, which will set the stage for an evil version of Extendar, which will reuse many of the parts from the Mattel Creations exclusive. As we see in the mini comic, cracking Extendar’s chest open to reveal the Eternium Ore matrix (which looks a lot like Optimus Prime’s from the Transformers), the source of Extendar’s powers, is revealed. Suddenly, Extendar breaks free and grabs Hordak’s face while kicking Leech back! Extendar goes back through the portal and find He-Man where he tells him that he has regrets for succumbing to Hordak’s offer many years ago. Extrendar says, “Never again will I look to others with jealously for their success, but admiration instead,” and strives to be the best version of himself. Hordak let him go and did not pursue him as Hordak’s end game is to give Extendar’s power to a new dark warrior born of pure evil.

Terror of the Technomancer Mini Comic

In the vintage mini comics, Extendar was a friend of Prince Adam and was an ordinary knight, but yearned for special powers of his own after witnessing the skills of the Horde warrior Dragstor. Hordak subsequently granted his wish and subjected him to scientific experiments, which transformed him into a mechanical cyborg warrior with the power of extension. Invincible at full height, he was set upon He-Man, but managed to throw off Hordak’s control and ultimately joined the Heroic Warriors, becoming one of the most powerful members of their ranks. This looks like it is a continuation of Extendar’s tale!

The-Terror-of-the-Technomancer-Extendar-MOTU-Origins-Mini-Coimic-Cover

Extendar, being the kind hearted soul he is, responded to a cry for help on the outskirts of King Randor’s castle. He heeds the call and follows the cry deep into the forest. As Extendar tries to come to the maiden’s aid, the maiden and swamp creature disappear to reveal some Horde Troopers, who drag Extendar to the Fright Zone! captured and in front of Hordak, Extendar is reminded who transformed him in the first place, as told in the vintage mini comic, The Warrior Machine!

The-Terror-of-the-Technomancer-Extendar-MOTU-Origins-Mini-Coimic-Pages-1-2

Hordak has Extendar on the examination table once again and vows to fulfill his promise to transfer total power to another worthier dark knight. It is here, while Extendar is on the table, Modulok, with syringe in hand, looks on!

I’ve been wanting to take a closer look at this new Battle Cat from Mattel’s 2026 movie line, and now that I’ve got him out of the box and next to some other figures, there’s a lot to talk about. At 11 inches long and 4.8 inches tall, he’s scaled to work with the 5.5-inch core figures, which puts him right in that sweet spot reminiscent of the vintage Battle Cat’s relationship to the original He-Man. The green striping on the tiger body is present and accounted for, though the pattern and overall color palette lean into what we’re seeing from the live action film’s design language rather than strictly pulling from the cartoon or Classics aesthetic. The saddle and armor are sculpted as part of the figure rather than being truly removable, which is worth noting if you were hoping to display him as Cringer. Articulation sits at six points, so we’re in kid-friendly territory here, not Chonciles levels of posability, but the joints feel solid enough and the jaw has a chomping action paired with five different roar sounds, which adds a play feature layer that younger collectors or display folks might have mixed feelings about. The sculpt work on the face carries a nice sense of aggression without going full snarl, and the proportions feel well balanced for this scale class. For what’s essentially a $22 figure with electronic features, there’s a decent amount to appreciate here. Huge thanks to Big Bad Toy Store for sending this Battle Cat MOTU Core Figure over for review, and if he has been on your must have list, you can still grab him now at Big Bad Toy Store.

Packaging

I love this open-style packaging, which lets you try out the chomp feature right there on the shelf before committing. The artwork on the front features a great illustration of He-Man riding Battle Cat into action, and the warm orange and red color palette across the box really pops.

Battle Cat MOTU Core Figure Review 1

The side panel features a really cool illustration of Castle Grayskull, rendered in that same warm orange tone that carries across the rest of the box. You can see how the skull-faced fortress looms large on the panel, giving the packaging a great sense of Eternia’s world beyond just the character inside.

Battle Cat MOTU Core Figure Review 2

The back of the packaging ties everything together nicely, with a callout showing off the chomp feature complete with sound effects, plus a cross-sell section featuring He-Man, Teela, and Beast Man from the same line. You also get a stylized illustration of He-Man riding Battle Cat across a fiery Eternian landscape, which carries that same warm orange palette from the rest of the box.

Battle Cat MOTU Core Figure Review 3

Figure Details

Here’s a great side view that really shows off Battle Cat’s full body sculpt, with that dense, layered fur texture running from the thick neck all the way through the muscular haunches and down to those individually sculpted claws. The saddle and armor sit cleanly across the back, with spiked ridges along the shoulder piece and a sculpted swirl pattern etched into the saddle that you don’t catch from other angles.

Battle Cat MOTU Core Figure Review 4

From this side, you can see how the armor’s helmet wraps around Battle Cat’s jaw with those deep chin guards framing the open mouth, and the chest plate connects seamlessly to the saddle with a sculpted ring clasp at the throat. The orange stripes on this flank follow a slightly different pattern than the opposite side, which is a nice touch that keeps the fur texture feeling organic rather than mirrored.

Battle Cat MOTU Core Figure Review 5

Up close, you can really appreciate the sculpt work on Battle Cat’s open mouth, with those sharp white fangs and smaller teeth along the lower jaw creating a fierce, detailed snarl. The helmet is molded on as a permanent piece, and I love how those yellow-orange eyes peer through the openings with a ton of personality.

Battle Cat MOTU Core Figure Review 6

Here’s where the saddle really shines. The entire surface is covered in an intricate floral and scroll pattern that’s been deeply etched into the sculpt, giving it the look of hand-tooled leather you’d see on real equestrian tack. The buckle straps and riveted cinch around the belly are just as detailed, with individual stitch holes and a looped ring connector that make the whole saddle feel like a functional piece of gear.

Battle Cat MOTU Core Figure Review 7

He-Man looks right at home atop Battle Cat, with that silver chest armor and red cross emblem standing out sharply against all the green fur and deep red armor below. The contrast between his bare, muscular arms and the heavily armored steed creates a nice visual balance where neither figure overwhelms the other.

Battle Cat MOTU Core Figure Review 8

From the front, you get a full sense of how He-Man and Battle Cat pair together, with the silver chest armor and red cross emblem sitting right above the deep red helmet and saddle, creating a clean color story from top to bottom. Battle Cat’s wide, muscular front legs and splayed claws give him a solid, planted stance, and those individually sculpted toes really sell the weight of the creature.

Battle Cat MOTU Core Figure Review 9

From the back, you can see the great detail on He-Man’s leather harness and belt, with all those sculpted buckles and rivets wrapping around his torso and waist. Battle Cat’s fur texture is really impressive from this angle too, with that shaggy sculpt running all the way down through the curling tail, and those orange tiger stripes cutting across the haunches add a nice contrast against the green.

Our good friend Ace from Ramen Toy is has a booth the at the 2026 Shizuoka Hobby Show, and the booth he’s put together is stacked with some seriously impressive pieces that showcase the range and ambition of the brand. On display are two of my personal favorites in the Gatchaman II 1:24 Scale G-1 Eagle Sharp with Ken the Eagle and the Gatchaman II 1:24 Scale G-2 Condor Attacker with Joe the Condor, both fully licensed pieces that tap into a franchise that doesn’t get nearly enough love in the collector space, and seeing them presented side by side at a show like this really drives home how well Ramen Toy understands the material and the audience they’re building for. The Gatchaman vehicles have that perfect blend of retro sci-fi design and modern production quality that makes them feel like they belong in a premium display, and I love how Ace continues to champion properties that other companies tend to overlook. Then there’s the Knight Rider Twelfth Scsle SPM KITT with Michael Knight, which we covered when it was first revealed as a partnership between Ramen Toy and Factory Entertainment, and seeing it in person at the booth is a whole different experience because the pairing of KITT and Michael Knight together at that scale is one of the most iconic sets to come out of the 80s nostalgia space in recent memory. The Shizuoka Hobby Show is always a window into what’s coming next, and Ramen Toy is clearly making the most of the spotlight. Can’t wait to see what else Ace has cooking.

Ramen Toy Booth Overview

If you haven’t met Ace, here he is, the man behind Ramen Toy, posing proudly next to his Knight Rider KITT display, which is truly the centerpiece of the booth. The 1:12 scale KITT prototype sits inside its display case with the driver’s door open and the Michael Knight figure seated inside, while the product info panels above showcase interior cockpit details and the console electronics.

Ramen Toy Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Booth Images 6

It’s great to get a full booth shot like this, as most images from these shows focus on the toys without any context for where they actually sit. A dedicated display case houses the Gatchaman II G-1 Eagle Sharp and G-2 Condor Attacker vehicles, while the Knight Rider KITT is purposely positioned at the front table to catch people walking by.

Ramen Toy Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Booth Images 1

KITT is a showstopper at the booth, and you can really see why here, with the headlights fully lit and casting a warm glow that gives the front end real presence behind the display case glass. The light output from those headlamp housings is strong and even, and it’s clear the lighting feature is going to be one of the standout functional elements of the finished piece.

Ramen Toy Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Booth Images 11

This is really the only way to capture the magnificence of the KITT prototype, and you can see an attendee crouched down taking video of the Knight Rider vehicle up close while others look on. The level of interest says it all, as the 1:12 scale KITT commands attention even in a busy show environment.

Ramen Toy Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Booth Images 12

One of the cool things about booths at these shows is the TV screens running alongside the physical displays, giving attendees a closer look at features and details they might miss at a glance. Here, the screen highlights KITT alongside the included Michael Knight figure, with a product description panel listing out specs like the Super Pursuit Mode transformation, light-up console with talking KITT, and a rotating license plate.

Ramen Toy Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Booth Images 2

The display case holds both the G-1 Eagle Sharp and G-2 Condor Attacker side by side, with the TV screen above cycling through alternate photos of the sets, giving a nice rotating showcase of each vehicle and its included figure. The Knight Rider KITT poster sits just to the left of the screen, rounding out the Ramen Toy lineup on display.

Ramen Toy Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Booth Images 4

How cool to see this in person, as this display is very impactful with the Eagle Sharp perched on its flight stand showing off that red and white fuselage marked “G-1,” while the Condor Attacker sits below with the spring-out blade exposed from the front and Joe seated inside the open cockpit. The parts that make up the overhead Bird Missile are detached and laid out alongside the vehicle, with the flame effect piece and the smaller jet component separated magnetically, which feature dual light-up features.

Ramen Toy Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Booth Images 5

A close-up of the G-2 Condor Attacker with Joe the Condor, and if this set is anything like the G-1 Eagle Sharp, collectors are in for a treat. The vehicle’s black body with red accent striping, the sculpted vent detail along the top, and the six-wheeled design all look sharp, while Joe stands in the open cockpit wearing his blue cape and signature helmet.

Ramen Toy Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Booth Images 3

On top of the display case, a smaller KITT model sits alongside printed images showing the license plate rotation feature, where the primary “KNIGHT” plate flips to reveal “KNI 667,” the fictional California plate KITT used in the Season 2 episode “Brother’s Keeper” to evade police after an All Points Bulletin was issued. It’s a deep-cut detail from the show that most casual fans wouldn’t even know about, and the fact that Ramen Toy built it into the mechanics of this piece says a lot about how seriously they’re treating the source material.

Ramen Toy Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Booth Images 17

The EBS Emergency Braking System is mounted on the roof and rear bumper area, with the hardware sculpted cleanly into the bodywork of the KITT prototype. With the driver’s door swung open, a sliver of the window catches the light along its edge, and the tan interior is partially exposed with the Michael Knight figure seated inside the drivers seat.

Ramen Toy Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Booth Images 7

The taillights are lit up with a warm glow, and from this rear angle you get a clear look at the EBS hardware sculpted into the bumper area. The driver’s door is open wide enough to show the tan door panel interior with its molded armrest detail, and down at the license plate, the rotation mechanism is caught mid-turn, giving a peek at how the license plate versions will cycle through on the finished piece.

Ramen Toy Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Booth Images 8

The interior cockpit detail on KITT is stunning, with the full dashboard packed with individually printed gauges, switches, and readouts that faithfully recreate the show’s iconic console. Michael Knight sits behind the wheel wearing his leather jacket and light-colored pants, and that head sculpt captures the likeness really well.

Ramen Toy Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Booth Images 10

The full KITT prototype is on display, showing off the complete vehicle profile alongside a small miniature version of KITT that serves as the remote control. How brilliant is that, using a scaled-down replica of the car itself as the controller for the light and sound features.

We’ve been keeping an eye on this one and it’s finally here in full color. Back in December 2025, we shared early intel that a Slime Pit was on the way for MOTU Origins, and now In Demand Toys has pulled back the curtain with official images that confirm the playset is very much real and very much happening. Feast your eyes on the Origins take of one of the most iconic and gloriously gross playsets from the vintage Masters of the Universe line, a piece that defined an entire era of Eternian villainy and gave every kid a reason to ruin their carpet in the late 1980s. The original Slime Pit was one of those toys that transcended the action figure hobby because it wasn’t just a display piece or a backdrop, it was an experience, and seeing Mattel bring that concept into the Origins aesthetic is the kind of thing that hits the sweet spot for collectors who grew up pouring green slime over Hordak’s helpless victims. From what we can see in the images, the sculpt looks like it carries over the spirit of the vintage mold while fitting right in with the scale and style that Origins has established, and I’m really into how this rounds out the playset offerings for the line in a way that gives it more depth beyond figures and vehicles. This is the kind of release that reminds you why MOTU Origins has been such a rewarding line to follow, going from whispered intel months ago to a full reveal that lands exactly the way you hoped it would. Can’t wait to see pricing and availability details as they come in.

Official Images

The MOTU Origins Slime Pit Playset has finally been revealed, confirming what we reported back in December 2025. The playset features a rocky base with a red-framed doorway, a large beast skull perched on top, and skeletal claws reaching outward from the sides, with a He-Man figure (sold separately) positioned at the center surrounded by a glowing slime effect.

These newly revealed images from In Demand Toys give us our best look yet. The stone doorway features a sculpted face embedded in the rockwork, flanked by those iconic skeletal arms with their bony, clawed fingers.

Early Intel From December 2025

It looks like the Horde Invasion is roaring into 2026, and I can’t tell you how fired up I am to finally say this out loud because it feels like we’ve all been waiting forever: a MOTU Origins Slime Pit is officially in the works! As someone who grew up loving those compact, small form factor playsets, hearing that this iconic set is coming back instantly brought back that rush of nostalgia. And get this…according to an anonymous source, it will actually come with slime! Yes, real slime. I mean, what would a Slime Pit even be without slime, right? That gooey, messy, glorious drench-your-figure mayhem is practically its whole identity, and the fact that they’re leaning into that is amazing! No word on whether a Zombie Slime Pit He-Man is also in the works but they would be silly not to make one! We’ve been tracking ALL of the Slime Pit teases and we never thought this day would coWith the Horde tightening its grip on Eternia heading into 2026, this feels like the perfect addition to keep the invasion energy going, and I’m already imagining how wild the official reveal is going to be and I can’t wait to dig deeper into everything this set offers once more details surface, but for now, knowing it exists is exciting enough to keep the hype train rolling into the new year. For now, let’s take a trip down memory lane!

The Slime pit itself has already been teased to us on the spectacular artwork that housed the amazing 2021 Power-Con Horde 4 pack, as we covered in our article What MOTU Vehicles and Playsets are Next in the Origins Line? If Slime Pit He-man is being Teased in this mini comic, and we have already seen the Slime Pit in a major piece of packaging artwork, you start to put the pieces together and it looks like a forgone conclusion right? Tracking all of the teases has finally paid off and we are so thrilled that Mattel will be producing this for fans!

According to the Wiki Grayskull

The Slime Pit is the name of two different Masters of the Universe locations. The original Slime Pit was released with the original Mattel storyline, with the other coinciding with the MYP/Four Horsemen MOTU series in 2003. Both locations were made as playsets for the toylines and both playsets came with sticky green slime for play value. The original Slime Pit belongs to the Evil Horde, it is a dinosaur skull-shaped device and a claw, which Hordak uses to trap Eternian Warriors inside it. The dinosaur head then tips forward to coat its unfortunate victim with slime. In the In the MOTU universe, the effect of the slime transforms everyone covered by it into a lumbering, mindless slime-monster, stripped of their own free will, and instead carrying out Hordak’s evil bidding.

Slime Pit | Wiki Grayskull | Fandom

The Slime Pit playset was released in 1986 and jumped on that 1980’s slime craze band wagon, like so many other toys back then! It was the Lair of the Evil Horde to torture their unsuspecting victims.

We’ve been keeping an eye on this one and now we finally have our first official look at what’s shaping up to be one of the most interesting Masters of the Universe Origins releases in a while. After we first shared word that a faction-themed MOTU Origins 4-pack was on the way for 2026 back in December 2025, collectors have been waiting to see exactly what Mattel had cooking, and the revealed packaging image does not disappoint. The set brings together four all-new characters, each one representing a different corner of Eternia’s sprawling mythology, and the faction-style subtitle callouts beneath each name really help sell the worldbuilding angle that makes this pack feel like more than just another bundle of figures. You’ve got the Avion Warrior, described as a “Flying Heroic Guard,” which immediately calls to mind Stratos and the sky-bound warriors of Avion, then there’s Primal Captain, labeled a “Powerful Beastly Warrior,” leaning into that beastly faction energy we’ve seen hinted at across various corners of MOTU lore. The Aquatican Mer-Warrior, tagged as a “Fearsome Ocean Soldier,” pulls from the underwater side of Eternia that rarely gets enough love in the toy aisle, and rounding things out is Sepult-Ro Disciple, identified as a “Dark Cult Acolyte,” which is about as deep cut and lore-heavy as it gets for an Origins release. What I love about this lineup is how it covers sky, sea, beast, and dark magic all in a single box, giving army-builder fans and lore-obsessed collectors alike a reason to be genuinely excited. Even from a partial packaging shot, the mix of factions represented here suggests Mattel is really leaning into the idea that Eternia is a living, breathing world full of warriors beyond just the main roster, and I can’t wait to see full in-hand images once these start surfacing.

Official Images

The full MOTU Origins 4-Pack is confirmed, and this first official look shows all four figures together: Avion Warrior, Primal Captain, Aquatican Mer-Warrior, and Sepult-Ro Disciple, both in-package and displayed with their accessories below. The box art features a painted battle scene set in a subterranean cavern, and the set leans heavily into army-builder and faction-based worldbuilding with sky, beast, sea, and dark magic archetypes all represented in a single release. Looks like Mattel mixed up the Primal Captain and the Sepult-Ro Disciple, which is the second time we’ve seen them do this in a short time.

MOTU-Origins-4-Pack-First-Look-2

Here we get a closer look at the incredible artwork on the packaging! You will notice multiple Primal Captain’s (Beast Men) illustrated in the background, so looks like he will be a cool army builder! You might just have to pick up a few packs of these!

MOTU Origins 4 Pack First Look

Aquatican Mer-Warrior is our first look at one of the four figures confirmed for the new MOTU Origins 4-Pack, and the aquatic creature design delivers with a full blue body sculpt featuring finned forearms, webbed feet, and a snarling fish-like head with orange eyes and exposed fangs. He comes with a trident and wears a yellow harness with tentacle-like detailing hanging from the belt, leaning hard into that “Fearsome Ocean Soldier” identity.

Aquatican Mer Warrior MOTU Origins 4 Pack

Aquatican Mer-Warrior looks like he swam right out of the Filmation cartoon with his bright blue skin, sharp fin crest on top of the head, and snarling fish-like face complete with exposed fangs. Yellow armor details run across the chest and waist, breaking up the blue body nicely while matching the oversized yellow trident packed beside him. I really like seeing Mattel lean into some of these more obscure Eternian races because this one absolutely captures that classic animated background character energy in Origins form.

Aquatican-Mer-Warrior-MOTU-Origins-4-Pack-2

Avion Warrior gives us our second confirmed figure from the MOTU Origins 4-Pack, and he’s rocking a gray bodysuit under a blue open-front tunic with white trim, a red belt, and red boots. Red armor plating covers both forearms and shoulders, a red helmet with a fin-like crest sits above blue goggles, and he comes with an ornate scepter as his accessory.

Avion Warrior MOTU Origins 4 Pack

Avion Warrior brings a deep cut into the MOTU Origins line with a look pulled straight from the classic Filmation style. The figure features bright red hair with a blue visor mask, a blue tunic trimmed in white, and dark gray limbs with red gloves and boots that really pop against the darker body colors. Packed beside him is a gold staff accessory, framing the figure in the tray immediately tie him back to the airborne Avion race. I like how clean and simple the overall design feels because it captures that vintage animated guard aesthetic almost perfectly.

Avion-Warrior-MOTU-Origins-4-Pack-2

Primal Captain rounds out the MOTU Origins 4-Pack as the “Dark Cult Acolyte, and this “Powerful Beastly Warrior” and this first confirmed look shows an orange-skinned Beast Man-like creature with a snarling open mouth, pale face, and purple eyes, wearing spiked armor on both shoulders connected by a chain harness and a fur loincloth belted at the waist. He comes with a club and a small dagger, and the sculpted fur texture running across the chest and limbs gives the whole figure a raw, beastly quality that fits the cult warrior role.

Sepult Ro Diciple MOTU Origins 4 Pack

Mattel appears to have mixed up the names here because the figure packed as “Sepult-Ro Disciple” is actually the Primal Captain. The figure features an orange body with textured fur sculpting across the chest and waist, dark shoulder armor with metallic rivet details, and a skull-like face with a wide open mouth that gives him a savage Filmation-style appearance. A dark strap runs diagonally across the torso and the figure is packed with a long brown staff accessory. I like how wild and almost barbaric this design feels compared to the cleaner heroic guards in the set.

Primal-Captain-MOTU-Origins-4-Pack-2

Sepult-Ro Disciple is the third confirmed figure from the MOTU Origins 4-Pack, sports a bone-white body wrapped in a tattered purple cloak and hood over a skull-faced head, with a scaly purple loincloth and dark blue shin guards featuring ornate sculpted detailing. His staff has a metallic mechanical headpiece with a swappable green flame effect piece, and the belt buckle carries a gold and purple crest that adds a nice bit of regality to an otherwise feral design.

Primal Captain MOTU Origins 4 Pack

Mattel mixed up the names again here because the figure labeled as “Primal Captain” is actually the Sepult-Ro Disciple. The figure has a pale bone-colored body with a skull face hidden beneath a dark purple hood and cape, giving him a much darker mystical look compared to the rest of the set. Purple armor details wrap around the waist, boots, and wrist cuffs, while the included staff features translucent green effects that add a supernatural energy to the accessory. I really like how closely this design mirrors the eerie Filmation-style cult follower aesthetic.

What a spread this is from the Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 floor! Massive thanks to Ramen Toy for coming through with a full set of booth photos from the Takara Tomy display, giving us a sweeping look at what’s ahead for Transformers collectors across a jaw-dropping number of lines. We’re talking Age of Primes, Studio Series, Masterpiece, Missing Link, Transformers New Legends, and more, all laid out together in one booth that really drives home just how much Takara Tomy has cooking right now. There’s a fantastic mix of production figures alongside prototypes on display, which means we’re not only getting confirmation of pieces that are already in the pipeline but also early glimpses at things that haven’t been formally announced yet, and that’s exactly the kind of intel that makes show season so exciting for the hobby. We already pulled back the curtain on the Missing Link Ironhide and Ratchet reveal from the show, but the full booth images tell a much bigger story when you step back and take it all in. From legacy characters getting fresh treatment to newer lines continuing to expand in interesting directions, the range on display here covers a lot of ground and should give collectors plenty to dig into and speculate about in the weeks ahead. Feast your eyes on the full gallery below and let us know which pieces caught your attention, because there is a lot to unpack here.

Age of the Primes

Monstructor

The Takara Tomy booth at the Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 gives us a full spread of the Age of the Primes Monstructor set, with all the individual component figures displayed alongside the combined form in the center. Massive thanks to Ramen Toy for grabbing these booth photos, because seeing the full team laid out together like this with that wild mix of yellow, teal, red, and gold really sells the scope of this combiner. We can see Monster Birdbrain, Monster Bristleback, Monster Icepick, Monster Scowl, Decepticon Slog, and Monster Wildfly.

Monstructor’s combined form towers over the individual component figures at its feet, with the gold and purple torso flanked by mismatched limbs that each retain the distinct color identity of their respective beast. That head sculpt with the fanged faceplate and yellow crest is a nice throwback to the original Monstructor design.

AM-T03 Star Saber

A promotional display panel for AM-T03 Star Saber from the Adamas Machina line catches the eye at the Takara Tomy booth, featuring a detailed CG render of the combined form in a deep blue color scheme with white accents and a massive sword. The Japanese text highlights the design philosophy of refining the amalgamation and articulation, with a “Coming Soon” banner along the bottom.

The AM-T03 Star Saber prototype sits on a pedestal beneath its promotional banner, sculpted in unpainted gray plastic with those layered wing components and a long blade clearly defined. Seeing this one in raw prototype form at Shizuoka really shows off the complexity of the engineering, especially with all those overlapping armor panels and flight hardware.

The Takara Tomy booth at Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 features the AM-T03 Star Saber prototype displayed on its own dedicated pedestal beneath the promotional signage, with the “Coming Soon” banner and Adamas Machina branding framing it from above. Even surrounded by the rest of the booth’s packed lineup, this prototype in raw gray resin with its sprawling wing assembly and long blade pulls you right to it.

This close-up of the AM-T03 Star Saber prototype at the Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Takara Tomy booth reveals the incredible density of the head and upper torso sculpt, with layered chest panels, sharp angular helmet fins, and twin antennae rising from the crown. Autobot insignias are stamped into both shoulder armor blocks, and the clear plastic missile rack inserts on each shoulder tower add a nice material contrast against the matte gray resin.

A closer look at the AM-T03 Star Saber prototype reveals the intricate mechanical detailing running across the torso and abdomen, with recessed panel lines, circular port details, and segmented armor plating layered throughout the midsection. The wing and fin structures flanking the upper body carry their own sculpted surface geometry, with serrated edges and tiered armor plates stacking up behind the shoulders.

The lower half of the AM-T03 Star Saber prototype shows just how deep the sculpted detail goes on the legs, with layered armor segments, recessed mechanical detailing, and exposed screw points running from the thighs down to the multi-part feet. Large blade-like shin guards carry their own etched surface patterns, and the feet feature segmented toe sections with additional sculpted panel work.

AM T03 Star Saber Transformers Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Takara Tomy Booth 5

The AM-T03 Star Saber prototype gets a tighter framing here, with the massive wing assembly fanning out behind the torso and the long blade running diagonally across the body. Gold-toned screws dot the joints throughout the arms and legs, providing a practical contrast against the uniform gray of the unpainted resin.

A tight framing on the AM-T03 Star Saber prototype’s upper body highlights the Autobot insignias stamped into both shoulder blocks and the clear plastic missile rack inserts flanking the head. The sheer density of overlapping armor panels across the chest and shoulders is impressive even in unpainted gray, with every surface carrying its own distinct sculpted geometry.

The AM-T03 Star Saber prototype commands a serious amount of shelf space on the Takara Tomy booth floor, with those massive wing fins and blade giving it a silhouette that dwarfs everything else nearby. Even in uniform gray resin with no paint, the sheer volume of this piece makes it one of the most eye-catching displays at Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026.

The side profile of the AM-T03 Star Saber prototype gives a clear read on the leg construction, with dense, layered armor plating running from the hip joint down through the shin and into the segmented foot. The wing assembly extends well past the back of the figure, with long fin sections stacking tightly together.

The full Takara Tomy booth at Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 gives a broader look at the AM-T03 Star Saber prototype in context, surrounded by displays from across the Transformers lineup including Studio Series, Masterpiece, and Missing Link releases. It’s a packed booth with a mix of production figures and prototypes on display, and the Star Saber prototype still manages to hold its own among all of it.

Studio Series Transformers Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Takara Tomy Booth 2

Grimlock’s figure gets a tighter look at the torso and upper body, with layered, interlocking armor panels running down the chest and segmented tubing and mechanical detailing winding through the midsection. Those jagged teeth lining both jaws have a nasty, organic quality to them that contrasts nicely with the hard mechanical plating across the rest of the sculpt.

Studio Series Transformers Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Takara Tomy Booth 3

His upper torso and head sculpt are framed tightly here, with that single pointed horn rising from the crown of the helmet and a small red eye recessed deep into the layered facial plating. The metallic green finish across the chest and shoulder armor has a subtle shift in tone under the booth lighting, and the sheer density of overlapping mechanical panels on this thing is honestly wild.

Here is Grimlock in robot mode towering over the surrounding figures and carrying a spiked mace and a long-handled hammer that emphasize the sheer scale of the piece. Smaller figures from across the Transformers lineup crowd the shelf at its feet, and the weathered metallic green and gray deco on that layered mechanical armor holds up even from a distance in this packed booth environment.

This scan from a Japanese magazine or catalog page gives a full breakdown of Studio Series TS-33 Grimlock, showing the robot mode, beast mode, and a shot of an Optimus Prime figure riding on the dinosaur’s back. The dense mechanical sculpting across both modes is packed with jagged teeth, layered armor plating, and a weathered gray deco that matches the Age of Extinction movie design.

Wheeljack is in vehicle mode, featuring a low-slung profile with “638” printed on the side panel, a blue windshield, and green accent stripes near the hood. The roof-mounted weapon and rear spoiler give the alt mode a distinctly Cybertronian edge, and the silver multi-spoke wheels are a sharp detail at this scale.

Transformers New Legends

Beast Wars II

Galvatron

Galvatron’s unpainted gray prototype holds its spot among the New Legends section of the Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Takara Tomy booth, with that massive wing-and-claw torso silhouette and multi-barreled leg cannons giving him one of the most imposing profiles on the entire booth floor. The NL-07 placard at the base identifies this as a Beast Wars II Galvatron, and even surrounded by the dense mix of production figures and prototypes filling every shelf, that raw gray sculpt with all its layered beast-mode kibble is hard to walk past.

Galvatron’s unpainted gray prototype is on display at the Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Takara Tomy booth, with a heavily layered torso sculpt featuring angular chest plates, crosshatched vent detailing on the upper back panels, and sharp claw-like shoulder armor rising above the head. Other figures from across the booth’s packed mix of production pieces and prototypes are partially visible at the base of the display.

Galvatron’s unpainted prototype gets a tighter framing on the upper torso, with that central chest plate carrying a circular mechanical port detail surrounded by faceted armor panels and sharp wing-like shoulder structures rising on either side. The head sculpt nails that scowling faceplate with narrow slit eyes and a pointed crown crest, and the amount of layered surface detail packed into this gray resin is seriously impressive.

Gigastorm

Gigastorm’s beast mode is on full display with that gold horn crest, yellow eye detailing, and purple clawed hands giving the dinosaur form a menacing profile among the surrounding New Legends figures. The dense mechanical sculpting across the legs and torso carries circular port details and layered armor segments, and having both beast and robot modes represented on the same shelf really shows off how much engineering is packed into this figure.

Gigastorm dominates this section of the Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Takara Tomy booth, with his towering black and purple frame rising above the surrounding New Legends figures and a massive gold spire crowning the head sculpt. The purple chest panel, teal waist accents, and gold claw detailing on the hands give him a heavy Decepticon presence on a shelf already packed with figures from across the Transformers New Legends lineup.

Rhinox

Rhinox is displayed in full color with his purple and olive green deco, gold accents flanking the helmet, and that signature chest plate covered in circuitry-patterned sculpting framed by a ring of teeth-like ridges. He carries a curved blade and a gatling-style weapon packed with tubes and vented barrel detailing, and honestly, that Beast Wars color scheme looks fantastic on a figure at this scale.

Rhinox holds his place among the dense New Legends section of the Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Takara Tomy booth, with his gatling-style weapon giving him a stocky, heavily armed presence on a shelf packed with figures from across multiple Transformers lines. The rhino beast mode head with its rows of sculpted teeth sits open across the chest, and the surrounding booth environment of production figures and prototypes really shows how much Takara brought to Shizuoka this year.

Nemesis Star Convoy

The Nemesis Star Convoy promotional display panel at the Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Takara Tomy booth showcases the figure’s dark color scheme across robot, trailer, and base modes, with a smaller Shockwave companion figure featured in the upper corner. Nemesis Star Convoy, with his black, teal, and tan deco, red chest window, and Decepticon insignias on both shoulders commanding a massive amount of shelf real estate among the surrounding figures. A smaller purple and green figure stands at his feet for scale, and the sheer size of this piece next to everything else on display really puts the scope of this release into perspective.

Ultra Saurus

Ultra Saurus dominates its section of the Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Takara Tomy booth with a massive mechanical dinosaur sculpt featuring an orange canopy set into the head, rows of sculpted teeth along the lower jaw, and dense clusters of tubes, pistons, and cylindrical barrel detailing running through the neck and torso. The layered gray and silver armor plating across the body carries small circular insignia decals and an orange chest light, and the sheer volume of mechanical engineering packed into this piece makes it one of the more striking non-Transformers displays on the booth floor.

Ultra Saurus Transformers Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Takara Tomy Booth 1

Ultra Saurus is displayed on an elaborate diorama at the Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Takara Tomy booth, with the towering mechanical dinosaur straddling a coastline of miniature city blocks and sculpted ocean terrain that really sells the kaiju-scale presence of this Zoids Advanced Zi piece. The long cannon barrel extending from the lower torso and the dense cluster of weapons mounted across the back and tail sections give it a staggering amount of firepower, and having it set against a full environmental diorama rather than a simple shelf display is a nice touch from Takara.

Ultra Saurus towers over its coastline diorama within the broader Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Takara Tomy booth floor, with the miniature city blocks, sculpted shoreline, and ocean terrain giving this Zoids Advanced Zi display a sense of scale that nothing else on the booth can match. The long cannon barrel extends well past the edge of the diorama base, and surrounded by the dense mix of Transformers production figures and prototypes filling every adjacent shelf, this piece still manages to be one of the most commanding things in the entire venue.

Ultra Saurus commands a massive footprint on the Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Takara Tomy booth floor, with its full coastline diorama of miniature city blocks and sculpted ocean waves stretching out beneath the towering Zoids Advanced Zi piece while Transformers displays from across the booth crowd in on every side. The neck and head rise above the surrounding signage, and the dense array of weapon clusters and cylindrical barrel assemblies along the spine are fully readable even from this wider booth perspective.

Here is a prototype with the dense mechanical dinosaur sculpt showing off layered armor plating, ribbed tubing, ventilation slots, and a turret-mounted cannon assembly across the back. Even without color, the sheer complexity of interlocking panels and pistons running through the legs and torso gives this raw Zoids Advanced Zi prototype a serious amount of presence among the packed booth displays.

Here is another anlge with the chest and leg construction on full display showing dense clusters of ribbed tubing, circular joint housings, and stacked armor segments running through every limb. The surrounding booth shelves packed with Transformers production figures and prototypes from across multiple lines frame this Zoids Advanced Zi piece, but the sheer mechanical density of the sculpt, with its mesh-textured shoulder vents and segmented piston detailing, holds its own against everything around it.

It wasn’t long ago that we were wondering if Ratchet would follow Ironhide into the Transformers Missing Link lineup, and now we have our answer straight from the Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026. When we first covered the early rumors pointing to Soundwave, Ironhide, and Ratchet as potential Missing Link candidates, Ratchet was the one that felt like a natural pairing but had yet to receive any kind of official confirmation, so seeing him on display in person alongside Ironhide is exactly the kind of payoff that makes tracking these things worthwhile. Ironhide has already moved from announcement to full reveal, with official images and a preorder date of May 13, 2026 now locked in, so the fact that Takara Tomy chose this show to pull back the curtain on Ratchet suggests they are building real momentum with the G1 Autobot van mold duo. For those unfamiliar with the Missing Link philosophy, the whole point of the line is to take the original vintage Takara and Hasbro toy engineering and refine it with modern tolerances, updated paint applications, and cartoon-accurate color choices while preserving the classic transformation and proportions that collectors fell in love with decades ago, and Ratchet is a figure that absolutely benefits from that treatment given how far the original toy’s appearance strayed from his animated counterpart. Huge thanks to Ace from Ramen Toy for providing such detailed photos and seeing both Ironhide and Ratchet together, on display really drives home how well this shared mold approach works when the deco and accessories do the heavy lifting to differentiate the two characters. No preorder details or pricing for Ratchet just yet, but given Ironhide’s timeline, it feels like only a matter of time before we get the full breakdown.

The Transformers Missing Link display at the Shizuoka Hobby Show gives a full look at both Ironhide and Ratchet together, with Ironhide shown in both van and robot modes in the foreground alongside his chrome accessory spread, while Ratchet’s robot mode stands on a raised platform behind him. The art card propped up beside Ironhide features a clean G1-style illustration that pairs nicely with the figures on display.

Ironhide

Ironhide’s robot mode is predominantly red with chrome detailing on the forearms and midsection, and the Autobot insignia sits square on his chest plate. A white and red Ratchet stands behind him for a nice side-by-side display, really showing off how the two share that classic van mold with distinct color breakdowns.

Ironhide Ratchet Transformers Missing Link Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Booth 9

The classic yellow side stripes run along the lower body of the red van mode, with a black accent breaking up the deco. The Autobot rub sign is partially visible on the roof, and the rubber tires sit on chrome hubcaps, a detail that always feels right on these G1-era molds.

Ironhide Ratchet Transformers Missing Link Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Booth 1

A small female pilot figure in a yellow outfit stands near the front bumper, with a set of missiles still attached to their sprues laid out alongside her. Having accessories on sprues like that is such a classic G1 touch.

Here is a super close image of the female pilot and the paint app looks great!

Ironhide Ratchet Transformers Missing Link Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Booth 5

The top-down view of Ironhide gives a good look at how the vehicle roof forms his chest plate, with the windshield panel framing the Diaclone pilot seated inside. Chrome drill-style weapons are equipped on both arms, and the rubber tires tucked into the shoulders add a nice bit of texture against all that red plastic.

Ironhide Ratchet Transformers Missing Link Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Booth 7

Ironhide’s red van mode from above shows the rear window and roof panel lines cleanly, with his full chrome weapon loadout laid out beside him, including the drill-style arm attachments, the triple missile rack, and a small Diaclone pilot figure. Having accessories on sprues like that is such a classic G1 touch.

Ironhide Ratchet Transformers Missing Link Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Booth 10

The display screen shows the original 1984 Ironhide alongside the 2026 Missing Link C-14 version, and the difference in proportions and sculpt refinement is striking. The vintage figure has that classic blocky silhouette with its simplified limbs and loose accessory fit, while the 2026 version tightens everything up with cleaner lines, sharper detail on the head sculpt, and a much more cohesive red color scheme across the body.

Ironhide Ratchet Transformers Missing Link Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Booth 12

The promotional display screen highlights Ironhide’s C-14 release with both van and robot modes shown together, and a lower banner reveals that the figure features two distinct robot mode transformations from the single van mode.

Ironhide Ratchet Transformers Missing Link Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Booth 13

The contents screen breaks down Ironhide’s full kit, with the red van mode front and center alongside each included accessory labeled individually: a set of three rockets on a sprue, the Diaclone female pilot figure, a laser weapon, and a drill attachment. It’s a clean layout that confirms everything packed into the box at a glance.

Ironhide Ratchet Transformers Missing Link Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Booth 14

Ratchet

Ratchet is looking amazing in this front shot, with his classic red and white color scheme on full display across the chest, arms, and legs. The chrome waist detail and yellow eyes on the head sculpt are great touches, and three additional chrome missiles are laid out in front of the figure.

Ironhide Ratchet Transformers Missing Link Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Booth 3

The female pilot figure is tucked into the open cockpit area behind the head sculpt, fitting snugly into the interior cabin space. Her small scale relative to the robot mode really sells that Diaclone-era driver gimmick.

Ironhide Ratchet Transformers Missing Link Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026 Booth 4

Ratchet’s top-down view shows the white van roof forming his upper torso, with the red cross shoulder panels flanking the central cabin section. Three chrome missiles are laid out nearby, matching the one already loaded into the back-mounted launcher.

After months of waiting, we finally have official images of the Transformers Missing Link Ironhide C-14, and this is one of those releases that really ties together everything the Missing Link line has been doing so well. We first caught wind of this one when early rumors pointed to Ironhide and Ratchet joining the lineup, and then things started to take shape when the official announcement dropped, confirming what collectors had been hoping for. Now, courtesy of Amazon Japan, we can feast our eyes on the fully revealed figure in all his red Vanette glory, and preorders are set to officially launch on May 13, 2026. The Missing Link concept continues to hit the sweet spot between vintage charm and modern engineering, faithfully recreating the feel of the original toy while allowing a clean one-piece transformation from that iconic Nissan Cherry Vanette-style van into a more heroic, cartoon-accurate robot mode that can actually achieve a wide range of action poses, which is something the original figure could never really pull off convincingly. I love how the construction still incorporates die-cast metal, which gives these figures a weight and presence that connects them directly to the G1 era in a way that purely plastic figures simply cannot replicate. The secret emblem on the robot body is a fantastic touch too, revealing the Autobot insignia when warmed by touch, just like the rub signs we all remember obsessing over as kids. The packaging stays true to the era as well, with the box illustration based on the original artwork from the time, and a collection card is included to round out the presentation. Going from early intel to the official reveal on this one has been exactly the kind of journey that makes following this line so rewarding, and now it is just a matter of locking in that preorder on May 13th and waiting for Ironhide to finally roll into the collection.

Official Details (Translated from Amazon Japan)

  • The “Missing Link” series imagines vintage-style revival editions of toys that might have existed back in the day. The 14th entry in the line is the Cybertron guardian “Ironhide”!
  • Ironhide was originally planned for the overseas launch lineup in 1984, but when the line was introduced domestically in Japan in 1985, the release was ultimately canceled. The original toy separated from a vehicle into two mecha components, and the robot mode looked very different from the animated version, taking on a power-loader style appearance. The head was represented by a sticker placed on the seat visible through the front windshield.
  • What Missing Link set out to create this time is a “what if” version: what if Ironhide had been produced back then with the same heroic concept style as the other Cybertrons and with a look much closer to the anime design?
  • Ironhide transforms from a red Nissan Cherry Vanette-style van into robot mode. The construction still uses some die-cast metal, faithfully recreating the feel of the original toy while allowing a one-piece transformation from vehicle to a more heroic robot appearance. In robot mode, the figure can also achieve a wide range of action poses.
  • As a third mode, it can also transform into the “reset mode” package-style display state inspired by the original release.
  • Weapons that appeared in the anime, such as the “Drill” and “Laser,” are included with new equipment designs. Rockets can be attached or removed from the rocket launcher mounted on the back, and the drill and rockets can also be stored inside the backpack.
  • Some of the details that were originally represented with stickers have now been recreated with sculpted detail and paint applications. Foil stickers are also included for optional application.
  • A female “human” type figure, the same mold as the one included with the separately sold C-11 Delta Magnus, is included and can ride in all modes.
  • A “secret emblem” is attached to the robot body, revealing the faction mark when warmed by touch.
  • The back of the robot includes a stand connection port compatible with separately sold display stands, allowing for dynamic action poses.
  • The package illustration is based on the image of the time, and a collection card is also included.61Fb8J4mrVL. AC SL1100

Official Images

Ironhide’s official images show a predominantly red robot mode with the van’s front end forming the chest, complete with a chrome bumper and a yellow-and-red striped detail below the windshield. The figure incorporates die-cast metal in the midsection, and the chrome finish on the waist and joints gives it a satisfying weight, with vehicle mode wheels integrated into the shoulders and lower legs.

61+f+zT9d2L. AC SL1100

Ironhide’s van mode is a clean red Nissan Cherry Vanette-style design with tinted windows, silver hubcaps, and that signature yellow-and-red stripe running along the side. The robot mode shows the van’s windshield sitting squarely in the chest, with sculpted hands featuring individually defined fingers, a nice detail for a figure built around faithful recreation of the original toy.

61C+65y4bgL. AC SL1100

Ironhide’s lower legs feature small wheels tucked into the shins, and the feet have yellow striping that matches the van mode’s side deco.

61Ggn0xkNtL. AC SL1100

Ironhide’s head sculpt features a silver face with yellow visor eyes, framed by the red helmet and flanked by the van’s roof panels folding neatly behind the shoulders.

61Lb7ot+4TL. AC SL1100

Ironhide’s van mode shows the Autobot insignia stamped on the front panel, with a chrome bumper and rectangular headlights flanking it.

61OgFArKUFL. AC SL1100

Ironhide’s full accessory spread includes a set of three missiles on a connected rack, a small female pilot figure, and two blaster-style weapons with distinct sculpted detailing. These official Amazon Japan images round out the accessory lineup ahead of preorders launching on May 13, 2026.

61Q0s6rAKjL. AC SL1100

This comparison places the original 1984 product alongside the new C-14 Ironhide, and the updated version carries a cleaner, more proportional robot mode with a taller silhouette and tighter panel integration across the torso and limbs.

61sddvEFvRL. AC SL1100

Ironhide is shown in both van and robot modes, with the transformation sequence laid out across three views. The robot mode carries a blaster with a sculpted barrel, and the van’s front grille and striping carry over cleanly into the chest area of the converted form.

613q6TmoRgL. AC SL1100

Ironhide takes center stage in a full Autobot lineup, surrounded by familiar faces like Ultra Magnus, Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Arcee, and over a dozen other teammates, giving a strong sense of how his scale fits within the broader collection.

I finally got Nemesis Prime C-01N in hand and the Missing Link line has been doing something really special by reimagining what the original G1 toy line could have been with modern engineering, and seeing that concept applied to Nemesis Prime is awesome. Built on the C-01 Optimus Prime mold, everything here has been reworked to reflect that dark mirror identity. The black and teal deco is sharp, the Decepticon branded sticker sheet is a nice touch, and the inclusion of a new character card gives this release some real weight as its own thing rather than just a palette swap. What I love about the Missing Link figures is how they preserve that classic G1 silhouette and the satisfying heft of diecast while giving you the articulation that the originals never had. Nemesis Prime carries all of that forward, and the accessory count is generous with the trailer, axe, fusion cannon, Heart of Cybertron, and even Giza (aka Roller) is there is a teal paint app. It all comes together really well, and having a Decepticon entry in this line opens the door for so much more. I am really happy with this one. Huge thanks to Big Bad Toy Store for sending this Nemesis Prime C-01N over for review, and if he has been on your must have list, you can still grab him now at Big Bad Toy Store.

Packaging

The outer box for Nemesis Prime keeps things stripped down and utilitarian, with a stark black finish and bold white typography. It’s a no-frills protective sleeve designed purely to keep the inner box safe, and I appreciate that clean, minimalist approach.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 2

The back of the outer sleeve is exactly what you’d expect, just a clean black panel with the product designation and multilingual text. No artwork, no photography, just a straightforward protective layer doing its job before you get to the real presentation inside.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 4

The inner box is a gorgeous throwback to classic G1 Takara packaging, with that purple grid background and detailed character artwork showing both robot and vehicle modes. I love seeing Optimus Prime’s iconic silhouette reimagined in that dark Decepticon color scheme, and the purple and black palette across the entire box just screams villain energy in the best way.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 3

The back of the box is pure 80s magic, with that sprawling G1 battle artwork showing Nemesis Prime and other Decepticons clashing in a cosmic warzone full of laser blasts and explosions. The right panel breaks down four different formation configurations for the trailer, and the bottom section features the classic Japanese tech spec stat bars that were such a staple of vintage Takara packaging.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 1

It’s cool to see the sides of the inner box showcasing Nemesis Prime in two distinct poses, one with that classic mid-action leap alongside the trailer and another with the axe raised high. The purple grid background ties both panels together beautifully, and you really get a sense of how the dark Decepticon deco transforms the familiar Optimus Prime silhouette into something completely different.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 17

Here’s everything laid out in that classic styrofoam tray, which is such a nostalgic touch that takes you right back to the G1 era of cracking open a brand new Transformer. Nemesis Prime sits in vehicle mode alongside all the included paperwork: the instruction sheet, a collectible character card, a sticker sheet loaded with Decepticon emblems and console details, and that red decoder card, which is a fun little bonus you don’t see packed in with figures anymore.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 5

Here’s all the accessories Nemesis Prime comes with, and I love that several of them are still on their sprues, giving it that old-school model kit feel you just don’t get with most figures today. You’ve got the axe, fusion cannon, missiles on a sprue, Giza and the giza tires on their own sprue, the Heart of Cybertron, the energy supply pump and hose, so there’s a lot to clip and assemble here.

Figure Details

Nemesis Prime fresh out of the box in vehicle mode, and I have to say the black and teal color scheme really works here. The cab’s deep black finish paired with those teal racing stripes running along the gray trailer creates a sinister take on the classic Optimus flatnose semi that feels distinctly Decepticon without losing any of that iconic G1 style.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 8

From the back, you can see the trailer’s rear panel has nice sculpted line details running horizontally across it, with a clean hinged door section and that sturdy rear bumper sitting just above the dual axle wheels. The cab’s dark finish contrasts sharply with the gray trailer when viewed from this angle, and those chrome exhaust stacks flanking the cab really pop.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 9

I love this left-side view of the cab in vehicle mode, where you get a great look at that Decepticon emblem stamped right on the side panel and the purple cab windows that give the whole truck an ominous personality. The chrome exhaust stack, fuel tank cylinder, and those textured rubber tires all add layers of detail that make this Prime one of the most iconic characters of all time and no wonder they have used this mold in so many different ways in this line.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 10

The right side of the cab mirrors the left perfectly, with the same Decepticon emblem placement, purple cab windows, chrome exhaust stack, and fuel tank cylinder all matching up symmetrically.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 11

The front and rear views of Nemesis Prime in robot mode really let you appreciate how that deep black deco works across the whole figure, with the fusion cannon mounted on one arm and that gorgeous axe. I love the axe especially, its pinkish-red coloring makes it pop dramatically against all that dark armor, giving Nemesis Prime a classic weapon that pops!

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 16

The cab section folds down to reveal the Heart of Cyberton (aka Matrix of Leadership) seated in Nemesis Prime’s chest, and it looks absolutely awesome. The gunmetal finish on the Matrix with that purple center gem is a perfect complement to the overall dark deco, making it one of my favorite details on the entire figure.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 6

Here’s the repair drone removed from the trailer and set up on its own, and you can see how it sits on that articulated scissor-lift arm that lets you adjust the height and angle of the turret assembly. The dual-barrel cannon module with its red dome housing has some great mechanical detail packed into a compact little piece.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 12

Here’s a look at the underside of the repair drone, and you can see the four small wheels molded into the chassis that let it roll along flat surfaces. They’re simple but cleanly sculpted with nice gear-tooth ridging around each one, keeping that mechanical feel consistent with the rest of the piece.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 13

Here is Nemesis Prime’s version of Roller, but in this alternate universe he is called Giza. You can see both front and rear views of the compact little scout vehicle, with its chunky six-wheeled chassis, and you can mount the fusion cannon on him, and that small red dome perched on the rear turret section looks like a light the way it was designed and you can simply flip it over as it is on a hinge for a different look.

Nemesis Prime C 01N Transformers Missing Link Review 15

Here is Nemesis Prime with his trailer standing up and opened behind him, revealing the colorful tech-detail sticker panels applied to the interior walls alongside the mounted weapons and connector clips. The teal Roller vehicle and the black laser cannon companion sit flanking him on either side, and I love how the full spread of accessories really shows off the scope of what you get with this set.

Cowabunga! We love when Playmates Toys keeps delivering the goods for TMNT fans, and today we’ve got a super exciting preorder heads up for you. The TMNT Classic Remastered Raphel vs. Rocksteady 2-Pack is now live on Amazon, and preorders should be opening up very soon, so you’ll want to keep your eyes on that page! Thanks to @2ndtimearoundtoysandcomics for the heads up! This 2-pack brings together two absolute icons from the 1988 original Playmates lineup, Raphael and Rocksteady, reimagined with modern articulation and incredibly detailed sculpts while staying true to those classic designs we all fell in love with as kids. I always loved the rivalry between the Turtles and the Foot Clan’s mutant muscle, and seeing Raph squared up against Rocksteady in one set just feels right. Each figure stands at 4.5 inches, comes loaded with iconic accessories, and features special battle damage deco that adds so much fun to the presentation. One of the coolest things about this release is the reversible illustrated box designed as the Sewer Lair, which doubles as a display piece. How cool is that?! Playmates really knows how to make these Classic Remastered sets feel special for collectors who grew up on the original toy line. Pricing and exact ship date haven’t been confirmed just yet, so keep checking that Amazon listing for updates as they roll in. If you’re building out your Classic Remastered TMNT shelf, this is one you won’t want to miss. NOW LIVE ON Amazon! So let’s take a look at the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classic Remastered Raph vs. Rocksteady 2-Pack by Playmates Toys!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classic Remastered Raph vs. Rocksteady 2-Pack

The box artwork is a blast of vintage energy, with Raphael and Rocksteady squaring off against a sewer brick wall dripping with green ooze. You can see how the illustrated style leans hard into that late-’80s aesthetic, with Raph sporting his classic red mask and battle-scarred plastron while Rocksteady looms behind a sewer lid shield, and the whole scene wraps around a reversible box designed to double as a Sewer Lair display.

TMNT Classic Remastered Raph vs. Rocksteady 1

The top of the box continues the sewer environment with illustrated stone grating, blue skylight panels, and rusted pipe openings caked in ooze. It’s a nice touch that the packaging artwork extends across every surface, making the whole thing feel like a cohesive diorama even before you open it.

TMNT Classic Remastered Raph vs. Rocksteady 2

The back of the box leans into a gritty sewer scene with scattered trash, a dented metal garbage can, and pools of neon green ooze lining the bottom edge. I like how the silhouettes of two figures are cast against the yellowed wall, teasing the confrontation inside without giving away the sculpt details.

TMNT Classic Remastered Raph vs. Rocksteady 3

Here’s a closer look at both figures out of the box, and you really get a sense of how much detail they packed into these 4.5-inch sculpts. Raphael’s yellow plastron has that signature “R” scratched into it along with a black utility belt, while Rocksteady towers beside him in a battered gray rhino hide with brown pants covered in teal splatter marks, gripping a sewer lid shield stamped “City Sewer.”

TMNT Classic Remastered Raph vs. Rocksteady 4

The reversible Sewer Lair display really earns its keep here, with that illustrated stone archway framing the two figures perfectly against the purple-walled interior complete with a weapons rack, hanging scrolls, and framed portraits. Something I appreciate here is how the sewer pipe overhead and ooze-dripping brickwork give the flat cardboard backdrop genuine depth, turning the packaging into a legit display piece you’d actually want to keep on a shelf.

TMNT Classic Remastered Raph vs. Rocksteady 8

Here’s a closer look at how the box converts into that Sewer Lair diorama, and the transformation is surprisingly convincing. The stone archway pieces fold out to create a three-dimensional frame around the interior, with the wooden floor, braided rug, and weapon-lined back wall all printed on flat cardboard yet selling the illusion of a lived-in underground space.

TMNT Classic Remastered Raph vs. Rocksteady 9

Raphael comes with a pair of silver sai, each featuring that classic three-pronged design with red-wrapped handles that tie back into his signature color. Rocksteady’s accessories include a serrated machete and a blaster rifle, both molded in silver-gray, plus that sewer lid shield, giving him a solid loadout for a two-pack.

TMNT Classic Remastered Raph vs. Rocksteady 10

Rocksteady’s head sculpt is full of personality, from the heavy brow ridges and wrinkled snout down to his off-white rhino horn poking through a green military helmet fitted with goggles. I like how the scratched tally marks are scattered across his black tank top and brown pants, selling that battle damage deco as something earned rather than decorative.

TMNT Classic Remastered Raph vs. Rocksteady 5

Raphael’s scarred plastron is covered in carved tally marks and hash scratches that mirror the same battle damage deco found on Rocksteady, tying the two figures together thematically across the set. His red elbow pads, wrist wraps, and knee bands all have a slightly glossy finish that contrasts nicely against the matte green of his skin.

TMNT Classic Remastered Raph vs. Rocksteady 6

You can see how the face-off framing really lets each figure’s texture work shine, from Raphael’s deeply carved plastron scratches to the pebbly, almost leathery surface covering Rocksteady’s arms and torso. Rocksteady’s olive belt with oversized pouches sits low on his waist, and those chunky black boots with their thick soles give him a real weight advantage next to Raph’s more streamlined proportions.
