We’ve been keeping an eye on this one and the puzzle pieces are really starting to come together for Series 19 of Mattel’s WWE Superstars retro line. It started when we first spotted Walmart listings for John Cena and Koko B. Ware, giving us early intel on what was coming down the pipeline, and now we can confirm that Hillbilly Jim and King Kong Bundy round out the wave, which lines up perfectly with what was shown at the Mattel booth during WWE World 2026 over WrestleMania week. Going from leaked retail listings to an official booth reveal and now back to retail confirmation is exactly the kind of journey that makes tracking these things so satisfying, because you get to watch the full picture take shape in real time. The wave is shaping up to be a love letter to the golden era of WWE, with Koko B. Ware and his High Energy persona joining Hillbilly Jim, who is one of those deep cuts from the mid-80s Hogan era that a lot of collectors have been wanting to see in this retro format for a while now. King Kong Bundy adds some serious heavyweight presence to the lineup, and then you’ve got John Cena representing the modern side of the roster, which gives the wave a nice spread across eras. Now, these Walmart listings are live but not actually available for purchase just yet, so think of this as your heads-up to keep checking back on the Walmart listings so you can jump on them the moment they go live.

The full WWE Superstars display was packed at WWE World and featured the figures from Series 19, among Series 17 and 18. The Series 19 figure assortment was confirmed to be John Cena, Koko B Ware, Hillbilly Jim, and King Kong Bundy.

Koko B Ware

Koko B. Ware holds Frankie aloft, the blue and gold macaw perched on his fist with wings spread wide, showing off beautifully sculpted feather detail in vibrant blue and yellow plastic. Sporting a yellow and blue headband, white-framed sunglasses pushed up on his forehead, and a gold chain around his neck, the figure’s accessories really nail his classic look.

Frankie the macaw gets a great close-up here, with the sculpted feather detail on the spread wings showing individual layered rows in bright yellow on top transitioning to deep blue underneath. Koko B. Ware and King Kong Bundy both reach up toward the bird, and I like how the white talons have a nice grip sculpt where they clasp onto Bundy’s fingers.

Hillbilly Jim

Hillbilly Jim’s denim overalls have a fantastic woven fabric texture with white stitching detail on the chest pocket and brass-colored clasps at the straps, layered over a red shirt peeking through at the collar. A brown bucket hat sits atop his curly dark hair, and that head sculpt captures a warm, bearded grin with nicely sculpted wavy locks framing his face.

I’ve got to say, I’m really fired up about this one, because there’s nothing quite like seeing figures in person and that’s exactly the experience we had at WWE World 2026 where we were on the ground covering the Mattel booth for the very first time. For me personally, this trip was extra meaningful because WWE World was tied to WrestleMania 42, which marked only my third Mania ever, a journey that started all the way back at WrestleMania 7, then picked up again at 31, and now brought everything full circle with 42. Walking into that venue and seeing the Mattel booth stacked floor to ceiling with product was one of those moments that reminds you why the hobby hits so hard, because no amount of scrolling through social media can replicate what it feels like to stand inches away from upcoming figures and soak in the sculpts, the paint, the scale, and the sheer volume of what’s coming down the pipeline. The booth was loaded with displays spanning multiple lines, and we’ll be highlighting figures from the LJN WWE Superstars line, WWE Superstars and even a surprise showing of MOTU Chronicles figures and the reveal of the continuation of the Masters of the WWE Universe that caught us completely off guard and had us doing double takes. That last one alone is worth the price of admission if you’re a Masters of the Universe collector and a fan of the WWE, and we’ll be getting into all of it with a full gallery of booth images so you can see exactly what we saw. Feast your eyes on everything Mattel brought to WWE World 2026.

Mattel Booth WWE World 2026

The Mattel booth entrance features a large octagonal archway with “Superstar” lettering, flanked by red-lit panels with wrestler silhouette artwork and a massive illuminated sign overhead. Crowds fill the floor as the WWE Superstars section with its retro-inspired artwork and display shelves sits just to the side of the entrance.

IMG 0282

A large display case packed with WWE Elite figures is set against a Vegas-themed diorama backdrop complete with palm trees, casino tables, and a WrestleMania Vegas sign. The scene is loaded with figures spread across the full width of the case, with props like poker tables and slot machines adding a fun thematic touch to the setup.

IMG 0191

Four display shelves are stacked vertically, each showcasing a different WWE line from the Mattel booth at WWE World. The top shelf features the WWE Superstars line with its retro-styled packaging and colorful figures, the second shelf houses the Masters of the WWE Universe collection complete with a Castle Grayskull-inspired playset and ring, while the two bottom shelves are dedicated to The Monday Night War WWE vs. WCW theme with figures posed across a diamond plate-styled shelf alongside their packaged counterparts.

IMG 0265

Attendees crowd around the corner of the Mattel booth, where rows of display cases showcase a mix of WWE figures across multiple lines. The red-lit wall section features several shelves of figures and packaged items, while the adjacent blue wall highlights the LJN WWE Superstars retro line with artwork of classic wrestlers like Ultimate Warrior and Stone Cold Steve Austin framing the figures.

IMG 0279

The opposite side of the Mattel booth wraps in black and red panels, with the WWE Ultimate Edition artwork front and center featuring illustrated figures of Hulk Hogan, Rhea Ripley, and Cody Rhodes. Red neon lightning bolts accent the wall between the character art, giving the whole corner a bold, eye-catching presence on the convention floor.

LJN WWE Superstars Wave 3

The LJN WWE Superstars section of the booth is anchored by a massive illustrated mural featuring Roddy Piper in his kilt, Ultimate Warrior in his orange trunks, and Stone Cold Steve Austin with arms raised, all painted in a style that channels the classic LJN card art. Carded and loose figures from the wave are displayed in recessed shelves built into the wall, with painted crowd and commentary scenes filling the spaces between them, tying the whole display together as one cohesive piece of retro wrestling artwork.

LJN WWE Superstars Wave 3 WWE World 2026 Booth 13

Four carded figures from the LJN WWE Superstars Wave 3 are on display here, with two “Rowdy” Roddy Piper variants on the top shelf and Jelly Roll alongside Jake “The Snake” Roberts on the bottom. I like the way the Piper figures capture his classic look with the white “Hot Rod” tee and plaid kilt, while Jake comes with a green snake draped over his shoulders, and Jelly Roll sports an all-black outfit with sneakers.

LJN WWE Superstars Wave 3 WWE World 2026 Booth 1

The two Roddy Piper variants get a closer look here, each carded on the blue WWE Superstars backer with the classic illustrated crowd scene behind them. Over on the adjacent shelf, The Rock is displayed with two carded versions of his own, wearing black trunks and boots with a championship belt sculpted at his waist.

LJN WWE Superstars Wave 3 WWE World 2026 Booth 2

Jelly Roll and Jake “The Snake” Roberts are displayed out of their packaging here, each on a clear stand in front of their respective cards. Jake’s green tights have a great purple snake pattern running down them, and the olive-colored snake draped across his shoulders has a nice rubbery look to it.

LJN WWE Superstars Wave 3 WWE World 2026 Booth 3

Jake “The Snake” Roberts stands with his arms spread wide, Damien coiled across his shoulders and winding down around both wrists. His purple lace-up boots have solid sculpted detail on the lacing, and the snake deco on the green tights looks even better up close with the purple serpents wrapping cleanly around each leg.

LJN WWE Superstars Wave 3 WWE World 2026 Booth 4

Jelly Roll’s head sculpt is really solid, with the cross tattoo on his forehead, a wide grin, and a black cap sitting snugly over his brow. Clad in an all-black button-up shirt and matching pants, his sneakers have a black and white colorway with a nice glossy finish on the uppers.

LJN WWE Superstars Wave 3 WWE World 2026 Booth 5

Rowdy Roddy Piper is posed out of package in front of his black chase variant card, and it’s cool to see the darker card art paired with the figure’s white “Hot Rod” tee and plaid kilt. His head sculpt captures a smirking expression with brown hair swept to the side, and those red lace-up boots have crisp sculpted detail running up the shins.

LJN WWE Superstars Wave 3 WWE World 2026 Booth 6

The loose Roddy Piper figure stands between both carded versions, with the blue card on one side and the black chase variant on the other, giving a nice comparison of the two packaging colorways. His plaid kilt has a mix of green, red, and gold tones in the tartan pattern, and the “Hot Rod” script across the white tee has a yellow and red color scheme that pops against the fabric.

LJN WWE Superstars Wave 3 WWE World 2026 Booth 7

The Rock takes center stage here, posed loose between his two carded versions, with the blue card on one side and the black variant on the other. He’s wearing black trunks and boots with black elbow pads, and that championship belt around his waist has a gold and blue deco with nice detail in the center plate.

LJN WWE Superstars Wave 3 WWE World 2026 Booth 8

A close-up of The Rock’s head sculpt shows his arched eyebrow expression and neatly sculpted sideburns running sharp along each jawline. The championship belt gets a better look here too, with the gold center plate featuring a blue globe emblem and fine etched lettering around its edge.

LJN WWE Superstars Wave 3 WWE World 2026 Booth 9

Ultimate Warrior and Stone Cold Steve Austin are displayed loose in front of their respective carded packaging, each standing on a clear base. Warrior sports his classic orange trunks and matching arm tassels with face paint detail on the sculpt, while Austin wears a black vest with “Austin 3:16” lettering over black trunks and boots.

LJN WWE Superstars Wave 3 WWE World 2026 Booth 10

Jesse “The Body” Ventura is decked out in a full pink suit with white star accents, matching pink sunglasses, and a white bow tie, holding a microphone that completes his classic commentator look. King Kong Bundy stands beside him in his black singlet with matching black boots, and I’m really digging the scowling expression on that head sculpt with its clean bald dome.

LJN WWE Superstars Wave 3 WWE World 2026 Booth 11

Dusty Rhodes, John Cena, and Hulk Hogan from the LJN WWE Superstars Wave 1 are displayed loose in front of Hogan’s carded packaging, which features that classic purple backer with illustrated crowd silhouettes. Dusty’s black and yellow polka dot singlet is a great nod to his iconic ring gear, while Cena wears his red “Never Give Up / Cenation” tee over blue shorts and a red cap.

Masters of the WWE Universe

The Masters of the WWE Universe figures share a glass display case with a stunning Masters of the Universe Chronicles diorama, where over a dozen MOTU figures are posed across a rocky Eternia-inspired terrain with a fiery orange sky behind them. The lower panel features gorgeous Chronicles key art with Castle Grayskull bathed in golden light on one side and Snake Mountain on the other, tying both lines together under one display.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 1

The Masters of the WWE Universe figures are grouped together on a rocky Eternia-style terrain, with Cody Rhodes wielding an axe in his silver chest armor and blue pants, Hollywood Hulk Hogan ripping a guitar in his black and white nWo gear, and Scott Hall throwing up too sweet gesture in a black bat-emblazoned armor. Down front, Bray Wyatt holds a translucent purple lantern while wearing a red jacket over lavender pants like Prince Adam, Kevin Nash sports his red and black Wolfpac-inspired armor, and Shawn Michael carries his bow with blue and gold attire featuring a heart emblem on the chest.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 2

Shawn Michael’s Bow-inspired look gets a closer shot here, with the blue bow accessory and yellow arrow staff both in hand. His blue goggles sit perched on his forehead over sculpted blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail, and the soft goods black cape drapes nicely behind the blue and yellow costume.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 3

Bray Wyatt’s Prince Adam-inspired look comes through nicely here, with the red jacket open over a white chest and a black belt cinched at the waist with a small yellow buckle. He’s holding a translucent purple lantern and what appears to be Abby the Witch, a purple translucent accessory with flowing robes and a textured hood that has a great jewel-like quality to the plastic.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 4

Armed with a gold-toned battle axe, Cody Rhodes is posed here in his silver chest armor with a patriotic eagle crest printed across the front and bright red wrist cuffs on both arms. His blue pants feature a red belt with studded detail and a matching Cody logo on the thigh, while Hollywood Hulk Hogan lurks behind him in his nWo gear gripping a gold guitar.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 5

Kevin Nash’s Wolfpac-inspired armor gets a great look here, with red and black bat-wing shoulder pieces flanking a Horde emblem at the center of his chest.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 6

Scott Hall flashes a “too sweet” hand gesture here, his smirking head sculpt showing off a confident grin with dark hair swept back into a ponytail. The white sword he’s gripping has a black crossguard with a chunky, fantasy-styled hilt that fits the MOTU aesthetic nicely.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 7

Hollywood Hulk Hogan is posed gripping the gold championship belt like a guitar, and the belt’s sculpted detail with its circular center medallion and raised rivets has a nice metallic sheen to it. Sporting his black “Hollywood” bandana, white sunglasses, and a black and white sleeveless tee with matching trunks, the white lace-up boots with knee-high white kick pads complete his classic nWo look.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 8

The Masters of the WWE Universe shelf is loaded with product here, featuring the Fright Zone Ring playset at the center flanked by carded figures on either side, including Hollywood Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels in their MOTU-styled packaging. Loose figures are spread across the full width of the display, with the Fright Zone Ring box sitting to the right of the ring and protoype figures posed in front, giving a nice sense of the full scope of this wave and what is to come down the line.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 9

Bray Wyatt and Shawn Michaels are displayed together out of package, with Bray holding his translucent purple lantern and black mace while the small Abby the Witch figure sits between them on a clear stand. Shawn Michaels grips his blue bow with an orange arrow raised overhead, and I like the look of those bright orange boots against the blue and black costume.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 10

Bray Wyatt’s black mace gets a better look here, with a spiked ball head connected to a gnarled staff that has a knotted, branch-like texture running down the handle. The Abby the Witch accessory stands in front of him, and that translucent purple plastic really does have a gorgeous jewel-like quality, with the sculpted face peeking out from beneath the flowing hooded robes.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 11

Shawn Michaels gets a closer look here, with his blue heart-logo chest piece tapering down to a V-shaped cutout over the torso and a small heart emblem at the belt line. His orange wrist cuffs and matching orange boots create a bold contrast against the blue costume.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 12

The Shawn Michaels carded figure is displayed here in its Masters of the WWE Universe packaging, with the card art featuring that classic Castle Grayskull-inspired rocky terrain and blue crystal formations framing the blister.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 13

The carded Hollywood Hulk Hogan figure fills the frame here, with the Masters of the WWE Universe card art showcasing those signature blue crystal formations and stone castle terrain behind the blister. Bray Wyatt stands loose just to the side in his red jacket and lavender pants, his “Hollywood” labeled white arm giving a sense of scale next to the packaged figure.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 14

The Fright Zone Ring playset takes center stage here, with its green stone-textured base supporting a yellow ring platform framed by orange ropes and four corner posts topped with translucent teal crystal spires. Three figures are posed inside the ring, with Shawn Michaels, Cody Rhodes, and what appears to be a black and white costumed wrestler filling out the squared circle, while the packaged Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash/Scott Hall two-pack flank either side of the playset.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 15

Cody Rhodes holds his gold battle axe high overhead, the weapon’s broad blade and short handle giving it a chunky, barbarian-style feel that fits the MOTU crossover perfectly. The gold championship belt at his waist has a nicely detailed center plate with what looks like an eagle motif, and those white boots with red ankle wraps finish off the patriotic color scheme running through his whole design.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 16

Hollywood Hulk Hogan is posed inside a wrestling ring here, holding a white crossbow accessory while throwing up too sweet gesture with the other hand. His white and black helmet with a center fin sits snug over dark sunglasses, and the black armor features a large white Horde symbol splashed across the chest.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 17

The Two-Bad mashup fuses Scott Hall and Kevin Nash into one incredible two-headed figure, with Hall’s long brown hair and dark sunglasses on one side and Nash’s slicked-back black hair and smirking expression on the other. Sporting an open blue vest over mismatched red and light blue pants with a studded black belt, the split color scheme carries through to the wrist cuffs, with a red cuff on Hall’s side and a white one on Nash’s, nailing the Wolfpac and Hall fusion.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 18

The prototypes for The Rock, Ax, Crush, and Smash of Demolition are grouped together, each decked out in spiked silver armor over black trunks and boots. The Rock stands to the far left carrying a red trident and wearing a red fur-trimmed loincloth, while the three Demolition members share matching spiked shoulder pads, gauntlets, and studded black wrist guards, with Smash on the far right wielding a massive silver hammer.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 19

The Fright Zone Ring packaging features illustrated box art depicting Kevin Nash and Scott Hall squaring off inside a yellow-roped ring set against a crumbling stone dungeon entrance flanked by eerie blue flames. The side panel shows both figures with their full accessory loadouts, Nash in his red armor with crossbow and Scott Hall in his blue and gold outfit wielding a bow and arrow, all framed by that classic MOTU-style painted rocky terrain.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 20

The Rock’s look is fully on display here, with his red fur-trimmed shoulder pieces and matching red loincloth layered over a silver chest strap and black boots. He’s gripping a red trident with a wicked three-pronged head, and the dark brown staff has a wrapped, textured grip that gives it a nice primitive feel.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 21

Ax’s spiked silver armor is covered in sharp conical studs across the chest plate, with a studded belt sitting low at the waist and matching spiked gauntlets wrapping both forearms. He’s holding a large silver battle axe with a broad double-sided blade, and that head sculpt captures a snarling expression we can’t wait for the classic Demolition face paint to be applied.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 22

Crush’s head sculpt shows a fierce open-mouth snarl and a wild mane of dark hair swept back from the forehead. His black claw gauntlets are massive, which is a reuse from the Terror Claws Skeletor figure, with elongated finger extensions that have a gnarly, segmented look to the sculpted joints.

Masters of the WWE Universe WWE World 2026 Booth 23

Smash holds a massive silver hammer with a skull emblem sculpted into the flat of the head, and the weapon’s long staff features spiked mace-like knobs running along its length. His brown hair falls past his shoulders in thick waves, framing an aggressive open-mouth expression that matches the classic Demolition look.

The full WWE Superstars display is packed with figures from across multiple series, featuring recognizable faces like Hillbilly Jim in his denim overalls and brown hat, the Undertaker in his soft goods trench coat, and Koko B. Dusty Rhodes holds a black nightstick while sporting his iconic black and yellow polka dot singlet, with the Undertaker looming behind him in a full-length soft goods black trench coat that has real fabric weight to it.

WWE Superstars WWE World 2026 Booth 6

Hillbilly Jim’s denim overalls have a fantastic woven fabric texture with white stitching detail on the chest pocket and brass-colored clasps at the straps, layered over a red shirt peeking through at the collar. A brown bucket hat sits atop his curly dark hair, and that head sculpt captures a warm, bearded grin with nicely sculpted wavy locks framing his face.

King Kong Bundy towers over the surrounding figures with Koko B. Ware’s Frankie the macaw perched on his outstretched hand, the blue and gold bird’s spread wings creating a fun visual pairing with the big man’s scowling expression. Flanking him below, Demolition’s face-painted snarls and what appears to be an American flag-themed figure add to the crowded, chaotic energy of this packed display shelf.

MOTU Chronicles

The full spreads across the rocky Eternia terrain, with He-Man mounted on Battle Cat leading the charge on one side while Skeletor holds the high ground on the opposite end, Havoc Staff in hand. Scattered between them, figures like Trap Jaw, Ram Man, Tri-Klops, Evil-Lyn, and what appears to be Man-At-Arms fill out the battlefield, and it’s nice to see a Chronicles display this packed showing up as a surprise at the Mattel booth.

MOTU Chronicles WWE World 2026 Booth 6

He-Man charges into the fray atop Battle Cat, Power Sword held high, while Skeletor commands the high ground behind them with his Havoc Staff raised and purple hood draped over his shoulders. Surrounding them across the rocky terrain, over a dozen Chronicles figures are spread out in a full battle scene, with Trap Jaw, Ram Man, Evil-Lyn, and Tri-Klops among the clash across the Eternia-inspired landscape.

MOTU Chronicles WWE World 2026 Booth 5

He-Man is seated atop Battle Cat, his Power Sword raised high overhead with the silver blade catching the light against the warm glow of the Chronicles diorama. Battle Cat’s green and yellow tiger-striped fur has a nice tonal variation across the haunches and tail, and that red saddle armor sits snugly over the shoulders with a sculpted ridgeline running down the center.

MOTU Chronicles WWE World 2026 Booth 1

Trap Jaw stands front and center among the Chronicles figures, his magenta helmet framing that green-skinned snarl with sharp, menacing teeth sculpted into the jaw piece. Outfitted with a blue torso armor and black leather-textured loincloth, his mechanical arm features a gunmetal cannon attachment with a hollow barrel tip, and those teal knee pad accents add a nice pop of color against the otherwise dark lower half.

MOTU Chronicles WWE World 2026 Booth 2

Trap Jaw’s mechanical arm is shown from the side here, with the gunmetal cannon attachment revealing a segmented elbow joint and a gold circular rivet connecting the upper and lower sections. His magenta helmet has a row of small silver spikes running along the crown ridge, and the green skin of his face contrasts sharply against the blue torso armor as Teela stands posed in the distance behind him.

MOTU Chronicles WWE World 2026 Booth 10

Ram Man’s front view really shows off the patina work on his armor, with the copper-toned chest plate carrying streaks of green verdigris across the riveted surface that give it a convincingly aged, oxidized look. His crimson tasset skirt hangs over olive-green segmented leg guards, and that purple-jeweled mace rests at his side with the serpent-wrapped handle catching a bit of the warm display lighting.

MOTU Chronicles WWE World 2026 Booth 11

The sculpt on Ram Man’s side profile shows his crimson tasset skirt with a crosshatch texture and riveted studs along the scalloped lower edge, layered over segmented olive-green leg armor that transitions into heavy gunmetal shin guards and boots. A dark metallic shoulder pauldron with etched scratch marks caps his arm.

MOTU Chronicles WWE World 2026 Booth 3

From the back, Ram Man’s gray hood reveals a heavy, layered fabric texture with deep sculpted folds cascading down over his shoulders and upper back. The crimson tasset skirt wraps cleanly around the waist from this angle, and those scalloped lower edges with their gold-studded rivets are even more defined here, sitting neatly over the dark green leg armor beneath.

MOTU Chronicles WWE World 2026 Booth 16

Tri-Klops is posed among the Chronicles figures, his olive-green armor and matching helmet sitting over a dark brown bodysuit with gold-ribbed tubes running from the helmet down to each shoulder pad. The brown utility belt at his waist has a sculpted medallion at the center, and those etched, almost vine-like patterns on the green leg armor give the whole figure tech feel worthy of a sniper.

MOTU Chronicles WWE World 2026 Booth 4

Fisto’s silver chest armor has a weathered, beaten-metal finish with riveted plates layered across the torso and banded steel wrapping around the midsection. His oversized metallic gauntlet is clenched into a fist, and those dark leather-toned boots with sculpted buckle straps have a rugged, mercenary look that fits the character well.

MOTU Chronicles WWE World 2026 Booth 7

From the back, 5 MOTU Chronicles reveals a silver upper back plate with sculpted riveted clasps at each shoulder, secured by brown leather-toned straps that connect the armor to the body. His dark navy tunic underneath has a woven herringbone texture running through the fabric, with heavy gunmetal belt clasps fastened across the spine in two horizontal rows.

MOTU Chronicles WWE World 2026 Booth 18

Man-At-Arms faces forward here, his olive-green chest armor featuring a tan central plate with sculpted circuitry and a round orange emblem at the sternum. He’s gripping the gold mace overhead, and those tan gauntlets with green segmented forearm guards have a nice tech-heavy look that carries through the whole design.

MOTU Chronicles WWE World 2026 Booth 9

The back of Man-At-Arms showcases his olive-green and tan armor plating, with segmented shoulder pieces featuring circular riveted joints and a detailed tech-panel backplate covered in fine sculpted circuitry lines. He’s holding a gold mace aloft, and the weapon’s orb-shaped head has a textured, almost organic knot pattern that gives it a weighty, relic-like feel.

MOTU Chronicles WWE World 2026 Booth 8

Evil-Lyn’s dark metallic armor has an intricate, organic sculpt across the chest and torso, with layered ridges and sweeping spine-like textures that flow from the pointed shoulder pieces down through the waist. Her tall spiked crown headpiece has a segmented, almost insectoid look to it, and that deep blue soft goods cape really does have a beautiful drape against the dark tones of her costume.

MOTU Chronicles WWE World 2026 Booth 15

Evil-Lyn’s soft goods blue cape has a rich satin-like finish and drapes with real weight from her shoulders, falling nearly to the ground behind her black armored bodysuit. The Havoc Staff she’s gripping features a coiled, vertebrae-like silver shaft topped with a translucent purple orb that has a deep, gem-like clarity to it.

MOTU Chronicles WWE World 2026 Booth 13

Teela is posed with her sword drawn, wearing a green and white outfit with a textured, scale-like pattern on the chest piece and olive-green accents running down the legs. Her reddish-brown hair is pulled up into a tight bun with loose strands falling to one side, and those deep red wrapped boots with green ankle trim are a nice touch against the lighter tones of the rest of her gear.

MOTU Chronicles WWE World 2026 Booth 14

Hot off the press, and straight from the WrestleMania 42 floor, we’re getting our first look at what’s coming next for the Mattel WWE Superstars line and there are some real surprises in the mix. Massive thanks to @majorwfpod for coming through with the pics from the event, because these reveals are exactly what collectors have been waiting to see. Now, Series 18 showing up was expected, and it’s looking great with Dusty Rhodes, Jesse “The Body” Ventura, The Undertaker, and missing is Mankind with Socko, which is a lineup that hits the sweet spot for fans of classic wrestling. We also got confirmation on John Cena and Koko B. Ware, which were the two figures we spotted through Walmart listings not long ago, so it’s nice to finally see them in person and know those early discoveries were right on the money. But the real story here is the wild cards, because alongside Cena and Koko B. Ware we’re now getting King Kong Bundy and Hillbilly Jim, two names that absolutely nobody had on their radar going into this weekend. King Kong Bundy in particular is a deep cut that I’m fired up about, because he’s one of those larger-than-life characters from the golden era who has been long overdue for this kind of treatment, and seeing him show up with no prior intel or leaked listings makes this reveal feel like a genuine surprise in an age where very little stays secret for long. Hillbilly Jim is another welcome addition that rounds out this wave with a real old-school flavor. We will actually be attending WrestleMania ourselves and plan to grab more pics once we’re on the ground, so stay tuned because there’s likely more to come from the show floor.

WWE Superstars Reveals

A packed display showcasing the WWE Superstars Wrestlemania 42 Reveals across what looks like Waves 17 through 19. The front row features Demolition Ax and Smash in their signature black spiked gear alongside Hacksaw Jim Duggan in his blue trunks and American flag bandana, and that head sculpt on Duggan is really solid. The middle row gives us a great look at Dusty Rhodes in his yellow polka dot attire, Jesse The Body Ventura in a blue tie-dye top with pink trunks, Hillbilly Jim in denim overalls, and King Kong Bundy in his black tee. Up top, The Undertaker stands in his classic long black coat and hat, while the newly revealed John Cena sports his blue jersey and Koko B. Ware comes with his parrot Frankie perched on his arm. Huge thanks to @majorwfpod on Instagram for the pics, and we’ll be attending Wrestlemania to grab even more shots when we arrive.

January 29, 2026 Update: Preorder Go Live January 30, 2026 on Target.com

Just a quick heads up as a follow-up to our earlier coverage, LJN Wave 2 preorders are officially going live on Target’s website on January 30, 2026, and this is one of those drops you are going to want to be ready for the moment it hits. I am seriously excited to see this next batch roll out because the lineup is pure classic WWF goodness, with Jesse The Body Ventura, King Kong Bundy, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and The Ultimate Warrior all confirmed for this wave. It feels great to see LJN leaning hard into heavy hitters and fan favorites as the line continues to build momentum, and if Wave 1 was any indication, these are not going to hang around long. If you missed out last time or want to keep your set complete, January 30th is the date to circle and set those reminders for.

This was announced by actionfigureattack and you can check out the videos below showing off King Kong Bundy and Jesse the Body Ventura!

Ultimate Warrior

Starting out with Ultimate Warrior above, a bright blue card and black card versions were revealed.

If you know about the vintage LJN toy line, the vintage version of Ultimate Warrior is really hard to find and in good condition, and fetches a pretty penny on the aftermarket!

It will be great to get a brand new pristine one! He really looks incredible and so nostalgic!

Jesse “The Body” Ventura

Next we have Jesse “The Body” Ventura on a bright blue cardback. Jesse “The Body” Ventura is dressed in a bright pink suit and is carrying a mic. I love how this is a new version of him, especially cause I have the vintage one,

King Kong Bundy

Next we have King Kong Bundy on bright blue cardback. King Kong Bundy is in his classic black wrestling outfit and resembles what his vintage LJN figure used to look like.

Finally we have Stone Cold Steve Austin, which was never made in the vintage LJN toy line, so this is totally a new figure for this line. He has his classic black vest and black shorts.

At the WWE Panel during San Diego Comic Con 2025, this image features digital renders of Wave 2 from the LJN Superstars Retro line. Stone Cold Steve Austin is shown in his black vest and trunks, arms raised in a signature pose that channels his no-nonsense attitude. The Ultimate Warrior stands next to him, sporting his classic neon armbands and tassels, with a wild expression and muscular stance that captures his iconic intensity. Jesse “The Body” Ventura is decked out in a flamboyant purple suit with white patterns, matching top hat, and tinted glasses, evoking his over-the-top commentator persona. Rounding out the lineup is King Kong Bundy, depicted with his massive build in a black singlet, crouched slightly forward in a menacing stance. Each figure retains the exaggerated proportions and glossy finish that pay homage to the original 1980s LJN style, offering collectors a nostalgic blast from wrestling’s golden era.

Wave 3 Preview

Following the exciting reveals of Waves 1 and 2, it looks like Wave 3 is already heating up. Jay Uso and CM Punk are expected to join the LJN Superstars Retro line next, and both are strong choices to bridge modern and classic eras of wrestling in this throwback format. While their figures have yet to be officially unveiled, early hints from the WWE panel suggest they’re locked in for the next wave. That still leaves two open spots in the lineup, and we can’t wait to see who rounds out Wave 3. Whether it’s another Attitude Era legend or a fan-favorite from today’s roster, anticipation is already building.

WrestleMania season always brings the heat, and with the 42nd annual WrestleMania set to take place as a two-night event on April 18 and 19, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, we fully expect Mattel to use that massive spotlight to pull back the curtain on some highly anticipated WWE Superstars figure reveals. If you’ve been following our coverage, you already know we’ve been piecing this puzzle together for a while now, starting when we first spotted Series 18 listings pop up on Walmart’s website featuring The Undertaker, Dusty Rhodes, Jesse “The Body” Ventura, and a new version of Mankind, and then more recently when we uncovered Walmart listings confirming Koko B. Ware and John Cena for Series 19. That’s a stacked roster of names across both waves, and I have to say, seeing legends like Dusty and Ventura getting the Superstars treatment alongside perennial favorites like The Undertaker and Cena has me genuinely fired up. Now here’s where the speculation kicks in, because while we know four of the Series 18 figures and at least two from Series 19, the remaining two slots in that next wave are still hiding behind code names on the listings, which means Mattel is keeping those cards close to the chest for now. WrestleMania has become a go-to moment for these kinds of reveals, and with the energy of a two-night event pulling from both the Raw and SmackDown brand divisions, the timing could not be better for Mattel to give collectors a proper showcase. The real question on my mind is who those two mystery figures in Series 19 turn out to be, and whether Mattel throws collectors a curveball with a deep cut nobody saw coming. We’ll be watching closely, so stay tuned.

WWE Superstars Series 18

As seen at SDCC 2025 as digital render reveals, Series 18 will feature The Undertaker, Dusty Rhodes, Jesse “The Body” Ventura, and a new version of Mankind with Mr. Socko!

Series 18 Official Images

Now we can finally get a clear look at the figures themselves, and they really lean into that retro-inspired style in a way that feels true to the Superstars line. This wave brings together Dusty Rhodes, Jesse “The Body” Ventura, Mankind, and The Undertaker, pulling from multiple eras of wrestling and giving collectors a lineup that hits a lot of nostalgic touchpoints. All four are currently showing a June 2026 ship date on wrestlingshop.com, but as most collectors already know, these rarely show up online through Walmart, so the barcodes listed are going to be key for tracking them down in stores. It is a strong mix of legends in a single wave, spanning from the son of a plumber to The Phenom, and it continues the trend of making this one of the most rewarding yet challenging lines to keep up with at retail.

Dusty Rhodes

The card art features a cartoon-style wrestling arena scene with exaggerated caricatures of various wrestlers, including a prominent illustration of Dusty Rhodes himself wearing a police-style hat and holding a nightstick. Dusty Rhodes is packed in a clear blister wearing his iconic black singlet with large yellow polka dots, matching yellow polka-dot knee pads, and white wrist tape.

Dusty Rhodes WWE Superstars Series #18 Action Figure 01

The back of the card features a black-and-white illustration of Dusty Rhodes wearing his polka-dot singlet, police-style cap, and holding a nightstick, accompanied by stylized text phrases paying homage to his signature catchphrases. Along the bottom, black-and-white photo portraits of Undertaker, Mankind, Jesse “The Body” Ventura, and Dusty Rhodes showcase the other figures available in the series.

Dusty Rhodes WWE Superstars Series #18 Action Figure 02

Dusty Rhodes is laid out here with his iconic black and yellow polka dot singlet, matching knee pads, and white boots with yellow detailing. He comes with a solid spread of swap-out hands, a dark blue driver’s cap, and a black nightstick, giving collectors plenty of display options for the “Common Man” look.

Dusty Rhodes WWE Superstars Series 18 Official 1

The head sculpt on Dusty Rhodes captures that confident smirk perfectly, with clean paint on the blonde hair peeking out from under his black and yellow headband. His white wrist bands and the pointing gesture add a lot of personality to the pose.

Dusty Rhodes WWE Superstars Series 18 Official 2

From the back, the yellow polka dots on the singlet are evenly spaced and cleanly printed across the black plastic, with the pattern continuing consistently down to the trunks. His white and yellow boots feature an ornate eagle design that’s a nice touch for a figure at this scale.

Dusty Rhodes WWE Superstars Series 18 Official 3

Outfitted with the dark blue driver’s cap and black nightstick, Dusty Rhodes looks right at home in his “Common Man” gear. I like the way the cap sits slightly tilted on his head, with the blonde hair sculpted to flow naturally underneath it.

Dusty Rhodes WWE Superstars Series 18 Official 4

Armed with the black nightstick, the figure is posed in a wide stance that shows off how well the knee pads sit without interfering with the leg articulation. The yellow polka dot pattern on the headband matches the singlet cleanly, and the skin tone paint across the arms and legs looks smooth and consistent.

Dusty Rhodes WWE Superstars Series 18 Official 5

A close-up reveals sharp paint apps on the face, with the open-mouth expression showing individually painted teeth and a subtle dimple in the chin. The blue eyes are neatly applied, and the fleshtone has a smooth matte finish across the cheeks and jawline.

Dusty Rhodes WWE Superstars Series 18 Official 6

Jesse The Body Ventura

The card artwork depicts Jesse “The Body” Ventura in a blue and white tie-dye shirt, blue bandana, and red sunglasses, posing with a raised fist against the same cartoon wrestling arena backdrop. Jesse is packed in a clear blister wearing a blue and white tie-dye tee, pink floral tights, white wrist tape, bright blue boots, and a blue bandana over his blond hair.

Jesse The Body Ventura WWE Superstars Series #18 Action Figure 01

The back of Jesse “The Body” Ventura’s card features a black-and-white illustration of him in his signature sunglasses and bandana with a raised fist, alongside the bold catchphrase “Win If You Can, Lose If You Must, But Always Cheat” rendered in stylized block lettering with a starburst sunglasses graphic. The same row of black-and-white portrait photos lines the bottom, showing the four figures in the series.

Jesse The Body Ventura WWE Superstars Series #18 Action Figure 02

Jesse “The Body” Ventura is shown here with his full accessory spread, wearing pink floral tights, a blue headband, and matching blue lace-up boots with white wrist tape. The accessories include a blue and white tie-dye soft goods t-shirt, red sunglasses, a pair of red boots, and six swappable hands ranging from fists to pointing and open-palm options.

Jesse the Body Ventura WWE Superstars Series 18 Official 1a

Sporting the soft goods tie-dye tee, the blue and white fabric has a nice mesh texture to it that sits naturally over the torso. His pink floral tights pair with the tall red lace-up boots, and the white floral print looks clean against the pink base.

Jesse the Body Ventura WWE Superstars Series 18 Official 2b

From the back, the soft goods tee shows clean seam work along the spine, and the blue headband’s trailing tails are sculpted in a lightweight plastic that gives them a nice sense of movement. I like how they handled the blonde hair, which peeks out from under the headband with a textured, shaggy sculpt.

Jesse the Body Ventura WWE Superstars Series 18 Official 3c

The head sculpt on Jesse “The Body” Ventura looks sharp up close, with a neatly painted dark brown mustache and a focused, almost scowling expression. His white wrist tape wraps are small but tidy, and the pointing hands are a great fit for his signature taunting personality.

Jesse the Body Ventura WWE Superstars Series 18 Official 4d

The pink floral tights really pop here, with the white hibiscus print wrapping cleanly around the legs. His blue boots have sculpted lace detail running up the front, and the color match between them and the headband is consistent.

Jesse the Body Ventura WWE Superstars Series 18 Official 5e

The card artwork showcases a cartoon Mankind in his white shirt and tie alongside his Mr. Socko puppet, set against the recurring wrestling arena backdrop populated with various caricatured wrestlers. Mankind is packed in a clear blister wearing a white dress shirt with a black tie, his signature brown leather mask with studs, long brown hair, brown boots, and white wrist tape.

Mankind WWE Superstars Series #18 Action Figure 01

The back of Mankind’s card features a black-and-white illustration of him in his disheveled dress shirt and tie with Mr. Socko raised on one fist, accompanied by his classic catchphrases “Have A Nice Day!” and “Mrs. Foley’s Baby Boy” in bold comic-style lettering alongside a screaming Mr. Socko graphic. The same series lineup of portrait photos runs along the bottom of the card.

Mankind WWE Superstars Series #18 Action Figure 02

Mankind is outfitted with a soft goods white shirt and black tie, both with a nice tattered texture at the edges that nails his classic look. He comes with a solid set of swap-out hands, a brown leather mask, and Mr. Socko, giving collectors plenty of display options.

Mankind WWE Superstars Series 18 Official 1

The white sock puppet Mr. Socko has a printed face with a simple, goofy expression that’s pretty faithful to the original. Mankind’s brown curly hair has a good amount of sculpted detail, with individual ringlets draping down past his shoulders.

Mankind WWE Superstars Series 18 Official 2

From the back, the soft goods shirt hangs naturally over the figure’s frame, with the ragged hem sitting right at the waist. His black boots have a glossy finish and the lacing detail on the back of the mask is a nice touch.

Mankind WWE Superstars Series 18 Official 3

Sporting his brown leather mask with the studded detailing across the forehead, Mankind’s open-mouth expression underneath captures that unhinged energy the character was known for. The white wrist tape on both arms is a clean, small detail that rounds out the look.

Mankind WWE Superstars Series 18 Official 4

Dressed in the torn white shirt and tie combo, the soft goods fabric has a real weight to it and drapes convincingly over the torso. I like how the fists are sculpted with just enough tension in the fingers to look natural.

Mankind WWE Superstars Series 18 Official 5

The card artwork features a hooded, menacing cartoon Undertaker with long flowing black hair and a dark robe, looming behind the blister. Undertaker is packed wearing an all-black sleeveless top with a metallic cross emblem on the chest, black pants, black boots, tattooed arms, black gloves, and a goatee, with a fabric entrance robe included behind the figure in the packaging.

Undertaker WWE Superstars Series #18 Action Figure 01

The back of Undertaker’s card features a black-and-white illustration of him in his Ministry-era hooded robe with one hand extended in a commanding gesture, flanked by gothic-style text reading “Lord of Darkness,” “The Ministry,” and “Rest in Peace” with a cross symbol beneath. The same series lineup of portrait photos runs along the bottom of the card.

Undertaker WWE Superstars Series #18 Action Figure 02

Undertaker is shown here in his Ministry era attire, clad in an all-black singlet with a grey cross emblem on the chest and matching boot detailing. He comes with a full-length soft goods hooded robe, two pairs of swap-out hands including fists and open grip options, and tattoo deco running across his arms and chest that looks like it has some nice detail work.

Undertaker WWE Superstars Series 18 Official 1

The soft goods robe has real weight and drape to it, with the hood pulled up framing his face nicely. I like the way the fingerless gloves and the white pupil paint on the eyes sell that Ministry-era look.

Undertaker WWE Superstars Series 18 Official 2

From the back, the robe’s full length is on display, and the woven fabric has a textured, linen-like quality that holds its shape well through the sleeves and hood. The wide bell sleeves allow the sculpted hands to peek out cleanly at the cuffs without bunching.

Undertaker WWE Superstars Series 18 Official 3

The head sculpt on Undertaker looks sharp, with the slicked-back black hair falling past his shoulders and a pointed goatee that’s cleanly sculpted. The tattoo printing across both upper arms and forearms has a fine, almost etched quality to it, with skull and script motifs that read well even at this scale.

Undertaker WWE Superstars Series 18 Official 4

Series 19

This also points to a strong possibility that Koko B. Ware and John Cena could be part of the Series 19 assortment, which is a pairing that really bridges different eras of WWE in a fun way. Koko’s colorful ring gear feels like a natural fit for the retro Superstars aesthetic, while Cena brings that broad appeal that connects longtime collectors with newer fans. It also opens the door to the bigger question of who else might round out the wave, and that is where the speculation really starts to heat up. For now, this kind of retail discovery adds another layer of excitement and suggests that the WWE Superstars line is continuing to build momentum with plenty more on the horizon.

Koko B Ware

While we have no details on the actual figure, we do have the name populated as the listing was referenced simply as WWW SUPERSTARS FIG 14. We hope that the figure will also come with his bird Frankie but we will have to wait and see!

Koko-B-Ware-WWE-Superstars-Walmart-Listing

Koko B. Ware more than earned his place in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009. “The Birdman” brought nonstop energy from the moment he debuted in WWE in 1986, instantly connecting with fans thanks to his colorful ring gear and Frankie the macaw at his side. I watched him as a kid during the WWF gimmick era days, and he was not only a great wrestler but one of my personal favorites. Before WWE, he built his reputation across Memphis, Dallas, Louisiana, and Florida, and he scored a memorable win over Nikolai Volkoff on Saturday Night’s Main Event in 1986. He later teamed with Owen Hart as High Energy in 1992 and even lent his voice to the Piledriver album in 1987. Koko may not have held championship gold, but his charisma, talent, and connection with fans made him unforgettable.

John Cena Masters of the WWE Universe Figure

This is the first time John Cena will be making an appearance in the WWE Superstars line but he has appeared a couple times in the Masters of the WWE Universe line. The orange chest harness frames the “Never Give Up Cenation” graphic in the center, complete with the dumbbell artwork and bold lettering. His head sculpt features a close cropped haircut with a confident smirk, and the defined torso keeps that heroic MOTU aesthetic that I always associate with this line. The dark blue shorts are finished with a black belt and silver buckle, paired with black shoes that ground the look in Cena’s ring gear. The hands are posed in his signature pointing gesture, and honestly, I could easily see a similar style figure translating over to the WWE Superstars line with a simplified sculpt and that retro cardback treatment.

John Cena Masters of the WWE Universe 1

The bright orange harness crosses over his shoulders and locks into a square plate at the center of his upper back, with sculpted studs and strap details running down toward his waist. It wraps tightly around his torso above the dark blue shorts that fall just past the knees, and the orange wrist cuffs and matching armband really jump against the skin tone. You can clearly see the articulation at the shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees, all worked into that classic Masters of the Universe build. Off to the side, he includes a translucent light blue round shield and a matching double headed battle axe, both cast in that icy plastic that leans fully into the Eternian mashup.

John Cena Masters of the WWE Universe 2

John Cena

John Cena is a 17-time World Champion, New York Times best-selling author, record-setting Make-A-Wish granter, music artist, and Hollywood star who carried WWE for nearly two decades. From his debut against Kurt Angle and the rise of the Doctor of Thuganomics to winning his first WWE Championship at WrestleMania 21, Cena built a legacy on “Hustle, Loyalty, Respect,” defeating names like The Rock, Randy Orton, Batista, Brock Lesnar, Triple H, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and more. I first got reintroduced to John in 2014 when I started watching wrestling again with my son, and it was special experiencing that run together. I even had the privilege of meeting him in person in 2015 when I worked at Twitter, which made it all the more meaningful. After shocking fans with his 2025 alignment with The Rock and capturing his 17th World Title at WrestleMania 41, Cena ultimately corrected course, became a Grand Slam Champion, and retired at the end of 2025, closing out one of the most remarkable careers in WWE history.

We’ve been keeping an eye on this one and it’s finally coming together in a big way, because official product images for WWE Superstars Series 18 have surfaced over at wrestlingshop.com, giving us our best look yet at what’s shaping up to be one of the strongest waves in the entire line. We first caught wind of this series when we saw the panel reveals at SDCC 2025 panel reveals, then the lineup got confirmed when we saw listings appeared on Walmart without any images attached, but now we can finally feast our eyes on the actual figures in all their retro-inspired glory. The lineup features Dusty Rhodes, Jesse “The Body” Ventura, Mankind, and The Undertaker, which is a roster that spans multiple eras of wrestling history and hits the sweet spot for collectors who grew up watching these legends define the business. All four figures are showing a June 2026 ship date on wrestlingshop.com but we all know that these figures never show up for order on Walmart so you can use the barcodes in the listings to track them down in the store. I love how this series pulls together such a diverse group of legends under one wave, going from the son of a plumber to The Phenom, and I can’t wait to see how these look in hand once collectors start getting them. This is going to be a must-have wave for anyone invested in the Superstars line, which unfortunately is the hardest line to collect!

Sometimes the hunt for upcoming figures starts with an official reveal, and other times it begins with a quiet retail listing that suddenly connects the dots on something we had previously seen, and that is exactly what just happened with the WWE Superstars line. We’ve discovered Walmart listings for WWE Superstars Series 18, and it immediately brought me back to San Diego Comic Con 2025 where Mattel actually showed digital renders of these very figures during their presentation. Seeing those early renders was exciting at the time, but now that the Walmart listings have surfaced, it feels like we are starting to see the next step toward this wave becoming a reality. We also know that this is one of the toughest lines to collect due to distribution and them being Walmart exclusives. WWE Superstars Series 18 will feature a stacked lineup including The Undertaker, Dusty Rhodes, Jesse “The Body” Ventura, and a new version of Mankind. I have to say, this is the kind of lineup that really captures the spirit of the Superstars line, pulling together legendary names that translate perfectly into that retro-inspired format. Undertaker and Mankind landing in the same wave instantly brings back memories of their unforgettable rivalry, while Dusty Rhodes brings his larger-than-life presence that fits beautifully into this throwback aesthetic. Jesse “The Body” Ventura is another really fun addition because he represents such an important personality from the WWE’s earlier era, blending his in-ring legacy with the commentary presence that many fans still associate with him. Discoveries like this are always fun because they help fill in the gaps between convention teases and actual retail movement.

Series 18 will feature The Undertaker, Dusty Rhodes, Jesse “The Body” Ventura, and a new version of Mankind.

The Undertaker

This digital render of The Undertaker from WWE Superstars Series 18 showcases a version of the Deadman inspired by his Ministry of Darkness era from the late 1990s. Dressed in a black sleeveless top emblazoned with the signature occult symbol and detailed with silver accents, the figure captures his sinister transformation during one of his most menacing runs. The long black hair, pointed beard, and visible tattoo work on his arms further ground the design in this specific phase of his career, making it a chilling addition to the retro-themed Superstars line.

Jesse The Body Ventura

This digital render of Jesse “The Body” Ventura from WWE Superstars Series 18 channels his flamboyant mid-1980s commentator and wrestling persona. The figure sports pink and white floral-patterned pants, a nod to his colorful wardrobe from his on-air days. He’s outfitted with bright blue boots, matching wristbands, red sunglasses, and a blue bandana tied around his head, capturing his signature beachy bravado. The blond hair and sculpted mustache complete the over-the-top Ventura vibe that made him a fixture both in the ring and behind the mic.

Dusty Rhodes

This digital render of Dusty Rhodes from WWE Superstars Series 18 captures the “American Dream” in his iconic polka-dot attire. Decked out in a black singlet adorned with oversized yellow dots, the figure embodies his memorable WWF run in the late ’80s. His matching black-and-yellow headband, wrist tape, and polka-dotted knee pads round out the look, while white boots featuring yellow eagle designs give the figure an added vintage flair. The cheerful expression and curly blonde hair perfectly reflect Dusty’s charismatic personality and blue-collar hero appeal.

Mankind v2

This second version of Mankind in WWE Superstars Series 18 presents the deranged-yet-lovable persona in his classic torn white dress shirt and black tie look, capturing the late ‘90s era when Mankind fully embraced his comedic yet unpredictable character. The figure features his signature leather mask, long brown hair, and a wide, manic grin that fans will instantly recognize. Also included is the beloved Mr. Socko accessory—a white sock puppet with a cartoonish face that Mankind famously pulled from his tights to deliver the Mandible Claw. Originally introduced during a hospital skit with Vince McMahon in 1998, Socko quickly became a fan-favorite gimmick that turned a hardcore legend into an unlikely comedic hero. The additional smiling head sculpt rounds out this fun and nostalgic release.

I have to tell you, this is one of those late night, scrolling through retail listings moments that reminds me why I love doing this, because we just spotted something on the Walmart website that has me genuinely fired up. Those once generic placeholders have finally been updated and now we are seeing names attached, and not just any names, but Koko B. Ware and John Cena are showing up as part of the WWE Superstars line. Now, before anyone runs with this as an official announcement, let me be clear, this has not been formally revealed by Mattel, but when retail listings start updating like this, my collector senses start tingling in the best way. For those of us who have been riding with this retro inspired line since the beginning, it is exciting to see signs that it is continuing to move forward. Based on what we already know, Series 18 is set to include Undertaker, Dusty Rhodes, Jesse “The Body” Ventura, and a new version of Mankind, all confirmed during their San Diego Comic Con reveal, which means it is very likely that Koko B. Ware and John Cena could be part of the Series 19 assortment. I cannot help but smile thinking about Koko’s vibrant ring gear translated into that classic Superstars style, and of course, Cena brings that crossover appeal that keeps this line feeling both nostalgic and current at the same time. The big question now is who else rounds out the wave alongside them, and that is part of the fun, because the speculation game is officially on. For now, this is a cool retail discovery that has me feeling confident that WWE Superstars still has plenty of gas left in the tank.

I swear the Demolition theme starts looping in my head the second I lay eyes on WWE Superstars Series 17, and honestly, I am not mad about it one bit, because this wave feels like a love letter to everything I adored about WWF tag team wrestling back in the day. Before diving into the figures themselves, I have to send a massive shout out to Mr. Home Arcade for coming through for the toy community yet again and going above and beyond by snagging these early and sharing them with the rest of us, because anyone who has tried hunting these down at retail already knows just how near impossible they have been to find in the wild. Series 17 is anchored by my all time favorite tag team, Demolition, a duo that defined dominance, attitude, and presence in that late 80s era, and pairing them with Hacksaw Jim Duggan feels incredibly intentional and well thought out. Duggan’s inclusion, complete with gear painted with the American flag, directly calls back to his SummerSlam 1989 appearance when he teamed with Demolition, and that kind of historical nod is exactly what makes this line so much fun to collect. Across the entire WWE Superstars lineup so far, this wave stands out to me as the most purposeful and cohesive selection of characters, where every figure feels like it belongs and contributes to a specific moment in wrestling history rather than just filling a slot. Between the nostalgia, the character choices, and the clear respect for the source material, Series 17 hits all the right notes for longtime fans like me, so let’s dive in and start breaking down the figure details.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan

I’m loving how the figure jumps out here with that expressive head sculpt, showing off the big open-mouth yell that feels so true to the character, and the wavy hair and full beard add a lot of personality up close. The bright blue trunks, matching knee pads, and tall laced boots keep the classic color combo tight, and I can see the crisp sculpt lines across the torso that really bring out the detail. The illustrated backdrop highlights the swinging 2×4 and the alternate head callout, making this Hacksaw Jim Duggan release feel packed with fun touches right on the card.

Hacksaw-Jim-Duggan-WWE-Superstars-Series-17-Card-Front-MHA-3

The card back is built around bold black-and-white illustrated artwork of Hacksaw Jim Duggan posed with the 2×4 raised overhead, rendered with clean line work that feels straight out of a vintage program. The phrases are loud and unapologetic, with “U-S-A! U-S-A!”, “Tough Guy!”, and the stretched-out “Hoooooo!” stacked across the layout in oversized, comic-style lettering. I love how the mix of stars, flags, and punchy text turns the entire back into a chant you can practically hear just by looking at it.The card back is built around bold black-and-white illustrated artwork of Hacksaw Jim Duggan posed with the 2×4 raised overhead, rendered with clean line work that feels straight out of a vintage program. Hacksaw Jim Duggan is shown with the 2×4 resting on his shoulder, long brown hair and beard framing the open-mouthed yell that defines his classic look. He’s wearing the blue trunks with matching knee pads and lace-up boots, keeping the presentation clean and instantly recognizable. I really like how Mr. Home Arcade set this pose up, because it feels like that familiar entrance moment where he’s soaking in the crowd reaction.

Hacksaw-Jim-Duggan-WWE-Superstars-Series-17-MHA-1

This image highlights the look Duggan wore when he teamed up with Demolition at SummerSlam 1989. The red, white, and blue paint covers the face in bold stripes, paired with the same blue ring gear and boots to keep the look consistent. Seeing this version immediately takes me back to that specific moment, and it’s great to have that era represented right alongside his more traditional appearance.

Hacksaw-Jim-Duggan-WWE-Superstars-Series-17-MHA-3

The shot with the 2×4 stretched outward puts all the attention on the accessory itself, with the plank extending past his reach and becoming the focal point of the pose. The length and straight sculpt of the 2×4 read clearly, and the way it’s held makes it feel like it’s being presented as much as wielded.

Hacksaw-Jim-Duggan-WWE-Superstars-Series-17-MHA-2

Demolition

Three figures lock fists in the center, recreating Demolition’s signature stance with Ax and Smash flanking Crush. I am immediately drawn to the bold face paint, with Ax’s metallic silver and red pattern, Smash’s red, black, and white design with the extended tongue expression, and Crush’s white base accented by red and black streaks that flow across the face. The matching black ring gear ties them together, from the sleeveless tops to the textured wrist guards, knee pads, and tall boots, while the sculpted poses keep their arms pulled inward as if they are powering up for impact. The trio reads as a unified team , hands clenched together and bodies angled forward, capturing that unmistakable Demolition presence I grew up loving.

Demolition-Ax-Smash-Crush-WWE-Superstars-Series-17-MHA-2

The figures are shown masked, each wearing the studded black helmet with eye cutouts and the same spiked texture running across the top, which completely changes the look from the face paint versions. I really like how you can still tell who is who thanks to the telltale face paint details visible around the eyes beneath the masks, a smart touch that keeps each identity clear. The black chest harness with silver studs sits over the torso and pairs with the sleeveless soft goods vests, spiked wrist guards, studded trunks, and matching boots, keeping the trio visually unified as they step forward together with clenched hands. The one thing I personally wish they added was a studded pattern on the soft goods vests, since that extra texture would better recreate their classic entrance look.

Demolition-Ax-Smash-Crush-WWE-Superstars-Series-17-MHA-3

Ax

The card front leans fully into the retro WWE Superstars style, with bold illustrated artwork filling the backing card and a high-energy, comic-inspired look that immediately pulls your eye in. I really like how the illustration is layered behind the bubble, giving the presentation depth while keeping everything clean and readable. The figure is packed upright in a standard blister bubble, centered on the card with the entrance gear visible alongside inside the bubble, making the whole setup feel very much like a classic peg-ready presentation from the line.

Demolition-Ax-WWE-Superstars-Series-17-Card-Front-MHA-3

The card back features bold black-and-white illustrated art of Ax with his arms crossed, rendered in a rough, high-contrast style that matches the attitude of the team. I immediately latch onto the stacked phrases blasting across the layout, reading “Here Comes the Ax!”, “Pain & Destruction Is Our Middle Name!”, and “There’s No Place to Hide!”, all done in jagged lettering that feels loud and aggressive. The mix of character art and oversized text sells that classic Demolition bravado, and I can almost hear the promo echoing off the card as I’m reading it.

Demolition-Ax-WWE-Superstars-Series-17-Card-Back-MHA-3

The figure shows Ax with the red and silver face paint split cleanly down the face, mouth open in a yell, and short dark hair sculpted tight to the head. He is wearing the black soft goods entrance vest over the studded chest harness, with spiked wrist guards, rivet-detailed trunks, knee pads, and tall boots all working together for that unmistakable Demolition look. I really like how Mr. Home Arcade posed him with the fists pulled in tight, it feels like he is right at that moment before the bell rings.

Demolition-Ax-WWE-Superstars-Series-17-MHA-3

Smash

The card front is driven by bold illustrated character art that fills the backing card, with the artwork framed to sit behind the blister and remain visible along the edges, giving the presentation a layered, comic-style feel. The illustration carries a lot of energy through expressive line work and strong contrast, helping the card feel visually active even before you notice the figure. Everything is packed upright in a clear blister bubble centered on the card, creating a straightforward, peg-ready layout that keeps the focus on the artwork and overall presentation.

Demolition-Smash-WWE-Superstars-Series-17-Card-Front-MHA-3

The card back is laid out with stark black-and-white illustrated artwork of Smash standing front and center, rendered with thick lines and heavy contrast that fits the Demolition aesthetic perfectly. Surrounding the art are bold, jagged phrases that jump off the card, including “Here Comes the Smasher!”, “Search & Destroy You!”, and “The Demos Will Get You!”, all styled to feel loud and confrontational. I like how the cracked text effects and graphic targets reinforce that chaotic, no-escape tone, making the entire back read like a warning poster rather than standard packaging copy.

Demolition-Smash-WWE-Superstars-Series-17-Card-Back-MHA-3

The figure shows Smash with the white, red, and black face paint framed by long brown hair, mouth open with the tongue extended, and a stern forward-facing expression. He is wearing the black soft goods entrance vest over the studded chest harness, with spiked wrist guards, rivet-detailed trunks, knee pads, and tall boots completing the gear. I’m really digging how Mr. Home Arcade staged this one, with the forward-pointing hand and staggered stance giving the pose a lot of attitude.

Crush

The card front features bold illustrated artwork set against the classic WWE Superstars card design, with the logo prominently placed at the top and stylized character art filling the background behind the bubble. I like how the illustration peeks out around the edges of the blister, giving the card a layered, comic-inspired look that feels straight out of the late ’80s. The figure is packed upright in a clear blister bubble centered on the card, creating a clean, straightforward presentation that lets the artwork and overall packaging design do the heavy lifting.

Demolition-Crush-WWE-Superstars-Series-17-Card-Front-MHA-3

The card back is packed with bold black-and-white artwork and loud, stacked phrases that lean hard into Demolition’s intimidating tone. A full illustrated figure anchors the layout, surrounded by punchy callouts reading “The Demolition Walking Disaster!”, “Run… We’ll Find You!”, and “Pain & Destruction Is Our Middle Name!”, with jagged lettering and graphic icons that feel ripped straight from an old-school promo wall. I love how the layout balances the character art with oversized text, making the whole back of the card feel aggressive, chaotic, and very on-brand for the team.

Demolition-Crush-WWE-Superstars-Series-17-Card-Back-MHA-3

The figure shows Crush with the bold red and black face paint split across the face, tongue extended, and long brown hair flowing back from the sculpted head. He is wearing the black soft goods entrance vest over the studded chest harness, with spiked wrist guards, rivet-detailed trunks, knee pads, and tall boots all matching the classic Demolition look. I really like how Mr. Home Arcade posed him with the arms flexed outward, it captures that aggressive stance without overdoing it.

Revealed during the excitement of San Diego Comic Con 2025, WWE Superstars Series 17 has finally surfaced in glorious carded form, and I’ve got to say, seeing Ax, Smash, and Crush of Demolition lined up with Hacksaw Jim Duggan has me so excited. As someone who’s been tracking every breadcrumb of this wave from the moment I saw this wave in person, it feels unreal to finally see the full assortment displayed on their retro-inspired cards, and I’m practically counting the minutes until I can crack these open and check out the sculpt details in-hand. Bringing all of that coverage full circle with these official carded images feels like the payoff I’ve been waiting for, and it just adds to the thrill of this being my favorite wave of the entire line so far. As a bonus, there is an official image of all 4 of them lined up! We also disocovered the Walmart listings to help you find them at the Walmart stores when they finally hit. From information we’ve seen on the web, we should see these figures around March 2026.

The figure comes decked out in bright blue trunks, matching blue laced boots, and blue kneepads, and I love how the expression on his main head sculpt really brings some heat with that wide-open yell. Looking closer, the set gives you a full lineup of swappable hands plus a fun alternate head with the USA face paint that pays homage to his Summer Slam 1989 appearance with Ax and Smash of Demolition. The 2×4 completes his classic look and you can almost hear him say “Hoooooooooooooooooo!!!!”

Hacksaw Jim Duggan-WWE-Superstars-17-JHX62 Official 1

The figure is shown hitting that classic thumbs up pose while gripping the yellow two by four, mouth open as if he is firing up the crowd, with the blue trunks, knee pads, and lace up boots locking in that familiar Superstars look, and I can almost hear the “Hooo” coming through. From the back, I really like how the pose shifts to one arm raised high, and you can spot the American flag face paint peeking out along the side of his face beneath the long brown hair.

The figure is captured in that unmistakable salute, hand pressed to the brow while the mouth is sculpted wide open as if he is calling out to the crowd, with the yellow two by four braced along the shoulder and gripped tightly in the opposite hand. I love how the head sculpt sells the intensity, from the sharp eyes to the thick beard and flowing hair framing the face, and the blue trunks keep the look clean and classic.

Demolition Axe

I’m getting a kick out of how the figure shows off that sharp silver-and-red face paint pattern, with the open-mouth expression bringing some great attitude to the sculpt. The black studded vest sits cleanly over the chest straps, and looking closer, I can see the little silver rivets and buckles that give his entrance gear that classic Demolition look. The black trunks, wristbands, and knee pads keep everything tight and uniform, and the illustrated backdrop mirrors the figure’s bold design.

The figure comes in with that bold red and white face paint that jumps right out at me, paired with black gear that’s packed with silver stud details running across the harness, trunks, kneepads, and boots. I’m really liking how the set lays out all the swappable hands along with the black vest and the hooded mask featuring bright red eyes, giving the figure a completely different look when suited up. Seeing everything together really shows how you can switch between the iconic painted look and the masked entrance style in a way that feels true to the character.

Demolition-Ax-WWE-Superstars-17-JHX59 Official 1

The figure is posed mid shout with the silver and red face paint sharply applied, mouth wide open, and one arm cocked back in a clenched fist while the other points straight ahead like he is calling someone out. I really like how the black studded singlet wraps across the torso and snaps cleanly into the trunks, paired with black wristbands, knee pads, and tall boots that keep the look tight and aggressive. Seeing the pointing pose up close sells the attitude for me, with the head sculpt, paint lines, and hand gesture doing all the heavy lifting in capturing that classic Smash energy.

The figure is shown stepping forward in a black sleeveless jacket that flares out at the shoulders, with the studded harness visible across the chest and a black mask pulled tight over the head, broken up by red eye paint peeking through. I really like how the jacket adds movement as the arms hang slightly out, while the black trunks, knee pads, and studded boots keep everything grounded in that classic Demolition look. From the back, the jacket drapes cleanly over the shoulders and stops short of the waist, letting the boots, wristbands, and overall stance sell that slow, deliberate walk to the ring.

Demolition Smash

I’m loving how the figure pops here, showing off that bold red and white face paint with the tongue sculpt that jumps right at me, while the black studded entrance vest frames all the sharp details in his chest straps and wristbands. The black trunks and boots come through clean, and looking closer, I can see how the silver studs around the knee pads and boot straps add just the right amount of texture to the look. The illustrated backdrop mirrors the figure’s wild expression, and seeing the entrance gear packed in really brings the whole Demolition Smash presentation together.

The figure swings in with a wilder, more chaotic face paint pattern that instantly gives it a different energy, and I’m loving how the dripping red and sharp black accents frame the open-mouth expression. The studded black gear matches the overall look, but the longer hair sculpt really pops here and brings a totally different silhouette compared to Ax. The laid-out accessories give you plenty of displayability options, especially with the variety of hands sculpts that let you dial in some attitude.

Demolition-Smash-WWE-Superstars-17-JHX59 Official 1

The figure is shown crossing his arms in a confrontational stance, with the red, white, and black face paint sharply applied and the tongue out expression locking in that over the top Smash attitude. The black studded harness is clearly visible against the bare chest, paired with black trunks, wristbands, knee pads, and tall studded boots that stay consistent with the Demolition look. From the back, I like how the sleeveless jacket sits high on the shoulders, the long brown hair flows down to the upper back, and the stance feels planted, like he just turned around after making his point and is ready for the next move.

The figure is captured in a straight ahead pointing pose, finger extended outward while the mouth is wide open with the tongue out, giving it that loud, confrontational Smash energy I always associate with Demolition. The red, white, and black face paint is sharply defined, with clean lines around the eyes and mouth, and the long brown hair frames the head just enough to keep the focus on the expression.

Demolition Crush

I’m really into how the figure shows off that bold half-red, half-black face paint with the white accents framing the eyes, and the open-mouth sculpt gives me that energetic Demolition vibe right away. The black studded vest hangs over the crisscross chest straps, and looking closer, the tiny silver rivets and buckles add great texture across the entrance gear. The black trunks, wristbands, and knee pads keep everything unified with the rest of the team, and the illustrated backdrop echoes the same sharp paint pattern, tying this Demolition Crush release perfectly into the trio.

Demolition-Crush-WWE-Superstars-17-JHX61 Card Front

The figure shows off a sharper, more segmented face paint design that splits the red and black cleanly down the middle, and I’m noticing how that crisp layout really makes the silver accents around the eyes pop. The longer hair sculpt sits a bit flatter here, giving the head a different profile compared to Smash.

Demolition-Crush-WWE-Superstars-17-JHX61 Official 1

The figure is shown with arms crossed in a defiant stance, tongue out beneath the red, black, and white face paint that runs vertically down the face, instantly locking in that unmistakable Crush attitude. The black studded harness is pulled tight across the chest and feeds into the studded trunks, with black wristbands, knee pads, and tall studded boots keeping the look cohesive and aggressive. From the back, I like how the sleeveless jacket flares at the shoulders, the long brown hair drops to the upper back, and the grip on the black helmet accessory makes it feel like he just paused mid stride before turning back around.

The figure is captured in a tight close up with the tongue out and eyes wide, showing off the red and black split face paint with sharp white accents that run cleanly across the face. I really like how the long brown hair frames the head and falls back naturally, while the black studded harness cuts across the torso and connects into the trunks just below the frame. The pose feels loud and confrontational, with the head slightly turned and the expression doing all the work in selling that classic Crush attitude.

The back of the packaging for the Rob Van Dam WWE Superstars Series 16 figure features a stylized black-and-white illustration of RVD in his signature pose, thumbs pointing at himself, wearing a singlet with a skull design. Above him, bold text reads “THE WHOLE DAM SHOW” with a yin-yang symbol above it. Below that is a banner reading “MR. MONDAY NIGHT” followed by stylized block letters spelling out “ROB! VAN! Following up on the buzz from WrestleMania 41 where WWE Superstars Series 16 was first shown off as prototypes, collectors finally got a full-color look at Rob Van Dam, The Hurricane, and the legendary Steiner Brothers, Rick and Scott, at the Mattel booth during San Diego Comic Con 2025. It was incredible seeing these figures displayed in all their painted glory, really bringing the larger-than-life personalities of this wave to the retro-styled WWE Superstars line. We also discovered their official images back in late July. Now, the excitement is building once again as Series 16 has started popping up on eBay, which usually signals that they are about a few months from hitting Walmart shelves. While nothing is ever guaranteed with distribution timing, the pattern we’ve seen with past waves suggests that fans should be on the lookout in stores over the coming months. With a lineup this stacked featuring a hardcore icon in RVD, a beloved superhero in The Hurricane, and one of the most dominant tag teams of the ‘90s in the Steiner Brothers, I personally can’t wait to see these finally land at retail.

WWE Superstars Series 16

It’s really nice to see these figures in hand as all of the finished details come through clearly, from the Steiner Brothers’ colorful singlets to the sculpted physiques, facial expressions, and the included WWE Tag Team Championship belts.
