Being this new 6.5″ scale, you will notice these figures have all new articulation, never before seen in a Masters of the Universe figure! There are butterfly joints in the chest and double jointed elbows and knees that all allow you to get He-Man into great poses! He can easily reach his sheath on his back!

The weathered dark brown chest armor with its red cross emblem sits firmly against his torso, and the loincloth panels shift naturally with the pose. You can see how this new articulation allows you to get He-Man in some cool poses!

It’s nice to see the dark brown wrist guard on the forearm contrasting against the silver crossguard of the sword at this close range.

King Grayskull is the first figure in the new Chronicles line and will be available on Mattel Creations. In the lore, he is the ancestor of Prince Adam and a key defender of Eternia who resided in Castle Grayskull. The figure draws heavily from his debut in the 2002 Masters of the Universe animated series, which first introduced his backstory.

The figure’s look is inspired by the 2002 version, especially seen in the emblem on his harness and shield. Those elements are expanded with added detail across the armor, weapons, and accessories. The axe and shield feature ornate sculpting, while the harness, shoulder armor, and layered pieces add a more intricate, grounded appearance.

The line introduces a new scale that sits between larger figures like Masterverse and smaller Origins figures, allowing it to fit well with other 1:12 scale lines. Articulation has also been reworked, with updated joint construction at the elbows and knees to provide smoother movement and a wider range of motion.

Armed with his sword and shield, King Grayskull’s soft goods cape catches real movement here, with the tattered crimson fabric flaring out behind him. The interior of the shield shows a molded grip and handle system that his fist wraps around cleanly.

Armed with the double-headed axe and shield, King Grayskull’s knotwork-etched blades have a matte gunmetal finish that contrasts well against the metallic sheen of the shield’s gold vine detailing. The figures are based on the on-screen likenesses of Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man, Camila Mendes as Teela, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, and Jared Leto as Skeletor and others, giving us our clearest sense yet of how Eternia is shaping up in plastic form. As someone who obsesses over how movie designs translate into action figures, this is the kind of reveal that gets my brain racing, because these aren’t just vague interpretations or placeholder sculpts, they are clearly aiming to reflect the actors, costumes, and overall tone of the film in a way that feels intentional and deliberate. Seeing He-Man represented with Galitzine’s likeness immediately anchors this as a very specific take on the character, while Teela and Evil-Lyn follow suit with designs that feel modern yet rooted in familiar territory for longtime fans. Spielwarenmesse 2026 is already shaping up to be one of those shows we are going to be talking about all year, and right out of the gate things are getting exciting as early images of the Man-At-Arms and Evil-Lyn Masters of the Universe movie figures have started making the rounds on social media, giving fans their first real look at what is being shown publicly on the show floor, and honestly, I did not expect to be this energized this early in the event. Officially dubbed, MOTU Chronicles, this lines up with early news we’ve reported about the line. Interestingly, these new figures are said to be a closest to a 6” figure scale more akin to Marvel Legends or GI Joe Classifed figures and will not be the scale of 7” Masterverse figures. What really pushed this over the top for me is that the one and only Ramen Toy also reached out and shared crisp, high-resolution images of two of the figures currently on display, which is huge because it allows collectors to really study the details without relying on blurry show-floor photos or quick phone snaps. Seeing these images land now feels perfectly timed, coming hot off the heels of the Masters of the Universe teaser and trailer drop, which has clearly reignited interest in the movie designs and has everyone reexamining how these characters are being interpreted in figure form. There is something especially fun about watching this all unfold in real time, with social media buzzing, early looks popping up unexpectedly, and trusted names helping fill in the gaps with clearer visuals. Seeing these three grouped together gives me a solid sense of the early roster being built out for the MOTU Chronicles movie line.

Man-At-Arms is shown in a movie-inspired look clearly modeled after actor Idris Elba, wearing green body armor with layered tan plating, a blue helmet, and a detailed belt loaded with tech elements. I like how he’s posed mid-action with the mace resting over his shoulder while the blaster stays ready at his side, which really shows off the armor sculpt and paint hits across the chest, arms, and legs. The head sculpt sells the likeness well, with a focused expression that matches the on-screen version we’re expecting to see in the film.

Another angle shows the figure squared up on the clear stand, with the armor layering reading a bit differently from the front as the tan plates catch the light against the darker green undersuit. I am really noticing the belt detailing here, with the segmented silver pieces wrapping cleanly around the waist and a small tool hanging off the thigh. The helmet profile and face sculpt come through strong from this view, and the paint hits across the boots and shin armor feel more defined int his angle.
