Mr. Home Arcade comes through yet again with some amazing in hand images of the Hordak and Hellfire Man Stranger Things 2 pack, giving us our best look so far at the translucent parts, the glow in the dark elements, and the overall vibe of this wild crossover set, and I have to say, seeing these details up close has me even more excited than I expected. When we first covered the 2-pack preorder<\/a>, we were already juiced about how off the wall and fun this mashup was shaping up to be, but getting a fresh batch of real world photos from Mr. Home Arcade<\/a> really brings everything to life and connects perfectly to the official images. The firely red parts on Hellfire-Man look so sharp in these in-hand pics, and the translucent and glow-in-the-dark effects on Hordak pops in a way that feels straight out of the darker corners of both Eternia and Hawkins, reminding me why I love when companies take creative swings like this. I always geek out when something I was already excited about ends up looking even better in person, and this set is absolutely hitting that sweet spot. The way the sculpted details catch the light, the way the colors bounce around the plastic, and the way both figures complement each other makes the whole set feel like it was made to be displayed lit up on a shelf, and I cannot wait to dig deeper into the Hordak & Hellfire-Man MOTU Origins Stranger Things 2-Pack in-hand images based on what we can see here. Package Design<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The artwork jumps right at me with Hordak storming through the Upside Down, his pale yelllow face and sharp armor catching the glow from the swirling flames around him as he raises his weapon, now lit with a bright fire effect that really pops. Beside him, Hellfire-Man erupts upward with that intense red skin, horned head, and thick black armor, swinging a heavy mace as embers and flames coil around his path. The whole scene feels alive, with cracked stone, drifting bats, and fiery bursts setting the tone for this wild crossover moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The side art shows Hellfire-Man shredding his jagged Upside Down guitar-blade, his red skin and open-mouthed yell bringing a ton of motion as bats swirl around him and the cracked ground glows beneath his feet. On the other side, Hordak is perched on a crumbling stone throne channeling a burst of bright green energy while gripping his crossbow, and the fractured earth below him adds a great sense of depth as the scene fades into the shadows of the Upside Down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m really digging how the accessories look all spread out, especially that jagged Upside Down guitar with its cracked red patterning and long silver neck that gives it a wicked shape. The chained mace has a cool spiked head and segmented handle, and the translucent flame piece adds a nice burst of color that feels ready to slide over a weapon for an energized blast effect. Although these are repaints of armor we’ve seen before, the black armor brings in that sharp, spiked silhouette, tying the whole set together with a heavier, more aggressive look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hordak<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The glow-in-the-dark head has a pale green cast, giving the helmeted sculpt a spooky, almost waxy look in normal light. The bat accessory has that same milky finish, hinting at its glow feature even before it\u2019s charged up. Up close the body almost takes on a pearlescent effect as the light hits parts.<\/p>\n\n\n

The translucent navy body parts catch the light differently, letting a bit of depth show through the limbs without repeating the effect from the head. Spinning to the back, the solid red cape covers most of the torso, but you can still see those translucent arms peeking out, keeping that see-through finish in play. They also put his armband on the opposite arm to change things up a bit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the armor removed, you can see the deep translucent navy body, which letts light push through the arms, legs, and back just enough to highlight the muscle sculpt. From behind, that same see-through effect carries across the entire torso, giving the figure a cool layered look you only notice once the gear is off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love how the light cuts straight through the translucent navy body here, really showing off the hollow sections and muscle sculpt as everything glows from the inside out. The glow in the dark head stays opaque against the brightness, creating a stark silhouette that makes the contrast between the solid head and see-through torso even sharper in this shot. What jumps out at me is how the glow in the dark pieces light up his whole look, especially that eerie translucent body looks so freakin cool. MHA swapped some Scareglow parts and you can create a full glow effect that looks awesome!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hellfire-Man<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hellfire-Man jumps to life here with that blazing red skin and sharp black armor, and I really like how the fiery blade effect stretches out from his sword in a shifting orange-to-yellow swirl. His mace is a fun nod with its D&D-style geometric shaping and clean panel lines, giving the spiked head a tabletop-inspired twist that fits perfectly with the theme.<\/p>\n\n\n

Hellfire-Man shows off a ton of sharp detail here, from the layered black armor plates across his chest and shoulders to the bright orange\/ed skin that makes all that spiked trim pop. The head sculpt has jagged teeth, flared cheek fins, and curled horns giving him an awesome silhouette. From the back, you can see how the shoulder armor plays off the orange shading across his upper back adds a nice bit of depth against the solid red.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stripped down to the base body, the smooth blend of orange and red really stands out, especially across the chest where the orange fades outward into the deeper red of his limbs. The back shows that same gradient running through the upper shoulders and spine, giving the figure a nice heat-radiating look even without the armor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All geared up, he looks awesome with that guitar slung into a playing pose, and the sculpted horns and snarling expression make the whole stance feel alive. The spiked armor adds a ton of texture across his shoulders and chest, and I like how the D&D-inspired mace head shows off its clean geometric faces when he\u2019s holding it aloft. Swapping over to the flame effect, the orange-to-yellow piece wraps around the sword nicely and gives him a burst of motion to the figure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love that Mr. Home Arcade threw He-Man\u2019s shield on him for this shot, and it actually looks awesome paired with the flaming sword and that wild head sculpt.<\/p>\n\n\n

Seeing all three MOTU figures together is really cool, with Skeletor and He-Man framing the pack-in Hordak and giving a clear look at how his glow-in-the-dark head and translucent body fit really makes a stark contrast to the previous figure designs.<\/p>\n\n\n

From the left you\u2019ve got Vecna, Hellfire-Man, and the Demogorgon lined up, and it\u2019s cool seeing how each one brings a totally different silhouette and texture style, especially with Hellfire-Man\u2019s bright red body breaking up the darker tones on either side.<\/p>\n\n\n
